A superb cafe. Great food, lovely staff and amazing value. Will definitely be back. Oh and the cakes are amazing!

Embarked on a walk from the o2 to Woolwich and while walking through an industrial area found the Chef House Kitchen. We had an all day breakfast and a fry up from the menu with a lovely pot of tea, both were delicious and really good value for money. The staff were warm and friendly and the decor was modern and comfortable. I’d definitely go back, it was lovely!

A regular place me and my colleagues like to visit. Perfect atmosphere to sit down and reflect on the important community outreach that we have achieved in the past months. Staff are happy to look the other way and so are we! Unfortunately some "Karens" have complained that our (legitimate) presence was not "in the spirit" of lockdown and we have now had to find another place to visit that is 20 mins drive from the "office" #thinblueline

This cafe is such a find!!! Tucked away with plenty of parking, the cafe staff were so friendly and helpful! Loads of breakfast choice, I had the porridge which was delicious and rest of the party were v impressed with their full English breakfasts. Good value for money too. Staff even let us let get the toy car zoom around the track on the wall, the whole cafe was buzzing and laughing! Would absolutely recommend x

We were walking the Thames path, and found that the Thames Barrier centre was closed. Its an ill wind - we are so glad that we asked a local where to get lunch, and she recommended this hidden gem! Friendly and amusing service, and great value. Well worth finding if you are nearby - we are telling all our walking friends about it!

We found this wonderful place by accident as we get towards the end of our Thames source-to-sea walk and it was a complete delight. Great staff, fabulous food, interesting art.

When on Buisness trip with Viking colleagues we always pop into this cafe tho this does it a disservice it’s far better than that , Open plan kitchen , owner / chef always on duty Great range of breakfast items , lunch specials even better Great value big portions Great service Very very happy to recommend see you next time 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I happened across this place, when I was having a walk from Beckton to Thames Flood Barrier, and I fancied a cuppa. It may tucked away in a trading/industrial estate, but definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. The seating was very comfortable, leather chairs and sofas. The range of teas (and coffees) was impressive. I settled for PG Tips. I was impressed by the price, £1 is good going by London standards, a mug-full too. Though the cafe was busy (10am on a Friday morning), staff were courteous and efficient. The place is well patronised, with builders, police officers and joiners alike. Although I didn't have food, the breakfasts they were cooking, looked and smelt and delicious (food is prepared in sight of the dining area). Next time I'm in area, it will definitely pop in again.

Area not visited for work before, my colleagues bought me here. Lovely cafe, had the Squealer without sauce, very nice, everyone else’s looked good. Quick friendly service. Definitely come here again if in the area.

not many places like this left. quality food, served by very friendly and excellent staff. great menu choices with different lunch specials every day. a must for anyone visiting Woolwich.

Visited for breakfast this morning. Not well signposted so Google Map it. Worth finding though. Great food, lovely decor, friendly owners. Not the cheapest but worth the extra, would recommend.

Been coming here for a fair while and it never disappoints. Loads of different specials to choose from so you can't get bored with the menu. Staff (especially Pauline) are friendly and helpful, food tasty. Great little place tucked away.
