My self and my family approx 10 people purchased some chips, The staff was currently rude and the service was appalling I will not recommend.

Came for breakfast on a sunny Saturday morning. There is parking out front but it gets very busy. The staff is very efficient so even though it was packed, we got our breakfast quickly. Bacon and sausage is excellent, really tasty. Beans, toast, hashbrowns all good. They don't do chips at breakfast. My wife said her bacon and egg roll was among the best she has ever had. Service was very friendly and fast.

Not the best of quality food used. Fish had no taste, chips ok. Tomato sauce watered down. Burger? That’s all you get no relish or salad in the bun. Basic food at quite high price for quality. Staff need to smile a little.

Call here occasionally for breakfast Stunning location right near the beautiful beach..if you get decent weather there are tables outdoors... The staff have always been very friendly and helpful, it is spotlessly clean throughout The breakfast is freshly cooked and always very tasty

Having visited this premise in Goulston many times during our childhood family holidays, my parents, husband and I decided to take a trip down memory lane before ending our long weekend in Yarmouth. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel welcome. My husband can be quite particular about his fry-ups, but both he and my dad were thoroughly impressed with their English breakfast. Each component was cooked to perfection. A great selection, even better pricing. My mum and I opted for bacon rolls, which were equally as good but we were left envious of not having picked the full breakfast, especially the fried bread! Overall, our visit to Marina Bay Café was a wonderful trip down memory lane with the added bonus of exceptional food. If you’re in the Yarmouth area we highly recommend stopping by this gem for a fantastic English breakfast.

Absolutely waste of money… customer service is absolute rubbish, I asked for food to be put in closed box as I was with my little one and said I don’t mind to pay for the box. The answer was a shocker- boxes for fish only… you can buy them, even her’s colleague next to her was in disbelief…. Quality of food is absolutely terrible, waste of money and time as well. Fell sick in the evening as well…

Worst English breakfast I've ever had. Coffee was good, that's why it's 2 stars, not 1.

Avoid at all cost!!! The worst fish and chips we have ever had. Tasteless, very dry chips which were heated up for at least second time. 2/3 of fish was very greasy batter which smelled of old oil. We chose cod but it was nothing like it. It was very flat and small piece of something very watery, probably quickly defrosted (being at the seaside, we were expecting fresh fish), not mention the horrible taste. We returned it as it was not edible but no one got interested why it happened. No one came to us to ask what was wrong so when we were leaving, we complained about it again but cook got crazy. He didn’t apologise at all. instead he started screaming that everything was fresh. He also didn’t let us finish any sentence, interrupting all the time with his raised voice: “Listen to me! Listen to me!” He brought the full bucket of fries in water and showed us what he was using. Mind you, it was 3.30 and they close at 4. There were no clients after us so I wonder who will be eating these soaked fries tomorrow!!! Horrible experience! We left not only hungry but angry as well!!! Refund was not even mentioned…

Nice cafe right on the seafront. Really nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. You can 'build' your own breakfast which is great! No vegetarian options but was still able to find something to eat.

An excellent BIG breakfast, sausages were to die for. Went xtra big and had beans AND tomatoes. Always a good meal.

Absolutely superb cafe run by very organised but very friendly staff. My wife and I had fish and chips and tea and coffee. The coffee was a good quality Italian Lavazza coffee. The tea was nice and the fish and chips was absolutely excellent. They also serve other no nonsense food like Jacket potatoes and fried breakfasts too. Lovely unpretentious cafe serving delicious food run by very helpful staff. A safe option for a decent meal at an affordable price. Recommended.

Lovely service, friendly staff and good food but absolutely awful ketchup. Covered my food in it to realise it was watered down cheap stuff that tasted awful. Ruined the whole meal. A good condiment can make or break a meal....this one was ruined by that nasty red liquid posing as ketchup.

This is a clean and friendly place, was able to take the dog inside with us. We both had haddock and chips which on the surface looked very good, however the batter although crunchy on the outside was thick and doughy on the inside, the fish did not taste terribly fresh either, shame. I think it's because it's fried from frozen and creates a lot of steam inside. Shame.

Pretty much what you would expect from somewhere like this. You can get most breakfast foods in any combination. The opening hours are very good. Staff are hard working and friendly. I would recommend it.

They do a good mug of proper coffee and that’s good enough for use. Very much a parkrunner favourite cafe and eatery..

Beautiful scenery, delicious meal, great customer service. I visited with my friend, and it was a warm reception from arrival, we made our orders, and we were served afterwards. I was going to order the all day breakfast but I wanted the harsh brown added to the meal, seeing that it was cost effective to have the big boys breakfast, where I would have everything included in the meal, I opted to give it a try, I enjoyed the meal, it was tasty, though I was so full at the end 🤣 as I took time to stand up 🤣 after eating. Nevertheless, I took a long walk down the beach and took loads of beautiful pictures 📸 while strolling, and the end it was a nice experience, and I would sure do it again 😀.

