This was a delightful find. Such friendly staff, lovely view and delicious food and drink. I had the potato cake stack and my friend had the breakfast omelette. Both were outstanding and piping hot. Would go back as often as I could

Delicious food! Excellent service! We had the avocado on toast, iced oat milk late and 2 breakfast cobs and it was all delicious. Staff were really polite and helpful.

A warm, inviting cafe... Cafe Rian is a wonderful place to grab a coffee and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone in the area looking for great drinks and a cozy spot to relax.

Given it's high rating we were expecting more than was delivered. Expensive food for what we received. All sauces lacking in flavour and definition. Odd food pairings, e.g. duck spring rolls (poor) with satay. Pork chop and lamb rump both excellent meat and well cooked, but served with what was described as a house ceasar salad was simply weird and not even caesar flavoured. Excellent sauvignon blanc.

As joyless a place as you can imagine. Incapable of taking feedback. Look at every criticism their business receives.

This place is magical!!.. we took our 4 year old grandson yesterday and we all had a fabulous time, we painted a gingerbread man, filled a jar with sweets, had coffee, hot chocolate, pancakes, ice cream, milkshake, and had a complementary bag of popcorn and candyfloss!!!.. I cannot rate this place highly enough.. lovely staff, the atmosphere takes me back to my childhood with all the jars of sweets..too many to count!!..I would even recommend this for a group of grown ups.. loved it!..thank you..Xxx

Lovely place to eat even if making your way in to Edinburgh. Great area to leave your car.
