Christmas Dinner extravaganza!! Outstanding, from booking until leaving!! The waiting staff were absolutely incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Our food intolerance’s and allergies were taken into serious consideration and checked on at all times. The food was outstanding fresh, hot, plentiful, well presented and delicious. Such good value for money as three courses were £27.50 and the wine selection although small was incredible and our decision of cotes du rhone was exquisite. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with delightful Christmas ambience and background music was very fitting . We cannot wait to return for when they hold another evening event hopefully something will be planned soon, we will be looking out for it! Well done to Lauren and her team!!

Wow what a lovely place. We stopped off here for breakfast while travelling to Bristol. The cafe was lovely and clean with really welcoming staff. The food was locally produced and was top quality. Loved the little pot of jam that came with our toast and full English breakfast. This is just off the M4 at Ridgeway, Swindon . Perfect place to stop. Popped in to the farm shop which also sold lots of lovely local products. Had to buy a lardy cake and some chutney ! 😊 Would highly recommend this lovely place.

I visited the Three Trees 2 weeks ago to meet a friend for lunch. I have been here many times and always had a great experience til now. It was a beautiful day so I sat outside and waited for my friend who was stuck in traffic coming from Marlborough. I ordered a coffee while I waited. Then eventually my friend arrived and we ordered lunch which was really nice. We had so much to catch up on and then we left to go to the Farmshop where we spent more money. Then a few days ago I had a nasty surprise arrive, a parking fine for £100 because I overstayed by 30 minutes. It is reduced to £60 if you pay within 14 days. I feel very upset as a genuine oversight on the 3 hour time limit slipped my mind. Sadly I will think twice now before visiting here again. 😔

We’ve eaten breakfast here a few times and it never disappoints. The sausages are just perfect, really meaty and well seasoned. The rest is great, even the toast is served hot. Great service, always accompanied by a smile. Good value too, with plenty of parking.

I love this place. The breakfast is wonderful, probably the best sausages I’ve ever had. No screaming kids running about. It’s a calm environment, even with the bustle of a busy cafe, there is peace. There’s a nice walk along the path behind that goes all the way to, I believe, Marlborough. Bonus: Dog friendly.

A queue 10 minutes before it opens tells you something! Staying in the area we wanted a really lovely breakfast and the queue outside the Farm Shop Café suggested it would be. It was! Tasty, promptly served and courteous staff. Highly recommended as also the farm shop itself.

I have to say with such a marvelous farm shop and delicatessen in the same complex, breakfast was absolutely dismal. I had a farmhouse breakfast, the beans were barely warm, the sausage was a rubbery think that had more than obviously been pre-cooked and heated up, as with the bacon, hard and semi warm. The hash brown was a small triangle of seriously processed food, the fried egg was good and had been freshly cooked. How difficult is it actually to cook a fresh breakfast ? Since the re-vamp, the place has really gone downhill, you need to begin paying a little more attention and think about cooking a fresh breakfast rather than a re-heated affair.

Certainly a very popular place to go and I would highly recommend booking a table for your visit. The breakfast was good but not great. The skin on the sausage was tough and difficult to cut with the knife provided. No mushrooms as standard. The butter, which came with the toast, was so warmed up that it poured out of its packet and made a mess on hands. I've enjoyed better breakfasts elsewhere. Service was adequate but not speedy!

Food was of good quality. Cooked promptly and nice and hot with good coffee. Did think that £37.00 for breakfast and 2 coffees was very expensive. Lots of staff there but not sure if they had had bad news but not one smile the whole time I was there and one person kept pacing up and down by the table. I am generally quite generous with a tip but this place definitely didn’t deserve one. Good food but won’t return.

We have been visiting this shop and cafe, both the original and the new building, for lunch every so often for some time as not far from home. Always excellent service and brilliant food, never disappointed. Can get crowded towards end of week so booking advised. Latest visit 27-9-23, ham, egg and chips, beautiful ham, loads of chips, lovely eggs and salad and short waiting time. Great coffee too. Visited in August with neice and young children, no problem. Outdoor seating if wanted. Farm shop adjacent selling smaller cottage business foods and other products, not supermarket stuff. Well worth a visit. Plenty of parking and several charging points. Worth diverting for a break if on M4 as only a few minutes drive from Junction 16 on road to Marlborough, last building on the right as you pass Chiseldon. Highly recommended. Three hours free parking, plenty for most people.

We haven't been here for a few years, certainly not since the new cafe build. We liked the old one. I appreciate the owners' reasons for charging for parking (although not for customers) but it does create a very unfriendly initial vibe. We both ordered ham, egg and chips and it was absolutely delicious - the best HEC we've ever had. The ham was thick and yummy. The order was taken quickly and the food arrived in ten minutes. The problem was that the cafe itself is basic and chilly (aircon) and very, very loud: everyone was yelling at each other so we joined in. All these voices and young children's screeches bounce round the cafe's hard surfaces. It was very unpleasant. In a way I don't mind that: there have to be places for parents and children to relax; after all, we did plenty of that ourselves. The problem is that the prices are high for this sort of ambience. I don't mind paying £15 for HEC in a good pub, but not in a 'gobble and go' cafe. The staff were efficient and friendly and the place was certainly lively, but I don't think we'll be back. Sorry Three Trees.

I'd been tipped off by a friend that this place, just off the M4 at junction 15, was much nicer than the services for a quick break from driving on a long journey. It is ideal for that. Clean toilets and cafe. Green outdoor area with picnic tables and nice views. Interesting farm shop with eco gifts and greeting cards as well as food stuffs, so good for a mooch round whilst stretching the legs. I was alarmed on arrival to see that you had to pay for parking, but if you enter your car registration number into the machine at the cafe entrance you can then park free for 3 hours. The coffee and cake was very nice, albeit rather pricey - £3.70 for a latte with oat milk which is more than I pay at home in Surrey! The customer service in the farm shop was outstanding. The lady on the till was very friendly and chatty despite it being at the end of the day just before they closed and the whole ambiance in there was very welcoming.

An amazing Farm shop with fabulous cafe. We had Welsh rarebit and the portions were huge and the food was hot and VERY tasty. Great service and very friendly staff. Will be back again very soon. Thank you Three Trees for making us feel special.

Food was good when it eventually came. It was not overly busy but there was a 30 minute wait for food sign on the counter (our soup and sandwich took over 30 minutes). Here's what is wrong with the place; The staff aren't welcoming, they...

Very nice venue - plenty of parking, very nice staff and decent coffee (Oh and toasted tea cakes). It’s always busy, which demonstrates how good it is. Throughly recommended, already planning another visit.

I’m a sucker for a farm shop so couldn’t resist trying this after picking my boyfriend up from his very long run. Delivered everything we needed. Food arrived in about 20 mins. Not fast but not slow considering they were busy and it’s all cooked...

I normally have a lovely experience,i am used to the lovely focused staff and incredible drinks however, the staff that was serving on the 4th of june were unfocused, chatting to each other which left me and other customers waiting for about 10 mins, took them ages to make as they were chatting and gossiping! i normally don’t like writing reviews but felt this was necessary:/ photo is supposed to be a mint choc chip frostino 🤦♀️

We fancied a change from the hotel restaurant and the menu the Freke Arms offered had plenty of gluten-free options as well. We booked and received a message back quickly confirming the booking. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table promptly. Menu options were explained clearly and there were several specials on offer. The food we received was plentiful and very tasty indeed and the beer and wine were delicious. All the staff were friendly and we had a good chat about the pub as it had a bit of history. Karen and her staff went above and beyond and the service we received was first class. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly stop by the Freke Arms for a meal.
