Friendly pub close to city centre

Great find as we were exploring on Sunday. A proper, friendly and good pub food at very reasonable pricing. Quality of the meats for the Sunday roast were good. Certainly not using pre packed meat slices other places use. Will definitely come back.

We found it a bit dark and uninviting but that's just us. Got the given the menu but weren't told that most of pubs were out, so we had to settle for what was left. except for that the staff were very friendly and the food lovely. Would I go back? probably not.

Por desgracia, el Ebury está ahora cerrado, después de más de 50 años. Que realmente se pierda este exclusivo bar de vinos y restaurante, pequeño y especialmente Alan, Trent y todo el resto del personal que hizo que un lugar tan acogedor.

Wonderful to visit for the first time with the new owners. Just for coffee and pan au Chocolat this time. Excellent service, and lovely decor. The new owners certainly know what hospitality is all about

What a pub,, the cream stout is to die for,, the landlady Chloe is the nuts,,, knows how to pull a pint, beer is cheap as chips ,, Matt the landlord tells me that Camra card holders will soon get discount as well,, cracking pub with cracking people 10/10 😍

Sadly, not as busy as it used to be & with less beer choice for the real ale enthusiast.
