Costa Coffee in Great Yarmouth

Food was nice and on time, but not all the items were available. I ordered food for myself and wife and only my wife’s drink was delivered. I had no contact by just eat or costa to give me the chance to order something different. I just had a note on the receipt stating they were unavailable and to claim my money back through just eat which will be reviewed in the next 7 days…. Overall not great.

I placed an order via just eat for my niece as it is her birthday and I was unable to make it to see her today to get a drink together. I put a note asking if they could write happy birthday on the bag. I was touched to receive a photo from my niece of it when she messaged to thank me (she didn't know I had asked) Thank you, it was really sweet of staff to read the note and take the time to do that for me. Thank you!

I really had a lovely time, the staff were polite and generous especially as I was reading and they asked if it was okay to still hoover. It was cozy and the drink was tasty

While on holiday in Gorleston on Sea, we stopped here for a drink. The place was very clean and staff very pleasant with us. We ordered 2 Cappuchinos which was our usual drink - they did not disappoint. We sat and people watched as we drank and although it was busy, the staff appeared to be happy in their work. We would definitely return.

driver didn't know where he was going and nearly dropped the delivery off at the wrong house, he had to be corrected. the salted caramel with coffee has no coffee in it and we asked for NO cream but it still came with cream! not sure if it's allowed but the delivery driver had what looked to be his family in the car with him.

The staff here are always welcoming and friendly upon arrival. I also like the fact the staff make that extra effort at this costa branch and bring my hot drink to the table if I drink in. The restaurant itself is always kept clean along with the toilets. The tables are also always kept clean and tidy by the staff

Went in the other day for a coffee wasn't very busy so ordered my coffee and sat down and waited after about 20-30 minutes I went to counter to enquire and they had somehow managed to lose my order didn't have anymore time to wait so got a refund maybe just a one off but will go back and see if the service improves maybe the staff need to concentrate more

Decent! nice staff, small shop, no newspapers on the rack last time I was in which is a shame but decent Costa non the less.

The order was an hour and a half late . Coffee was freezing cold, and frappe was melted . Not impressed with this order at all

The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and she served everyone to their table, even if you were only having a coffee.

Popped in for a quick seasonal gingerbread hot chocolate. Clean, quick service and as tasty as usual.

Lids not secure on the drinks so were all spilled when they got here. 20 quid it's really not good enough.

The staff go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. The chocolate ganache cake and carrot cake are to die for. The staff are always extremely busy, but they always have a smile for their customers.

Went for a cuppa in Gorleston costa Very bad service with a member of staff very rude.my cousin ordered a pot of tea for 2 along with something to eat. When it was brought to table it was in 2 paper cups when they said they wanted 2 pots of tea not 2 paper cups the member of staff said you can say xand complain all you what it wont get you anywhere

Rolls cold, tough and chewy. Bacon was tough like plastic. Cakes and coffee were OK though

Love costa, wish they would provide stronger bags though as the driver is always so nervous handing it over as the bags are weak

Coffees were nice but about 1/4 of the drinks were spilled and missing on the delivery through justEat and no straws were in the bag either.

The driver always makes me feel uncomfortable and stands there keeping me talking whilst my order is still in the bag and I have to tell him I'm busy I need to hurry up please can i have my order but he still doesn't listen and he always spills all my drinks

We visited Costa at Gorleston this morning 4th August for coffee and cake,the two members of staff who served us were very polite and friendly, a credit to your company 10 out of 10

The costa ended up not having the food they had said they had the only reason we ordered was because we wanted the food

Received wrong panini and wrong drink. Ticket in the order reads correct. However I ordered tuna melt panini, received cheese and tomato (which wasn’t even available to order so not sure why that happened). Ordered mango and passion fruit fruit cooler but received mango bubble iced tea - I don’t drink tea so that’s a complete waste of money. Really disappointing Delivered in good time

Great coffee, but it's very pricey for the portion sizes you get. Perhaps more pricey than Starbucks!

Drink was still warm and brownie was tasty, I had to reheat the Mac and cheese for a couple of minutes. Delivery was on time and driver was pleasant

They serve you really quick and are really sweet and caring and a great place for a catch-up to eat and drink

I always order from costa but I'm sure it would have been lovely as it usually is but unfortunately on this occasion it never turned up even know it said delivered on the website. In the costa store the girls are very friendly and polite, so next time instead of ordering, I shall pop into costa instead.

I have not tried the food yet and it was the first time I've been to Costa coffee The staff was very kind

I asked for Kit Kat hot choc and got coffee

The staff is friendly. Coffee was okay. But the choice of desserts is poor, no healthy desserts. Also very many people, too loud because of that.

Cake was stale, hot chocolate was cold and a toaster came instead of a panini with the wrong stuff inside of it :)

Food was fine but no costa receipt or voucher so could not claim my points from the Costa app. It was one of the main reasons I ordered.

