Arreglé tomar mis bebidas antes de la cena de cumpleaños en 1924, ya que es mi lugar favorito para cócteles en Scarborough. El propietario amablemente nos dejó tener uso exclusivo de la planta baja. Tuvimos un tiempo absolutamente fantástico, a todos les encantó el ambiente y los cócteles y cócteles. Todavía estamos hablando de lo genial que fue, y organizando más cumpleaños allí. Encantador entorno, pero el personal es increíblemente grosero, no podía levantar una sonrisa y mucho menos ser educado. Que nos digan ‘sois adultos dejad de actuar como niños’ cuando nos atrevemos a reír es bastante insultante. Tal vez si la grosera ‘mujer’ supiera divertirse entonces no tendría que recurrir a comentarios petulantes. Que luego nos digan que tuvimos que irnos por atrevernos a reírnos es más que una broma. Vivo en Scarborough y definitivamente no volvería.

Absolutamente hermosa joya escondida en la calle Bar en Scarborough. Estábamos buscando un lugar para tomar un cóctel y nos recomendaron este bar como un "bar con clase, peculiar, cóctel" Cumplió su descripción perfectamente. El personal era increíble y sus cócteles, honestamente, los mejores que he probado. Precio razonable y un montón de opciones. Recomiendo encarecidamente y desearía que estuviera más cerca de casa

Precioso lugar acogedor brillantes cócteles, personal de bar menta, es una joya escondida tbh! No es el más barato, pero usted obtiene lo que paga. Sin duda vale la pena una visita, volveremos xx

What’s not to like? An exciting and extensive menu, very well made cocktails with lots of attention to detail and lovely staff in a wonderfully bespoke speakeasy atmosphere.

My wife and I saw this bar on a stroll along Bar Street during Saturday afternoon, but just before it opened. We called in after our evening meal and really enjoyed our cocktails, Porn Star Martini for her and Bar Street Burlesque for me. Both excellent and we will return next time we are in Scarborough.

The Tokyo ice tea is probably the best cocktail I've ever had. Bartender is beyond accommodating. Clientèle amazing, no cliques. All round amazing atmosphere. Couldn't recommended further.

This has to be a hidden gem in Scarborough. The quirky speakeasy vibe with hidden doors and good atmosphere, really do make it a great place to visit. There is loads of choice of drinks (lots of cocktails but other drinks too) and they are gorgeous! The staff are friendly and although this place appears small there is further seating downstairs. This has definitely become my new favourite place to visit!

I absolutely love this place! Quirky decor, lovely staff and an amazing range of cocktails which range from £6 - £12. They also have beers & wine. Dog friendly!

Amazing end to our evening in 1924! Beautifully decorated, amazing atmosphere and the tastiest cocktails. Helen even created a bespoke cocktail for one of our party! We will be back!

Genuinely adorable! The atmosphere is so great! It’s always quiet in here which is so surprising for a bar that has such a pure and lovable atmosphere! The hidden bar was absolutely stunning! I had my first drink here as an 18 year old and loved it! The mocktails are great for non-drinkers too! Absolutely love it here, has to be my all time fav place for an evening out! Great for a quick drink after a meal out.

1924 is a great little cocktail bar on Bar Street. It’s decor is brilliantly themed and the music gives it a great atmosphere. There’s a good selection of cocktails, and they’re very well made. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming.

Absolute amazing small and quiet very welcoming assisted my partner with what drink he could have. Highly recommend..

Here for an anniversary celebration. The 'speakeasy' with hidden downstairs seating and extensive cocktail bar is to die for! So rarely do we get to go out to a proper cocktail bar. The lady that owns it is so knowledgeable about her craft and the range of drinks is vast- we had 3 (yes, 3!) each. Yes we were drunk, but it was impossible not to want to sample the wide range on offer. A shame the green room is no longer as these 2 venues in scarborough ought to be the way forward. The old buildings and rows lend themselves to brilliant places like this. I really hope she does well, this place is special

Wow what an amazing place. Just happened to find it when looking for bars on bar street. Such a welcoming place love the hidden room and loo. Beautiful decor the place to go if you want somewhere a little different. Large cocktail menu. Reasonably priced. Love the berry bakewell, 1924 and grasshopper. It was that good went on both nights of our holiday. Would must definitely return and highly recommended.

Excellent cocktails, service and atmosphere would recommend the Berry Bakewell plus any of the Dessert cocktails had too many to remember all the names they were that good!
