Great Breakfast baps and really good coffee. We stopped off early morning for a quick bite and coffee before heading off for a hill walk. The coffee was so good we had a second round!

Ordered two omelettes, which were filled with cheese and ham. They tasted really good and there was plenty of filling, to finish off the presentation they could have done with a little bit of salad or coleslaw, but this didn't affect the taste. Lattes were strong frothy coffees, so really good. To finish, we ordered a portion of the banana and biscoff homemade cake and this was absolutely amazing, so light, fluffy and tasty and a good size portion too, yummy!

Very clean cafe serving innovative and healthy food. The toilet has plenty of room and also very clean. I loved my veggie breakfast of 2 poached eggs garden greens baked beans tomatoes mushrooms and toast. Hubby also loved his Welsh rarebit with salad and chutney. Pot of tea and hot chocolate were ideal, non dairy milk was available. The drinks were so nice we had seconds. We walked in just before it became busy on a weekday morning.

My wife & I ate here for lunch in March. I had the Roasted French goats cheese on a delicious slice of bread with walnuts, honey & a side salad. This was so tasty & the goats cheese was excellent. My wife had a really tasty Welsh Rarebit which she devoured & did manage to say it was delightful. The lady that took the order was very friendly & welcoming. We couldn't resist finishing with a warm almond croissant. Also very nice. Would highly recommend calling here for something to eat it was all delicious.

A very welcoming cafe run by two sisters (I think) who are just a delight. They are charming, helpful and gracious and do all their own baking and cooking. My husband ordered the poached eggs on toast with bacon and I had the bacon in a bun and we both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts which we had with a very large cup of very good coffee. It is very rare that one would have breakfast out (unless of course in a hotel on an overnight stay) so it did feel like a treat for us and in fact the sisters made it feel so. A very pleasant morning spent in a cosy and warm environment with both locals and tourists popping in and out. Definitely a not to miss cafe.

The cafe is situated in the town of Crickhowell. The name "gallois" itself translated into English means "belonging or relating to Wales". The breakfast i had was not worthy of the £9.30 as i would of expected more for the money. The veggie breakfast was similar to the normal all day breakfast apart from giving you two poached eggs and a green salad the rest was identical though the grease left on the plate was undesirable. Other meals on the menu seemed to be on the more expensive side than other cafes i have been in The cafe its self was ok, but one could easily see that seating would not be enough at lunchtime or other busiest times of the week. I will not be venturing here again.
