Tesco - Costa Coffee in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Me and my Mother came here for a coffee, from the Costa section, and goodness me, it was amazing. Firstly, the member of staff who served us was so welcoming, his name was James, and he made sure to make everyone feel welcome in his restaurant. Furthermore, the food was great, the service was sports, and the views were breathtaking. Thanks for the awesome time! P.S. I’m writing this months lat and in April 2022, so I’m sorry if I got any information wrong!

Ordered gingerbread latte - should have had gingerbread man - wasn’t sure but couldn’t ask because the girl had gone on her break in a hurry. Also wanted Turkey Toastie but there was practically nothing there - shelves were bare. When I got back to the car my friend was not happy. Shouldn’t have had to ask for gingerbread man - they should have asked me. As for lunch - somebody doesn’t have a clue about ordering the right quantities of sandwiches etc. It was barely 12:00. Will be going to #Hayle in future.

This Costa at Tesco must have one of the best views looking towards Carbis Bay and the cornish coast. Service was good, staff brought our drinks to the table not just our drinks which we thought was a nice touch.

Popped in for coffees on a couple of occasions during a holiday stay nearby. Friendly helpful young staff. Coffees and cake very good, as expected.

Recent visit to newly opened Costa at Tesco carbis bay. Staff very very good. But Just need to be a more covid aware. Ie when customers leave table, tables where not getting Sanitized before next customer sat there.

Visited with myself and a toddler, staff where so friendly and beyond helpful with a toddler who enjoys running away! You offered him a free flake with a baby chino! Cannot thank them enough for being so kind the little monkey!! 😂

Filthy today, I come weekly and the cleanliness has been dropping, Tables filthy, all sticky, not wiped all day I don't think. Hayley standing round talking all the while I was in, not crowded, time to wipe tables crumbs on tables, windows inside and out absolutely filthy. This place needs an update. Feels like your sitting inside a filthy germ, floor not good, but at least young male worker was trying. Some staff far far better than others.

One of my favourite Costa's, only wished we lived closer. Though its small, it must have one of the best views of any Costa's in England. Today I had the best cappuccino ever ,thanks to the lovely Hayley - it was perfection. Costa should be proud of their St Ives staff, - I would be.

A small Costa , but one which has great views in the distance of the sea and surrounding coast line, particularly on a clean sunny day. Quite a few locals use it and are all know by the staff. Premises are clean and the staff cleared the tables as soon as they could. Took my own insulated cups so that we could take our drinks with us as we commenced our journey ‘up North’, and we received 25p discount per drink. A nice tasting coffee.

Fore what it is ( a cafe within a supermarket) it really is very good. How many others I wonder can boast a view overlooking the sea? Comfortable seating including sofas. Pleasant staff and coffee's good.

We visited here twice. It’s located just inside Tesco and was our first coffee of the morning. Staff were very pleasant, seating inside only, Tables clean and tidy. The cappuccinos were nice and hot and are reasonably priced. A great place to refresh yourself before starting to shop!

A large group of us took a lunch time snack after a long journey from Leicestershire at this Costa Coffee and we felt very relaxed being there. We were served nicely and left to get on with our refreshments even though we must have been a bit loud and messy. And the food was nice.

Always serves good coffee with an extra smile. Always clean and tidy, with just the BEST view of any Costa I've ever been to.

Staying in St.Ives, still need a Costa 'fix' so popped into the Costa Coffee in Tesco, coffee always good, but view from their windows amazing! Overlooking Carbis Bay, beaches and ocean for miles, must be one of the best views from a Costa Coffee Shop!

Again were we stayed in Carbis Bay Area this Tesco is very popular as it's the only one local, but as You all probably know there is an abundance of Choice and obviously a lot cheaper than local convenience shopping, there is a Costa area but not much to say really it's just a cafe added on to the Tesco.

Echt zu empfehlen. Das Land der Teetrinker kann auch guten Kaffee machen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Ketten werden hier die Tassen bis zum Rand voll gemacht. Wer noch ein Teilchen zum Kaffee braucht, findet hier auch sicher was. Sehr netter und freundlicher Service.

We had a couple of visits when we were staying in the vicinity for a few days. On both times the coffees we ordered were made with care and an eye for detail that seems to be lacking in the majority of the barista s in the chain

Whether you are a coffee lover or not, or even whether you need anything from Tesco, this cafe has the most amazing views over Carbis Bay and St Ives! So get a cuppa and gaze out of the window...

Good coffee, usual costa snacks like shortbread. Easy parking as a big car park for Tesco. Lovely view of the beach.

I think we had bad luck as we normally enjoy our coffees and lunches here. This time the service was poor. We were greeted and then ignored for almost ten minutes whilst the member of staff chatted to her co-server and the delivery man. She eventually turned back to ask what we wanted.

I came here for a coffee whilst waiting for a taxi to take me back to St Ives with my shopping. Had a very nice Latte Coffee in comfortable surroundings with a nice view.

Our rental for the week happened to only be a couple blocks away from this store. It made it perfect for stocking up for the week. Ample choices to choose from, including ready cooked meals. Lots to pick from for alcohol needs also. Was even able to pick up some toys for our new grandson.

All that you can expect from Costa, with views over Carbis Bay and St Ives whilst you drink your coffee. Usual good service and range of products. (With no extra charge for the view). Beautiful!

It's a Costa, it's in Tesco. That's about all you need to know for starters. But, the staff are so friendly and chatty, and the view over to Godrevy Light is stunning (when it's not raining or foggy!!). It's worth stopping by before you do your shop.

Simple great place but travelling around the country one of my favorites.. friendly and helpful staff who take that little extra time...

It's the perfect place to rendezvous with unbeatable Costa Coffee. Although the seating area is small there always seems to be room for someone else.

Went for a coffee and recieved excellent service from one barista(called James). I ordered a large cinnamon latte over ice to go (I actually got a large hot cinnamon latte, but despite it was very hot outside, I was very thirsty so I didn't care!).

Good Costa usual fayre with good service, but what makes this so different is the stunning views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and Hayle sands. I defy anyone to know a Costa with a better view.

I was having a lovely day in St. Ives, but we needed to go to Tesco for something. I already knew there was a Costa here. Really, it was just like any other of their shops, but this particular one had an amazing view to Carbis Bay Beach.

We come here regularly and there is always happy staff, great service, amazing coffee and beautiful views. What's not to like? We will be back

You can sit in the cafe drink your coffee or tea and enjoy the view, it's only a small cafe but the coffee is great.

Huge windows overlooking Carbis Bay plus great Costa coffee and friendly smiley staff, what's not to like?!

We Always visit this Tesco and pop in to Costa for a drink. Coffee is great and if you take a look out you get a great view of the sea. Will be back very soon.

Visited while on Holiday in St Ives- the service was quick and the Manager was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. It seemed a little dated but had a wonderful view of the sea- I would recommend!

We went in here while on holiday last week. It is quite small and was very busy but the lady who was manager was so helpful and friendly. She was busy trying to get everyone a table who wanted one and have the place a really personal friendly feel that I have never felt in a Costa before. Felt more like a local coffee shop. Would definitely recommend.
