Si estás por la zona es un sitio genial para un brunch o almuerzo. Es un sitio muy normalito, pero nunca defrauda: siempre abierto, siempre sirviendo cosas ricas y un servicio constante y bueno. Vamos con los 4 temas de siempre! - local: está decorado muy rollo “Warehouse”, una cosa sin mucha floritura pero muy espacioso, genial para distancia social. - comida: muy rica. Nosotros sólo hemos ido de brunch, y sirven los brunch típicos, súper flexibles con cambios y alergias. - servicio: muy amables. Siempre atentos, flexibles y cercanos. La comida viene súper rápido. - calidad precio: para lo que se despacha en Olimpic Village, muy bien y normal. 2 brunches con bebida caliente para dos unos £23, lo normal. Gracias equipo Vangaard!

Very nice roast dinner, good service and good environment. Portion size for the roast for both kids and adults could be a bit more generous but it was very tasty!

Can't say this is a place anyone would want to spend time at. Aside from the broken toilets and disregard to cleanliness the staff and pricing are quite peculiar. For example a cup of tea is £2, add a bit more water (in the form of a pot) and they want £4. No extra teabags just double the price for extra water. Not that they were able to get the tea order right or answer why they wanted to charge so much. Given the variety and choice of cafes in Stockport this is really one that can be avoided without any misgivings.

Lovely view, I was told to sit before I could be served, so I asked a gentleman who was sat at a table for four if he minded if I sat there, he said that I was welcome, but still no one served me. After a lady was given two coffee’s on next table next to me I pointed out that I was still waiting ( she came in after me ) she said that she was waiting for her husband to come. I pointed out that I was actually here . I was eventually given a coffee but with an attitude like that they don’t deserve customers. I didn’t expect a red carpet, but I didn’t expect to have to ask three times, and be served so begrudgingly It’s a good job there is a good view, they have nothing else to commend them.

Great experience. Service very good. Food was excellent we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Great prices what’s not to like. Varied menu I took ages choosing as it was all so tempting.

Went in to do some shopping with my mum and we visited the café . e had a sausage and bacon buttie. We were served by Alicia who is a lovely polite young lady and Shania Silker cooked the breakfast and it was great, always is in here

The food is good here but unfortunately that is all. The service is horrendous and really lets it down. Staff are ridiculously slow to clear tables and in particular to take orders. On several occasions we called in on a Sunday morning for breakfast and were met by a lengthy queue but when we got to the counter on time to place our order before 12 noon, waitress debated whether to plqce the order at 11:57 and then decided not to so we had to order from the lunch menu instead and we were told 12 was the cut off point for placing a breakfast order despite still being early. We called today at 11:47 to order breakfast and a different waitress told us that the breakfast menu was now finished because the kitchen was backed up and had finished at 11:45 today. Not good enough when we travelled a distance to get there on time. I politely informed her that we had been told 12 noon was the last order time to which she just said we could place an order from the lunch menu but she couldn’t do that until it was 12pm. (So we would have had to stand there and wait for another 15 mins. ) Clearly Waves struggle with handling orders. Due to poor service and inconsistencies, this place is not worth the visit. There are better options with better service that is more deserving of your customer elsewhere. Won’t be back!

I took my parents here for dinner on a Friday night and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. It's also the perfect place to take a dog, which is a bonus for us. I highly recommend this place. 10/10

Pequeño y encantador entorno querky con buena comida. Buenos precios también. El personal no es excelente, pero no está nada mal. Mis amigos y yo fuimos insinuados para irnos ya que el restaurante cerraba durante el día. Estábamos un poco confundidos, pero luego mi amigo dijo que probablemente querrían que nos fuéramos tirando de su configuración de afuera hacia adentro y cerrando las persianas, pero eso es menor ya que no sabíamos su hora de cierre antes de que pudieran abrir nuevamente en el noche. Volvería otra vez teniendo en cuenta sus horarios de cierre?

Tuvimos el almuerzo del domingo - 3 adultos y 3 niños, y honestamente puedo decir que fue la mejor cena asada que he comido. La carne era tan delicioso y tierno - nada como los almuerzos normales pub, mucho mejor, y me gustaría saber cómo cocinaron la col saboya ya que podría haber sido una comida por sí solo, y en cuanto a las patatas asadas y pudines Yorkshire - todo, incluyendo postres y comidas infantiles era de primera categoría gracias! .

We went often to "The Bistro", always with our little dog (westie) like to every pub or reataurant we go. Most of the times outside, but sometimes (at least two times) inside and the dog was not a problem. Today we were refused inside, because the rule would be "no dog inside", but this is a lie because we have been there with the dog under the table at previous occasions. We reminded them about the previous situations, but they confirmed, that their "rules" do not accept dogs inside. There are in fact arbirary rules, applied when they decide according to the client look or to their mood. This is not acceptable, and the so-called rule is not written anywhere to make the customers aware of this. We won't go to this place anymore.

Comí aquí 3 veces ya que me alojé en el Eccleston Square Hotel. El bistrot es un lugar muy pequeño en el hotel y probablemente no ir allí, si no me hospedé en el hotel. Pero ii es agradable aquí. manteles blancos, lámparas de araña, moderno y elegante ambiente. Buen gusto por la música. La primera vez que me los mejillones en salsa de vino blanco con patatas fritas. Delicioso. Además, encontrará el mejor vino en su menú. La segunda vez que su hamburguesa de la firma. Delicioso. Así que me fui para la hamburguesa ya que estaba allí la tercera vez. Éramos un grupo de 8, no hay otros huéspedes. Y por desgracia la experiencia fue realmente a olvidar. No sé qué pasaba. Pero realmente todo lo malo que podría ser hecho mal. El camarero era en realidad un servicio, ya nos dijo, porque el camarero no estaba disponible. Él hizo lo mejor que pudo pero era bastante ni idea. Como era el chef.