Asked for caramel decaf latte and a caramel hot chocolate. Neither taste like they have caramel in them and the latte was definitely not decaf. Such a shame, usually staff are very attentive to orders but either way both drinks were not drank and will not be ordering from Gorleston costa again🤧

Driver didn’t turn up but pressed delivered

Staff were not exactly friendly and made excuses about my cup being returned as it was dirty. They then removed afew more cups before another lady gave me a clean one. They don't sell toast here so I had a cornflake cake, it's was very soft, strange thing. Maybe they're made different there who knows. It wasn't super clean but it was ok, the toilets however have a very strong smell which just isn't nice. My friend used the toilet told me as I was about to go, I thought I'd risk it but in the end I decided to pass.

I was in this store on the day of the previous negative review. All I can say is judge for yourselves on the amount of great reviews given. I did not have any issues and the staff were nothing but attentive and polite. Haven’t we got anything better to moan about. These staff work so hard! Amazing as far as I’m concerned so take your moaning elsewhere!

So disappointed in this Costa, having found other branches to be fine. Visited here on Sunday late morning 11/12/22 and upon arrival, there was no-one ahead of me at the counter so hoped I would be out with 2 coffees really quickly. 2 staff on duty, 1 male and 1 female and both seemed busy preparing trays for customers who were sitting at tables. One of the trays had a toasted sandwich on it. After a few minutes the male staff member took my order and payment and went to the coffee machine. He seemed very unsure and kept checking tickets then going back to the machine. He then started to prepare drinks and I realised that they were not mine so then understood that they were backed up. It became evident that along with preparing trays for customers at the tables, the lady was also preparing an Uber/Just Eat collection. Other customers arrived and placed orders and I still waited. After 15 minutes (with no explanation of the delay or apology) a customer who came in after me was given her drinks before me!! The tray containing the toasted sandwich which was there when I arrived was STILL on the counter - drinks were finally added to this tray and it was delivered to the table - must have been lukewarm at best. Finally, after around 20 minutes, my drinks were given to me with a mumbled 'Sorry about the wait, mate'. Clearly the 2 staff members were struggling and were maybe new to it but some basic customer service skills would have gone a long way to aleviate the frustration I (and others by then) was feeling. Plenty of other cafes and coffee shops in Gorleston so will not return to the Costa.

Driver was an absolute sweetheart, coffee wasn't fastened right so it spilled but he went and got another one. Honeslty 10/10 for that man.

Stopped here to work for the day and had some food and drink. Good service throughout and high quality. Wifi held up too.

Congratulations to the new manager who has turned this costa from dark and gloomy bad service to one of the best and welcoming costas I've ever visited I give this costa a miss since beginning of year due to bad attitude staff and dark gloomy store over the last few months with new management I have seen all areas better than improve back to a happy store I will now be happy to visit first thing in the morning to start a happier day well done all new staff

Lovely well prepared drinks and courteous and efficient delivery, what more could you ask for when having the luxury of a drink made for you and delivered. Thank you everyone for a little piece of heaven on a hot, humid day.

Excellent service. They didn't have one of the items I had ordered so they sent an M&S substitute along with 2 extra pieces of cake I had ordered as an apology. 🙂

This shop need extreamly deep cleaning milk pot been used for made hot chocolate and after she use for made latte was chocolate powders inside also the staff need training for how they need speak with customers

Was served by one very rude member of staff, shouted at me aggressively when i was looking at the food and there was no queue behind me. I have heard he is often very rude to my peers who come here during college and kicked out one of my friends when she was sitting with her drink minding her business (the cafe was no where near full). He clearly has no customer service training and is an embarrassment to the company. I hope appropriate action is taken.

I ordered an iced mocha and it was really dark and it tasted very powdery. I asked if it could be made again or if it was the right drink and they pretty much told me to go away. Disgusted and would recommend you never go there:/

Dirty Looking Costa Coffee shop on Gorleston High Street, no better inside,dingy and dirty looking, whole place looked like it needed a good clean, 9am on a weekday and dirty tables?? Unisex toilet stank of sewerage, awful awful smell as you opened the door, I'm male and used to work on building sites and have had better smelling portaloo's on sites than I had during my Costa Visit, can only agree with the recent reviews, can't imagine a worse Costa Coffee shop anywhere to be honest. Wouldn't go again if they were giving their coffee away for feel, walked out feeling dirty and sick from the smelly toilet and it cost £15 for the whole unpleasant experience!!!

the ice wasn’t crushed enough in the mango and passion fruit cooler, the frostino was all over the place when arrived and spilled everywhere.

Drinks were still hot! But didn’t appreciate having a soaking wet bag handed to me and the Tea had spilt everywhere. No apology from the driver for this, he did not speak.

Quite simple order of a large hot chocolate to go! When I come to drink said hot chocolate what I find is steamed milk with some sort of flavour squirted into the milk!! Am out delivering so no time to return to shop!! Really great waste of nearly £4. If your staff can’t make the basics you really have no hope!!

Good for Coffee. My favourite is red summer berries fruit cooler. Food isn't amazing though

Absolutely disgusting. Cobwebs everywhere 🤮. Was asked if we wanted medium or large drinks only to be served with medium anyway and when I questioned it was told that's the biggest they do. Why not ask if we want medium or small then?
