The Picture House in Central Bedfordshire

So i can't really review the picture house because they I.D every one, I am nearly 40 years old and I look my age, My partner who is a similar age also and we have 2 kids, I looked older than the guy on the door, It looked quiet inside also and that's probably because allot of other people didn't have there I.D on them also. So it may be a good place, but because i couldn't get in, i dont know. My point is to make sure you bring your I.D. even if you are 60 years old.

Very polite staff. Helpful. Problems are no problems.

Every-time I visit this pub, I’m always greeted by staff who always are smiling! The environment is always relaxed, clean and staff will always go the extra mile! They offer a wide variety of lagers and food is always top notch! They cater for people with dietary requirements/allergies and you don’t tend to see much of this nowadays. If you want service with a smile here, you’re definitely coming to the right place! Reasonable prices!

Honestly such a lovely place, especially Rebecca and the rest of the staff are so lovely, the food drinks and prices you just can’t go wrong, definitely will be returning!

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. It’s a nice quiet place with delicious food that I love to come with friends and family. Would definitely recommend to people with families or people who want to have a good time.

Not terrible, not special either. Food the same. Steak was not terrible, but it also sure wasn't medium rare.

Place is always a laugh. Quiet or busy staff are very friendly and helpful. Rebecca’s always had me laughing when I have been in there and a couple other who are brilliant are Jake and hunter!

Great service by Ellie. Good atmosphere and plenty of sport on to keep you entertained. Food was unbeatable. Shannon in the kitchen always goes above and beyond to help with Mr being a fussy eater.

Great place to visit for lunch or dinner. Staff always welcoming and happy to help. Food is always cooked well and brought to us in an acceptable time with Dietary requirements always met and we have never had any issues.

Great venue in Leighton Buzzard. And great food & ales too.

Came in over the weekend to watch some football and I have to say Ellie was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and made sure our food was cooked just as we like it, she even went the extra step and entertained our daughter a couple of times on her travels around the venue. Drinks are not too pricey and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails too, definitely will be coming back due to the service she provided to our table!

Ordered BBQ chicken jacket potato, jacket potato was hot but still hard like it hadn't left in the microwave long enough and the portion on top was tiny. So unfortunately 1 star is what I can give.

I've come here often for lunches and dinners or a quiet drink with friends and family, its a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, the food is delicious and they have a great range of alcoholic and non alcohol drink options to keep everyone included. Very clean and well maintained with friendly, attentive staff. Will always recommend for a great time out.

Came here first time. Nice place inside. Food tasted good but my stake was a little too weldone. Latte tasted great. My wife enjoyed her chicken and cheese baguette. My main critic is it too took a bit long to receive our food and it wasn't that busy. I will return as the food tasted good and hopefully will receive food a bit quicker.

Don't know what's happened in here but food was cold, burnt and disgusting. When I tried to speak with the manager we was met with rude and bluntness. Have ate in here for 18 years but after this experience I would never set foot in this place again.

Avoid this dreadfull place,! Rude unhelpful manager who will argue with you and lie when you mention food was not good or as described. We will Never go back again .

Very miserable staff lady behind the bar had an attitude and the manager rude and very argumentative when politely questioned on the food not being great ie burnt and not as described. We went here on an early Friday evening for dinner. The service was friendly and the food was good for the price. The ladies rest room could be better though. Out of 5 toilets one was out of order, one didn't flush and two were missing toilet seats. Not an issue when it's quiet but I can imagine it's not ideal when it's busy. Would visit again.

Busy today due to bookings and May Day festival! But food arrived hot and exactly as it says on the menu! Cheap and cheerful , staff were working hard. Could have done with a side salad on my burger and chips 🍟

Me and My partner came for bottomless brunch and it was lovely. We was looked after by the staff. ( Jade, Lewis and Sophie ) made us feel so welcomed, would definitely recommend coming here to whomever is thinking about it.

A place of homage to anyone in need of sports coverage, beer and fast food (burgers and wings are the go to). Always greeted with a smile and always feel welcome. Great service, good beer, good food - excellent selection of sports/screens to view. This has a special place in many peoples’ hearts.

Went to this pub some staff was friendly and one was very rude always looks miserable and looks like she has a attitude problem and hardly any service skills .

Service from the team is always amazing! Staff are all friendly and service is always accompanied by a smile. The food is always superb, my favourite dish from this place has got to be the Katsu Chicken, always tastes amazing and is always piping hot! The staff always go above and beyond and always check how everything is with the food. The environment is always clean and tidy and when in here I am comfortable in the pubs relaxed atmosphere. Always a wide variety of Gins, Spirits and draught beers available.