We popped in here due to the heavy rain today with my two dogs and family. We were informed the cafe was dog friendly so could sit outside or inside. You have to order at the counter, but food is served to you. We asked for the table to be cleaned, which staff did straightaway. I had jacket potatoes, cheese, and beans with a side salad for £6. My brother had fish n chips we he enjoyed. My mother had a bacon butty. The food was delicious. Reasonable pricing for the food and drinks. Only one toilet. Wheelchair friendly outside and a few tables inside near the entrance. They have a takeaway section to. Staff were friendly and approachable.

We have been to this cafe many times and have always found it great, but this visit I have to say the staff member who served me was not at all friendly and didn't smile once, as a person of a certain age she could see I struggled with the Google pay and I tried to make a joke of it but she just looked at me said nothing and made me feel very uncomfortable, not so sure I shall go back there now it's put me off.

Just had a wonderful Bacon&sausage in a roll both bacon and sausage tasted lovely washed down with a mug of milky coffee. With add views over the sea.

Went to gorlestone beach for a walk and stopped at the cafe for a breakfast was very busy with limited seating but we got a outside table (dogs) ordered 2 breakfasts they came promptly (quite a few staff working) to say it was busy very nice food and plenty of it! Worst fish and chips ever! Absolutely gross I would call it!!! Fish tasted old, batter was doughy & stodgy! Chips were under cooked and hard Total waste of money went straight in the bin!

Very tasty fish and chip. Had 2 cod and chips and then a children’s fish fingers and chips. With a tea and a bottle of water. It came to £32, so not the cheapest lunch in the world. However the fish was well cooked with crispy batter. The chips were perfectly cooked and tasty and it was a good sized plate of food.

Where to start Positive - busy day and we had quick service. Food was hot. Negative - Ketchup rank which spoiled everything else. Also the chips looked white and fish didn't taste right. It wasn't the cheapest but there isn't any competition so what do you expect. Missed part of the order but didn't realise until getting back to our beach spot. Definitely not going again... next time meal deal before we get to the beach I think.

The food. was good, but the service was a little slow. It's OK to sit in, but nothing special.

We sat outside as we had 2dogs, we sat at the far end, we now know why this table was vacant, the smell and the dripping water was making a puddle, before we worked out what was going on, one of our dogs lead down she was covered in the stuff, we had just arrived and still had another 2hours before we could get into our chalet to wash her down, we ended up using the dog drinking water, 5 sets of people move away from this area and went to another restaurant while we sat somewhere else, and it put us off our food

Excellent English breakfast, everything cooked as it should be, good portion size, sausages and bacon spot on and good value for money.

The cafe is in a great location and is exactly what you want from a beachside cafe. The food choice is classic cafe, with jacket potatoes, BLT, all-day breakfast, etc, and is presented nicely. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a toilet for customers inside. Inside is quite tight, with not much room for pushchairs and wheelchairs, but appears to be dog friendly, which is a bonus (assuming you like dogs). The main downside for me was the noise level. The combination of the music, conversation, and kitchen noise made it sound really loud, which I found a bit much. However, don't let that detract from the fact that it is a great little cafe in a good location, with free parking nearby.

We both had a roll which had bacon and egg in it, but the roll was a so doughy it stuck to the roof of my mouth.

Possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Thick soggy batter, tiny fish, filthy store, even the white salt shaker was thick with black muck, and scampi that looked like it was from a bush tucker trail. This time last year to the day they were lovely, now disgusting and all fed to the seagulls.

Very poor quality Haddock, batter was all doughy and not properly cooked, fish wasn’t properly cooked and tasted very old, also it had bones. Total waste of money as I didn’t eat it, chips was ok.

Great traditional cafe by the beach with plenty of indoor and outdoor scene does get extremely busy so would recommend getting there early as parking can sometimes be slightly difficult but the food staff were great is one of my local places to go to for a weekend day trip out even if just passing by 👍 to eat in all take away. Also they have a fish and chip shop which is really good quality as well forgot to mention. With a hidden little attraction around the corner a bit of banksy artwork which is above a bench great to get a little selfie as it's a claw machine ☺️

Cant rate this place highly enough and a star rating of 5 isn't enough probably one of the best cafes I have visited , 100% recommend visiting when anyone is in Gorleston-on-Sea , was very busy when visited and was told would be waiting a while but 5 all day breakfasts and 1 jacket potato arrived piping hot in less than 10 minutes

The cafe is in a lovely spot but I was very dissatisfied with my breakfast and my partners the meals came to our table I took one bite of the tomatoes they where stone cold I complained they took them away and came back they where just as bad I just had the good bits and left very dissatisfied

expensive for burnt food and takes absolutely ages also got beans instead of curry sauce

Very slow service, and under staffed

Went for a stroll along Marine Parade and ended up here. Chatting to a local who drives 5 miles past 3 other chippies so I thought I'd give the takeaway side a try. It was really busy despite it being 12 on a Monday, but it's worth the wait as everything is cooked fresh to order. The fish was fresh, well cooked with delicious batter and the chips were perfect. The staff are really busy but very polite and welcoming. Will definitely visit again.

