Breakfast Zone Cafe in Hastings

I've been here a few times, the service is always good and the food is great! When I'm nearby it is my breakfast/brunch go to place!

Food was awful cold and poor quality Witnessed the "cook" handling raw meat then cooked and cash without washing hands. Also saw him wiping down with a filthy cloth different areas around kitchen area. No surprise I had upset stomach later that day. I only ate my food as I starving. Ruined my holiday 😒

So we arrived full of hope for a lovely breakfast. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately we witnessed the cook handling raw bacon then cash then cooked food with out washing hands. Oh and using a cloth wiping raw and cooked areas. Coffee came luke warm. Food arrived. Beans was not cooked. Food was cold. Ate cause we was starving. Will definitely not be returning. How ever the e h o should pay a visit.

I went here with a friend for lunch, it is a very well run and friendly place; the owner is an absolute star! The quality of the food was excellent, and the coffee is always so good. The service was equally excellent with a very attentive waitress. It is no wonder at all that this café is always full to bursting when we have been there. It is great to see a very, very good cafe being so well supported and appreciated by the local community.

What an absolutely brilliant breakfast spot. We finished eating there under an hour ago and we had to leave a review straight away. All four of us built our own breakfast from a fantastic selection of cooked to order items and everything was completely delicious. The grilled cherry tomatoes were perfectly cooked, well seasoned and garnished with herbs, the sausages were excellent quality, the poached eggs were wonderfully runny and the hash browns were crisp and golden. My partner said the avocado was really flavoursome and well spiced ‘one of the best he’s had’, and we are all so looking forward to going back. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful and the chefs were smiley and lovely and did a great job cooking everything fresh to order. Not at all pretentious, excellent value for money and genuinely delicious. St Leonard’s is an amazing place for food and this is no exception - I’m so happy my parents have just moved back!

First rate selection of freshly cooked food. We went for the healthy option, really good. Excellent side salad included. Good sized portions and great coffee.

This is a great place for breakfast . I had the healthy plate and it was delicious. A really good portion size. The staff are great, very professional and everything is very clean. Highly recommend

I used to think this was a greasy fried food café but boy was I wrong! I will be a regular customer after trying it twice now in past few weeks! Best breakfast in the area as far as I'm concerned! The first breakfast I tried was the Mediterranean breakfast, today it was the New York one absolutely delicious!(see photo for what you get!). I go for Americano coffee, was not disappointed. The decor inside is crisp & clean , the mural reflects the local buildings, and was done by hand apparently! Very pleasant staff, great service check you are enjoying your food. You get what you pay for and there is not a lot of fat in the breakfast, a very pleasant surprise. Count us in now as regulars!

Well cooked greasy spoon, good variety and really quick and friendly service.

An absolute delicious freshly made breakfast. Wonderful atmosphere, great staff and overall great dinner experience. It made what was a gloomy weather day into a nice sunny experience.

Fantastic cafe with excellent friendly service and freshly cooked food. Great choice of breakfast and brunch dishes. You can even create a completely customized meal. My daughter had a traditional fry up and I had eggs Benedict. Both delicious and good portions. Highly recommended.

Unusual breakfast selection, great Americano coffee. I chose breakfast that included peppers, feta cheese, black olives, salad and what you see in the photo! My friend chose the New York breakfast including blueberries, banana, pancakes, honey etc. I'm keen to try that another time. Other friend chose traditional English breakfast. Expensive, but worth it. The photos speak for themselves. Clean and tidy inside and v good waitress service. A real hit. Will definitely return! I liked the fact they had balance between expensive and less expensive options.

Ok but not as good as old England pub better value and better quality and lot cheaper and lot nicer

All I can say is one of the best fry ups I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked. Not huge but enough, washed down with tea. Really nice staff as well. Highly recommended.

Had breakfast here a couple of times recently when staying in Hastings. Haven’t had anything as nice anywhere. Absolutely delicious, freshly made, lovely staff and great service. I would go all the way back there just for a breakfast with fried bread, delicious !! 😋 😋

Good reception when we entered the cafe.There were eight of us. Two tables were put together for us to be together. The service and food was very good.