I was visiting my daughter and grandchildren and decidedto go out to eat, 12 of us decended on the Picture House Leighton Buzzard. A warm welcome and fantastic service from Abi behind the bar Excellent food cooked by Shannon, who was on her own in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

These guys do a nice pint of lager and ale on the right day. Despite having 5 odd ale taps however, only two max seem to be on. Usually I miss out on a good one. I did find their London pride to be almost at draught lager temperature which ruined the taste for me. Did try scrum down by tring a few days later which was incredible! As for food, I’ve eaten here once and I’d say the food is decent! I ordered a 10oz steak with chips, rings, peas and a tomato. The food came out very fast, piping hot and delicious. Well worth a stop here for a quick lunch/meal out for sure!

I came to the picture house with my family for some dinner. The picture house has an amazing variety of food including burgers, small plates and also many favourites including fish and chips! The pub also have a good selection of drinks for all the family. Definitely recommend for a family evening out.

In the gastronomic arena, my taste buds engaged in tussle with the croquettes – a crisp, armored fortress housing a treasure trove of hot, cheesy, and meaty splendor. The addition of Doritos on the outer battlements was a flavorful coup de grâce that delighted my senses. Yet, in my discerning palate's scrutiny, a tad of grease clung to the culinary warriors. As I reveled in the spectacle of libations and bites, a smile in service would have elevated this epicurean odyssey. The Picture House stands as a coliseum of potential, a public house where sports events unfurl on a tapestry of screens, offering a plethora of libations and diversions like a pool table and dart board – just remember to bring your own spears, for this house does not provide them.

We were looking for a place very last minute to watch a certain Sport match... and this spot did not disappoint! The atmosphere was great, Customer Services great, Drinks were reasonably price and our team won the game!! haha If you are looking for a great night out - this is the place!

Great Xmas lunch experience. The food was good and served hot and attractively presented. Staff were efficient and friendly, so there were no problems for the 12 guests present. Excellent value for a 3 course Xmas lunch with all the trimmings at under £20 a head, and the drinks were not overpriced either. Best value in Leighton Buzzard as far as I'm concerned.

A lot of menu was missing due to a fridge problem, so I did not dine. The drinks were reasonably priced and everywhere was nice and clean, including the wc's. Bar staff were polite. Televisions on display for sport. It appears to be a good place to bring young kids.

Lovely open room with lots of tvs for watching the football. Staff were very helpful and kind, especially a young lad by the name of will gray. I would wholeheartedly recommend this pub to anybody.

Had a fantastic evening at this venue, definitely will be going back due to the great food, brilliant atmosphere and the welcoming staff members, specifically a young lad called will. Fantastic service from Hunter and Jesse. The Latte for my nan was amazing and she said it was better than Costa and Cafe Nero! I had the Cheese and Bacon Burger as it was on the meal deal for the day. The Burger was better than the local Chicken shops as not as greasy, and Luke in the Kitchen ensured I would enjoy it even with being a very picky eater. The biscoff Sunday was to die for and will definitely be having again when I visit.

Had a memorable night on Tuesday pool night with a full roast dinner provided without cost for both teams. Perfectly cooked and without doubt most appreciated. Excellent service by I believe a young lady called Becca and many thanks to Matt and your staff for catering so well for both teams .

A group of us meet regularly during the day 3 times a weekend ( all welcome) for knitting/crafting and tea, coffee or something stronger 🙂we find the staff to be helpful, welcoming and friendly. We always have our Christmas lunch here, and it’s great value for money and the staff look after us very well. A book group also meets monthly, staff always reserve tables for us. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else

I had a great time visiting the Picture House, Decent atmosphere for the opening game of the premier league. The bartender Will was extremely helpful in helping and getting our drinks and food and made our experience a much more pleasant one. Would definitely recommend

I used to drink in picture house when I was younger and haven’t been in ages. Went to the bar where Katie served my drink with a massive smile friendly as hell and instantly made me feel like I never left speaking about previous night...

Came here for dinner with my sister was really nice, staff were super pleasant and professional..... management seemed to lead the team from the front which was nice to see. Often managers hide away. Sport was on all the major screens but they were showing...

Usually quite good but some food not available and with 5 real ales only 2 available. Doom bar was not good. Changed to pride but needed 2 pints to get one. . Staff said "best I can do without wasting another pint! Why is it my problem? Food was not good.
