Visited Bourton Club twice over a short break in the village. The club was very welcoming with great facilities including a pool table, dartboard and juke box. The staff were really friendly and gave us loads of tips on places to visit in the local area. Would fully recommend!

Delicious food - the home baking is at patisserie level! A good range of hot meals - filling and fresh. Nice touches like a side salad that was really mixed and interesting. A light, airy space right in the middle of Perth. Lovely charitable organisation well worth your support!

This is a wonderful place that offers lovely food, including a full english breakfast, tea and coffee to all who need company and need a sanctuary for contemplation and want to meet new friends. Come and enjoy the excellent service and friendly faces. Delicious food, thank you.

Mi segunda visita en los últimos meses para almorzar, y debo admitir que me encanta este lugar, tan lejos de los caminos trillados que tiene que ser uno de los secretos mejor guardados. Tuvimos una charla fantástica con el encargado de hacer el pedido y cajeros que estableció un comienzo tan amable. Fuimos a desayunar verduras y terminamos con una bebida caliente en uno de los sillones grandes. Difícil de explicar por qué los lugareños aman este lugar, pero volveré para más paradas de almuerzo.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestros cafés y este acogedor pequeño café apropiadamente llamado. Las claras planas eran excelentes - los granos son de buena calidad, y el café se extrajo perfectamente. ¡No me extraña que sea tan popular!

Just been to Leaf and Bean. My husband, me and my sister in law. The menu had plenty to pick off. All 3 meals were good. My husband and his sister had carrot cake after their meal. Me I couldn't eat another thing. Staff very polite. We had our little dog with us. We got him a Susage. Which he enjoyed. Will we go back - bet we would 100%

Volvimos a Crunch & Co mientras visitaba Brighton. Conformándonos con el Classic Crunch, entonces tomamos un lugar acogedor en la esquina de la tienda. El sándwich llegó en pocos minutos y era justo lo que necesitábamos para un bocado a la hora del almuerzo. El crujir del pan tostado hizo resonar suavemente mis oídos. Era un sonido que indicaba que los dolores de hambre estaban a punto de aplastarse rápidamente. Luego vino el chorro de queso gooey bechamel, rezumando a través de mi lengua y entrelazando los dientes. Burlarme de los pedazos de queso que salían de la boca era una acción necesaria y que saboreé. Estábamos posicionados para que los transeúntes pudieran vernos devorando nuestros sándwiches. Top notch little place, great decor and immaculate presentation. Thoroughly recommended. Warm welcome and good selection of ales and craft beers.

This was an overnight stay with breakfast and dinner, so I experienced the full enjoyment of this family hotel. These hardworking and popular people are busy upgrading the hotel to modern standards, but they have kept the best of the traditional interior, small reminders of when this place was right at the centre of a very busy village, complete with railway line and agricultural mart, both of which have been repurposed to great effect. See Maud Railway Museum and Old Mart Cafe for details. The welcome at the Station Hotel is warm and informative, complete with unnecessary apology for some ongoing refurb noise. It's obvious everything's being done to a very high standard. The room was comfortable, clean and the tea tray contained an extra selection of fruit and herbal teas and a brunch bar that was more interesting than the usual biscuits. Evening meal was in the bar, where it quickly became obvious what a popular place this is for locals, including a jolly book group, and others who just popped in for a drink and a natter. The food was great, made all the more special by a section in the menu dedicated to local sources... and they really were (sometimes the word local does a bit of heavy lifting), so here's what was on my plate... fruit and veg from Longleys of Maud, seafood from McConnell's of Stuartfield and Peterhead and - when I return, which will be soon - most likely meat from Ewan Morris of Mintlaw and Stuartfield. Wow! And I have to give a shout out to the chef, especially for the smoked haddock fishcake, which is now up there with Cullen Skink on my delishfishometer chart. After a comfortable night, breakfast was in the oldest part of the hotel, a room filled with charm and history. I opted for the smaller breakfast as I was attending a morning event elsewhere, but the eggs were beautifully cooked and tasty, and I could have as much toast as I wanted. I was sad to leave this hotel with its lovely hosts and staff. A lot of bigger places could learn from the Station Hotel's Hospitality With A Heart.

Lovely place although limited opening hours. Will be back to sample some more dishes.
