Worked in Mexico for years, this place is legit!

Good food, we love to order it. I will ask them to watch the salad they give when the hot weather. Still we prefer to order.

Gran pequeño lugar, lleno un viernes por la noche, muy bullicioso. La selección de bebidas es realmente grande, un montón para elegir, pero con un enfoque en la autenticidad. La comida era increíble. Took my daughter here for a quick burger after a day out. Supposedly didn't have any kids cranberry juice that was on the menu (or in fact any other of the kids drinks, orange juice, apple juice or fruit shoots), but had the adult orange juice (a glass of from concentrate orange juice) for £4.45. Served up chips with no condiments, and then looked extremely put out when I asked for some ketchup. A thimble sized portion then appeared. Been wanting to try this place for a while, but definitely won't be back. Doesn't matter about the quality of the food if the service leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Loved this experience. The food was really great and we really appreciated the staff and the conversations we had with them. 10/10 would recommend.

Wee trip to Newhaven via tram & walking. Popped in to this restaurant for some lunch. Sitting outside as its hot hot 🔥. The food was great mixed fajitas amazing & when it arrived it was sizzling hot also tasted great. Expresso martini to wash it down along with iced water. A wee selfie as well.🤣🤣🤣. Would definitely recommend staff were great to so you didn't have to wait long. So worth a visit if in the area.

Absolutely Devine tacos, and fast service. I was absolutely blown away by how nice and simple the tacos were, only a few choices but they were Devine. No fuss, no muss. Great great tacos.

The food was good but the service was very Faulty Towers, could not believe the service could be so bad. Waited 15 minutes for a person to come and take our drinks order, gave up and went the bar. When we ordered our food my wife's meal came and then we were told there would be a delay for the other 3 meals, my wife then had to wait for cutlery which eventually arrived, the waiter only brought 1 set of cutlery, when my friends meal came his toriltilla wraps were cold and he had to send them back.

I am leaving this review as supportive criticism. I love the Mexican grill and have never had issues before with other meals I've ordered in the past. The staff are also really lovely people. Mexican grills' food is usually absolutely amazing; however, we ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was so tasteless, a little spicy but completely bland. We couldn't smell or taste any cumin whatsoever (in my opinion, cumin is the main scent/flavour to chicken fajitas) the cheese was also mozzarella which is confusing (as mozzarella is Italian) and totally disappointing as mozzerella is tasteless also. Also the portion of condiments, i.e. salsa, lettuce (with about 2 strands of carrot?), cheese, soured cream, and avocado (not guacamole), were VERY small. Definitely need more salad and cheese. Salsa, soured cream and avocado was okay portion size. So please make slight changes to your chicken fajitas, add cumin to the chicken seasoning and replace the mozzerella cheese with strong cheddar. Here is a helpful seasoning mix for the best chicken fajitas which will keep customers coming back for more! <3: •Chilli powder •Cumin •Garlic powder •Paprika •Dried oregano •Salt and Pepper. I hope this review reaches the staff at Mexican grill as it was once a fabulous restaurant. Much love.

Chicken arepa was tasty but the two vegetarian ones were bland, as was Mexican rice. Fried plantains and empanada were super greasy.

Ordered to our hotel room and sadly the rice bowl turned up in a real mess, packaging needs to be rethought, gyro turned up as a veg burrito, both meals lacked a range of flavours and rice was hard but at least the guacamole was good.

I'm Mexican, and the flavor is fine. However, they brought me the burrito cold... But overall, everything was excellent! They brought my food very quickly, which I appreciate.
