The Murrayfield in Edinburgh, City of

Just had a fabulous Sunday Roast, food was excellent. We were served mainly by Lucy who was so friendly and attentive despite it being Rugby day. Thank you all - it was wonderful 😊

We had the pleasure of a spontaneous visit here having passed it many times on the way to a rugby match. We were warmly invited, seated within seconds, given time to choose or food and drinks. Service was superb. Our cocktails delicious to the point of ordering a second round. We ordered starters and mains and all four dishes were divine. I can't recommend the Dine Murrayfield experience enough.

Nice looking place, great staff, average food.

Enjoyed a family meal here before Christmas. The staff were nice, and allowed us to do the pre-theatre menu even though we had missed the cut off for it. However the service generally wasn't the best. My partner wasn't drinking and had to keep asking for refills of water, eventually asking for a jug which he never got. I think they also forgot my starter, which I then got 5 mins after everyone else, so everyone was almost done before I started enjoying mine. Then there was a long wait between the starters and the mains. The food itself was good, just a shame about the wait. I had steak and chips, and thought the steak was cooked perfectly - and the herb butter was really yum! Everything felt really fresh, and everyone left well fed!

Our party enjoyed a good meal although not perfect and hence the 4 stars. Restaurant is smaller than I expected so I would recommend booking. Would return when in Edinburgh.

We recently dined here and while the food was enjoyable, the experience was marred by being evicted after our main course without any prior notice. After finishing our main course, we were offered the dessert menu. However, before we had a chance to order, we were abruptly informed that we had to vacate the table as the restaurant “needed it back.” This was both surprising and frustrating, as we had not been informed of any time limit at the time of booking. On reviewing the small print of our booking confirmation we found that our reservation was meant to allow us a further 40 minutes—ample time to enjoy dessert. This lack of clear communication left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Dining out is about more than just the food; it’s about the overall experience.

I've always wanted to have a meal in Dine and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The food was incredible and the service excellent. Would highly recommend.

A gem of a neighborhood restaurant! Comforting food, warm atmosphere, and wonderful service. Dine Murrayfield is like eating at home in the best possible way. The evening's recommendation of braised Scottish beef with roasted root veg and mash was perfect for a blustery evening. Cheers to Les for holding down host and waiting duties and the chef for a fantastic evening.

Excellent spot, great food and range of drinks, and very good value for money. Best enjoyed with a walk along the leith water way.

Dropped in for solo breakfast as my son had a class near by. Nice interior, polite service and great breakfast croissant with scrambled eggs and salmon. Hazelnut cold brew coffee was amazing and unexpected from a small neighbourhood restaurant. Will surely try for lunch or dinner soon

My favourite stop in Murrayfield

The duck melted in my mouth and the pork tenderloin was serbed on a delicious barley risotto. Should not have ordered the tenderstem broccoli as there was already some with the duck.

This was one of the most pleasant hotels I have visited. The food was absolutely lovely and amazing quality the staff were also a delight and extremely friendly and welcoming most importantly, the service was excellent. I will definitely be paying another visit sometime soon as I had a great experience.

Lovely busy atmosphere. Brunch menu varied. I opted for Eggs Benedict and unfortunately the poached eggs were overcooked. Had to remind one of the staff to bring my orange juice. If I go back I would opt for a cooked breakfast, either vegetarian or meat option, as they looked plentiful and delicious.

I've had some fantastic breakfasts at Dine Murrayfield but last night was the first time I'd been in the evening. Dine put on a Spanish evening in collaboration with Liberty Wines. The food was brilliant and the wines well matched. I would recommend and will definitely go back.

We stayed for a week. It is a great boutique hotel. It is central to downtown, airport and getting out of town by car is a breeze. Special shout out to Kyla at The Bothy. She is absolutely amazing. Breakfast Buffet is tasty and has something for everyone. Well made and presented well. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Schönes kleines Lokal etwas abseits vom großen Rummel. Neues Personal und eine umfangreiche Getränkekarte (Wein, Whisky, Drinks). Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Sicher eine Empfehlung wert, wenn man auch bereit ist, dir Leistung zu bezahlen.
