Yeh good in here. Nice beers. Closed very early though (Sunday 6pm🤔). Is it a pub, or a pub in disguise? Either way, definitely worth a visit.

I did some live music for these guys last night, and we all had a blast! 🤘 The bar is stocked with whatever you need for beers, wines and spirits (which also includes guest ales), and the pub frequently plays host to external food companies, such as last night's visitors Fold Me Close Pizza. The pub also features an assortment of classic pub entertainment such as quizzes and open mic nights. The locals are all big characters who love a good party. Here's to many more wild nights of live music at The Albion! 🤠🎸

My partner and I called in on Sunday 16/01/2022 at about 4pm Inside - we stood by the bar and waited for the barman to finish serving someone in the other bar. We heard a lot of swearing with no attempt by the barman to ask the swearers to be quiet. After some time the barman came back from the other bar, moaned to a couple at the bar and swore about the other customers, then poured out some beer. At no time did this rather arrogant Barman even acknowledge our presence. After 5 minute standing at the bar like lemons we decided to go. Even when we walked out this rude chap didn't say a word. Safe to say, I would give this dump a wide berth, whoever was serving up beer on Sunday needs a few lessons in manners, customer retention and how to talk to potential customers. There are lots of other pubs that are happy to get our trade and would make people feel welcome. I don't know who the owners of the Albion are, but they need to get rid of the clown from Sunday as soon as possible. He is not an asset.

It’s always had a fantastic range of real ales, now sadly down to 9 in COVID times, always stunning well cellared. It’s not got great ventilation, as some **** painted the windows shut, but it’s clean and open enough to feel safe and the beer makes up for it. (As does the pub dog.)

I love this pub because it has a great choice of real ales it has no loud music and no TVs or machines to distract its customers,it’s a proper wet pub but recently I have noticed the place is looking really grubby and dirty there have been cobwebs in the same place for weeks, but this last time I was there in between Xmas and new year I took some relatives there for a drink I was really disappointed in the place and in fact embarrassed I took them there after telling them how good it was, first of all a note on the door said they were not excepting bank cards as the machine was not working but that was fine for us as we all had cash, but then we were told there was no draught lagers or any bottled available, the place looked absolutely filthy rubbish everywhere on both sides of the bar no heating on at all and it was quite chilly and then the last straw was some of our glasses were filthy, this is not acceptable I don’t know what’s going on lately but it needs to be sorted out before it goes down pan

What a lovely gem of a pub. Very friendly pub in a lovely little Bedfordshire village! We were here today for a Sunday roast and after eating out at more expensive restaurants in the area and being disappointed by their high prices and average food, this was on another level, it was beautiful!! Everything was freshly cooked and home mad at a very reasonable price. Shall definitely be returning.😁

This place could be amazing but it is lacking atmosphere and the food is very ordinary. It needs a total overhaul. Everything feels dated and they need to look at other restaurants/brasseries in other area. It always seems half empty. Wouldn't go back again.

The staff were pleasant and the food was fine but oh so slow! From the time we arrived we were waiting at every stage. Waiting to be seated, there was no one in sight. Eventually we were shown to our seats and waited again for someone to take our order, waited again and, after being there over 30 minutes, our tea and coffee arrived, but no milk. The coffee was fine but the tea wasn’t hot, but drinkable as long as I drank it straight down. Another long wait for sandwiches and again a wait for cakes. I would have preferred everything to arrive at once so that I could decide how long to take to eat them. As it was we were there over 2 hours and I was bored. I would hate to be there if it was full as today less than half the tables were taken. Not the best experience of afternoon tea I’m afraid.

Stopped in for a tea, coffee and scone for the first time this weekend as we happened to drive past. It was all lovely and reasonably priced. However it is disappointing that a venue in such a prime countryside location doesn’t at least allow dogs inside somewhere. I imagine their foot traffic would increase substantially if dog walkers could come in for a post/pre walk refreshment.