Always good food and friendly service

My partner and I had 2 nights accommodation nearby and needed to find somewhere for breakfast. This tiny cafe was a brilliant find, the staff were friendly and efficient, the food was freshly cooked, prices were reasonable. We had different cooked breakfasts each day and couldn't fault it. The staff apologised for the short delay but it's to be expected when they're at full capacity and cooking to order, it wasn't a problem for us at all. Would highly recommend.

Had reviews on Tripadvisor and they were correct - the best Full English we’ve had in a long time! Served hot, tasty and with very little wait and with a big smile. We couldn’t ask for more!

walked past at first then decided to turn back round so glad i did coz what a great little place staff really friendly food was outstanding atmospheric very chilled prices great and inline for average priceing . i must say i had full english breakfast and it one of the best full english breakfasts ive ever had i will definitely be returning to this little gem

This place is ideal for those wanting to try a full English (5 stars) I would give another five for the service, they were super helpful even though we have a bulky Thule 2 kid carrier, and seem to have a permanent smile. They also changed my opinion of the blood pudding! I’m hooked, or just shot now for all others!

Whilst in the area we were looking for somewhere to have lunch. With a real lack of open and available fish and chip shops we stumbled across this place whilst just walking about. From the moment we entered to the moment we left the staff...

Great restraunt. Food was warm and filling Ordered a bacon and sausage bugette and had to add brown sauce myself. Food was delicious and served quickly. Would come again.

Breakfast Zone sort of looks like a greasy spoon and it does serve all the full English stuff however it is a cut above the rest. The food is good and extends to all the millennial veggie smashed advocdo stuff. Whenever I have visitors staying in SLoS and we want to eat in the morning, Breakfast Zone is our first port of call.

Found this place on the off chance while shopping in St Leonards. What a find! Great place for an all day fry up. Clean and tidy with a good atmosphere. We are now back here for the second time just for the New York breakfast! Well worth a visit if you are in the area or even if it requires a few miles detour! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

Great breakfast good value, right in the heart of St Leonards.

Staff were friendly, location was easy to find, unfortunately no parking but that is a similar theme for a lot of Hastings. Mezze Platter was great, and some fantastic halloumi specifically!!

This cafe does gorgeous breakfasts all Day long but loads of other stuff in the menu. I have been here many many times and each time the food is delicious and the staff are just completely lovely and make this a great experience. It’s not greasy or smelly inside it’s modern and clean. You must go!

Big menu with a lot of different breakfast choices throughout the day. Either eggs (cooked in different ways) or sandwiches. You can create your own dish as well which is really convenient (add or exclude ingredients). Food and coffee was top quality.. will 100% return next time i need a breakfast and I'm in the area!

They serve other fare as well, including breakfast, jacket potatoes, etc. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. Wish we had found this gem earlier in our stay in St. Leonard's. Highly recommend!

Good service very clean. The guys cooking are always friendly and waitresses are on the ball and prompt. Ok it’s not fine dining but the food is good and it’s the best place for a good breakfast in Hastings, St.Leonard’s or Bexhill in my opinion....

We visited St Leonard’s on sea for a mini break and found this cafe while out looking for somewhere for breakfast, we were glad we did, absolute 10 out of 10 breakfast. The ingredients are great quality and were cooked to perfection and the service...

Frequently visit for early breakfast. Recommended. Not a greasy spoon no grease beautifully cooked standards by Turkish owner and staff. Can be very busy. Enjoy coming down and the lever coffee machine is a work of art giving everyone the finest cup of coffee on the South Coast. CH

A great choice of breakfasts all at very reasonable prices and very good quality. Not a drop of grease in sight. The service from the young lady was quick and friendly, the breakfasts arrived promptly, were piping hot and very tasty. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this cafe for anyone wanting a good decent breakfast. Delicious.