It was the worse fish and chips I have ever had. The chips seemed dry and seemed like they had been hotted up. The fish was just batter and a small piece of fish, when I started on it the fish was not white but a horrible yellow colour YUK!! I went to complain, but the shutters were down, I went next day and explained how awful it was, and the manager could not have cared one bit..all he said was Sorry!! Well for £21, I think he could have said I will reimburse 1/2 for you, but he probably thinks most people are there for the day, so it does not matter...The only good think was the Seagulls enjoyed it. But I would advise people to go to Gorleston Town "My Plaice or Yours" it is so much cleaner and service is good, and the fishn n chips is lovely, fresh and hot. We did not go the day we bought at the seafront as it was shut...but will never go back to Marina Bay.

Oh you have to go here, not only a great area to visit, but the food here is so good. We ordered a big boy breakfast including mushrooms and hash Brown's, black pudding extra but so essential. None of us could finish, and others who came in looked at ours and just had to have the same. It's clean, food is very tasty.

Enjoyed a lovely bacon roll to take away with a very nice Italian Lavazza coffee, also we have had fish and chips inside and thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommended, there are toilets inside for customers only.

The coffee was definitely not the cappuccino I ordered. I did have a nice toasted teacake.

Well , want cod & chips and sausage in batter & chip, cod & chips came in a nice cardboard box , no problem but sausage chip and Gerking all wrap up individual , ask them why not put them all in one box like the fish & chips?? No !! Only for fish & chips! Great fun trying to eat & unwrapped all the sausage chip & gerking on the seafront!!! What a waste of packaging!! Fish & chips were nice , but sausages was a bit soggy!

Fantastic quality, lovely view of the beach

We always order takeaway battered sausages and chips from Marina Bay whenever we are at the seaside. Their battered fish is also excellent. It’s worth the wait because they’re making it fresh! They’ll wrap it for you if you want to walk along the seaside or you can sit and eat there. Honestly if you want more sauces or extra vinegar, etc just ask. They are all super friendly and will aim to please!

We stopped by for a quick bite to eat with our 2 dogs after a lovely walk along Gorleston Beach. We both had a sausage bap with a cup of tea, and the dogs had a sausage each. Portion size was plentiful, arrived quickly and tasted good. The dogs sausages came ready chopped up for them. Great little place, reflected by how busy it was, we will return.

A lovely little beach cafe selling the usual all day breakfast or breakfast related dishes and sandwiches. Order and pay at the counter. You will be given a number which is shouted when food is ready, acknowledge that the number is yours and food is brought to your table. We had a very tasty sausage sandwich and a mug of tea each for under £10 which I thought was excellent value. Parking is available outside. Dogs are allowed inside and there are a few tables outside too.

Very popular cafe with a beach view location. Really good value for price and the quality of food was superb. Accepting cards, parking nearby, dog friendly, eat in or takeaway, this really is a great place to visit and support. Seating inside and outside available Reccomended very much

My mum fancied fish and chips by the sea for her 76th birthday so we decided to eat here. Food was very nice but it was spoilt by a dog barking very loudly by us. We all love dogs so are happy that they are allowed inside but it was so shrill and went on to long so spoilt out meal. We were not the only people that were disappointed.

Visited this place on passing for a bite to eat but discovered a few difficulties. I got in the restaurant with help from a lovely lady as I am a wheelchair user but realised the seats are fixed so lady asked if I wanted to sit on end of a table. I did try but just could not get close enough to eat unfortunately. I was asked to maybe try outside same lady helped us out thank you but was a tad to cold to sit outside for me. We unfortunately left hungry but will try a take away maybe another time.

I was in the area thought would try for lunch was a tad windy and cold but was horrified to find no disabled access or accessible tables inside the restaurant at all. Was then told to sit outside but it was very cold and windy I am disgusted I am a disabled wheelchair user and they lady I spoke to was like maybe we could sort something when mentioned removing one bench seat inside and replacing with 2 single chairs she really didn't seem bothered .What happened to disabled people's rights and access ♿ NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY AT ALL AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Absolutely the best breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Lovely friendly staff. Quite busy which shows how good it is. Lavazza coffee machine. Would definitely recommend a visit. Beautiful view of the sea.

Very average fish and chips. Chips were strangely tasteless and chewy and the batter on the fish although nicely crispy had a strange appearance under the golden surface.

Nice post parkrun coffee & bacon bap. Really busy, but fast service. Only reason food is not 5 stars was the quality of ketchup. (Brown sauce was fab though)
