What a fantastic place The Den is. Super friendly and helpful staff. Tasty, fresh food. Made to order. We visited with friends and consumed our baguettes next to the river in the sunshine. Fantastic vegan options (the reason why we chose The Den). My friends tell me the gold bar brownie was epic!!

Took my mum, daughters and granddaughter for a Mother’s Day treat, we all had the afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was just delicious and so much of it we took some home to enjoy later. The staff were so lovely and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us, they made our visit perfect. Thank you xxx

What an amazing find!! Chunky’s provides a warm and friendly welcome, whilst providing excellent food. We have been in for breakfast which is fantastic and had sandwiches & salad boxes at lunchtime. We have had take away full English breakfasts which are always piping hot when getting home and still of the same quality. If you are looking for a good hearty breakfast (or lunch) look NO further - you won’t be disappointed.

A really great place - coffee is good, cakes are great. Fantastic for my coeliac partner, just a real all-round gem in Reading.

As I vegan, I never expect to be able to eat anything special when I’m not in my home town of go to comforts.. but I was so blown away by their vegan rainbow sandwich! (Can’t remember it official name!) It was so beautifully presented and in abundance, it was such a treat! One of the best bites I’ve had in ages. Thank you! Left so happy !

We drove to Walberswick primarily to go to the deli having visited a few years ago The deli is tiny but full of delicious freshly cooked treats . A tray of Brie red onion and chilli jam quiche was just out of the oven as we waited Being Easter we had hot cross bun home made it was unreal and sat outside is the small court yard to eat with tea We bought red onion sausage roll to take home delicious just wish we had bought more The only challenge is parking near by isn’t easy

What an amazing little gem. On our drive back from Manchester we had to stop in Southport and we were so happy to find the vintage tea room. Got there 10mins before closing time and was told not to worry. Ordered tea and cakes. Mocha walnut cake was so amazing I bought some to take home. Atmosphere was amazing and the place is perfect. Staff were so courteous and a pleasure to chat with. Will happily make another detour to pop in or just have a day out to go there. Many thanks for the tea and cake.
