The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other cuisines food

Decided to give the pub an other try as heard it’s recently been taken over and refurbed. It did not disappoint. The decor is tasteful. The food was the best I’ve had there. I ordered the burger and my friend the steak. Both of which were delicious, well cooked and reasonably priced. Didn’t book and were immediately sat down, service was great. I would had given 5 stars but the cherry Bakewell desert which sounded delicious was in fact a dried bit of Bakewell a few dried almond scattered on with poor quality vanilla ice cream. I don’t usually have desert but it sounded so nice - Will skip this next time. Well worth a visit.

The baguettes have increased in price enormously and they have 'made them thinner and smaller' ........ridiculous! You can do one or the other but not both !... for my money. Unfortunately I get these for free for CPD and it still annoys me

Was quite disappointed, food was just warm not overly hot, felt that there was something missing, ordered steak sandwich and partner ordered the sizzler which he asked for spicy but came stick and sweet. For the price of the food I food expensive.

Very disappointed, the 4 of us were there for a Birthday celebration. Despite my colleague booking the table in advance (12.30 to 14.30) we had to wait to be seated. It took another 20 minutes for our food to arrive & then we were asked to move tables at 14.00 because someone else had booked our table. To add insult to injury we were then asked to move again (for the same reason) at 14.20! We were informed we would be given a discount but when we approached the check out, the manager had other ideas & tried to fob us off with extra cakes. We finally received a 10% discount, which amounted to ten pounds between the 4 of us. Not an enjoyable experience & not good business practice. We will not be returning.

I called in after a cycle, it was 4.50 pm and almost closing time , the two girls Rhiannon and Katie were pleasant and helpful, even though it was 10 minutes to close they made us coffee without any fuzz, could easily said sorry we’re closing and we’d have went elsewhere but it was no trouble and Rhiannon happily chatted as she made the coffees . The coffee and carrot cake was gorgeous as well, both these girls are a credit and an asset to your company. Will return just for the pleasant way we were served , thank you Rhiannon and Katie 😊

Just had a fantastic meal 😋 Cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced.

Baytree Hilgay provided some excellent friendly and attentive service on a hot Friday afternoon and came through with an excellent and generous ploughmans which was just right for the two of us. Loved the enthusiasm and charm which served to erase much of the memory of a walk around Wisbech.

I ordered a sausage sandwich - it was awful I was so hungry I ate it but regret it now. Very very disappointed dry bread dry sausages hardly a scraping of butter all for £8.75 :( it’s left a horrid taste in my mouth :( Hardly justifiable for £8.75 … not acceptable standard and regret not taking it back for a refund. I’ve eaten here previously a few times and have always been very happy with the food and service - sadly today has made me think twice about coming in the future.

Not as good a pub as before it was done out then it had a charm and space and lot more comfortable

The food and drink were incredible but the best part of our experience was our waitress Liv - she was chatty, attentive and welcoming. We will return just for her service

We arrived at S&L wanting to do a bottomless brunch but we hadn't booked. We went online and booked last minute and the team accommodated us brilliantly. Kyle went above and beyond! Great knowledge on the menu and drink choices and very prompt service! Thanks Kyle!

Delicious food, however I am vegetarian and my brother ordered a meat bagel and the person serving us made his first handling all the different meats but didn’t change their gloves to make mine, I didn’t say anything at the time because I felt too awkward and I didn’t think it would taste like meat too much however I just wanted to flag it because for people with allergens or more strict vegetarians it’s not great, think it’s best to make the veggie ones first then change gloves :) thanks!

Great spot looking over South beach. Eaten here a couple of times now, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. They are also fully licensed. Lots of tables, inside and out. Dog friendly, but they also have an area for those who prefer no dogs. It has always been spotlessly clean, including the toilets, which have plenty of cubicles available. It's one of my favourite spots where you can enjoy a meal or just a coffee and cake, or refreshments, and take in the lovely views.
