Three breakfasts during a week’s holiday in Amble. Friendly staff, great coffee, superb bacon sandwiches and toasted teacakes. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place with beautiful food. My daughter had the cheese scones with Chilli jam both were simply incredible and everything here is homemade on site.

Coffee is actually good from this cafe but unfortunately it’s hard to give a higher rating when you’re three year old is told that she’s not allowed to eat a snack because it wasn’t bought in the cafe. She’s three years old. The cafe has a very strange ambience, definitely fine for a takeaway coffee but nothing more.

We were warmly welcomed to this cafe in Amble. The full English breakfast was exceptional and the coffee superb (best in the area).

Ate here on a rainy Easter Monday and had an excellent lunch. The staff were very helpful in advising us on meal choices based on dietary requirements (GF/DF) and altered dishes accordingly. GF bread tasted fresh on our Ham Salad sandwich and the chips were ‘proper’ homemade chips! The special’s menu was a bonus with the Peri Peri chicken panini tasting great. Always check out the specials when you go. The coffee was also excellent, flat white made to perfection. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Amble for the day!

Good coffee and breakfast for all the family. Flat white made properly and breakfast sandwiches were heavenly. Breakfast waffles were enjoyed with bacon and maple syrup - a good start to the day.

Great coffee ok scones and cakes, my husband bought some coffee as we liked it so much.Sadly he bought ground coffee instead of beans and they wouldn’t swop it .So make sure you buy the one you want

The specials board is well worth a look. I had the peri peri chicken Pannini with cheese and it was lovely. Very tasty and with an impressive amount of cheese. Coffee is always good here and is served with the nicest circle of complementary shortbread ever. Generous portions too, far too full for cake after and there was some amazing looking cakes on display today.

We arrived today at 1.55pm. Ordered full English. All good. Couple arrived at 2.05pm. Told all breakfast menu stops at 2pm. Why is this not stated on menu...it says "served all day " All other hot food stops at 2.30pm. Why is this not stated on menu ? We were just finishing our drinks @2.30pm. The waitress started to put the chairs up around us. Felt we had to leave our drinks and get out. The waitress was quite abrupt and sharp. Felt like she was in a mad rush to get the order. However, the food itself arrived promptly, and was delicious. A strange experience...too many times to keep track of, and confusion as to what you can eat when. A definite feeling of "out you go, we want to go home" before we had finished.

Came here today based on other reviews. So glad we did. The food and coffee were delicious. I had a panini which was so tasty and the side salad was equally as good, so fresh! The staff were all so lovely. Quits sure we were talking to the owners and they were genuinely nice and helpful letting us know where to go around Amble. Thank you!

After spending a couple of hours wandering around the harbour shops and along the pier, we were ready for a bite to eat and a drink. From previous, excellent reviews we decided to give this establishment a try. We were served 2 paninis, a chili chicken and a bbq chicken, along with 2 coffees, by very friendly and efficient staff. The food and the coffees were excellent and very reasonably priced, all served in a clean, relaxed and comfortable environment. This will definitely be our 'must visit' destination for refreshment the next time we find ourselves in the North-East of England.

Great little cafe, with two comfortable rooms and a fantastic spacious baby changing room/toilet! Not forgetting the great food and coffee, recommended to us by a departing customer as we entered. I had the sweet chilli chicken, warm soft Italian panini with lovely fresh salad (no crisps, thank goodness). Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Best cafe in Amble? Probably!

We were visiting Amble and needed coffee when we got there. This place was first on the high street where we’d parked so we called in. Coffee and hot chocolate were great and the lotus biscoff millionaires slice was genius and amazing! Service, food, price and cleanliness were all spot on so why would we choose to pay double the price for less of the above for lunch? We therefore had a second visit for panini, breakfast cob (unheard of amount of sausages in the cob), and a delicious Caribbean chicken salad. Highly recommend and will return.

My husband, 2 year old son and I went here for brunch and it was excellent. Really welcoming and attentive service, good selection of food, and the breakfast was AMAZING. Served really hot, smelled and looked great and tasted brilliant, good size portion and good value too. Highly recommend it!

First time I've tried this cafe and it didn't disappoint. Great breakfast, the sausages tasted amazing, 2 lovely runny fried eggs and a full plate of other excellent food. Lovely little place to drop in for a coffee. Sadly not dog friendly, they may rethink that in time. Anyway the coffee is best around town and we have nipped in each morning for take a ways and loved the first coffee of the day.

Gorgeous little cafe on Queen Street in Amble, lucky find. Sausage and bacon sandwiches were lively - hot and loads of filling. Plenty of tea to accompany my sausage sandwich and the little biscuit on the side was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

We went to visit Amble on our tour around Northhumbdrland.So glad we did,after having a walk around the town. We had paninis..1 tuna melt &a roasted vegetable! Both were very well presented & very tasty..The staff were very friendly too.Highly recommended.
