Loved this experience. The food was really great and we really appreciated the staff and the conversations we had with them. 10/10 would recommend.

*My review somehow saved into drafts and didn't upload on new years day at the time of writing!* We booked here for our New Years Party and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening/night/new year! From the moment we walked in to the moment we stumbled out the DJ was playing just the best mix of music to cater for everyone! Really really good vibes! The restaurant itself is beautiful, spacious and decorated to really give a feel as if you were dining in an authentic Mexican restaurant, I really liked it! We ordered our food (Birria Tacos & loaded fries) and honestly this was the best tasting Mexican food I’ve tried in a very very long time! Not only were both dishes exceptionally flavored, piping hot & presented well, but the service, despite it being a busy new years, was amazing! I genuinely cannot wait to come back to try more food from the menu! Those birria tacos were honestly something else! Wow! To top it all off, the huge impressively stocked bar kept us perfectly ‘merry’ the whole night! We could not have asked for a better night at The Mexicano’s, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, amazing people! The food was honestly 10/10, the drinks were delicious and the atmosphere in there was just jumping all night. 10/10 all round. What an amazing restaurant, we will DEFINITELY be returning soon. This spot is 10/10 service and food great owners the food is 10/10 tacos and nachos fresh and the churros hot and delicious couldnt recommend any more for a family or friends night

Amazing little spot in stains that you have to try! We were really happy with the service we received and felt like part of the family whilst eating there. It was such a warm experience. The food was also amazing and fresh, full of flavour. They really make an effort with presentation and take pride in their food and service. The Churros however, we’re average and it would be nice if they started selling hot drinks as it’s a place we would like to sit and have dinner and dessert with a lovely cup of mint tea but nevertheless the mains and mock tails were still amazing overall.

What a brilliant little gem we found here!! Food and service are truly worthy of 5☆. Could not fault it at all! We will be back very soon!

Fantastic food, superb service, reasonably priced. An outstanding family meal and I strongly recommend trying it for yourself. And the friendliest of welcomes and goodbyes. 😀

Realised I neglected to leave a review at the time of my visit (a few months back), but I recall vividly being very impressed - so no harm done with the delay! The ambience was spot-on, & the portion size VERY generous for the cost. It was pretty quiet when we visited so I can't comment on service during busy periods, but it was speedy for us. The staff were friendly too. We'll be back.

Some of the best if not the best Mexican I have ever had. I am from Australia and we are spoilt for choice with amazing Mexican so I was very impressed. I also had this from Uber eats so can only imagine how much better it would be fresh dining in. Highly recommend the jalapeño poppers and beef tacos, yum!!

Hard to review really. I booked a table for 2 for our anniversary. Yes we booked early (opening 5pm) but didn't expect to arrive and it be in pitch darkness. We have 4 kids so wanted to make the most of our time so at 5:05 when it was still closed, in pitch darkness we went to TGI. If people open late would it not be courteous to ask bookings not to be made until 530? Very disappointed. TGI were pleased with their £100 extra takings that evening.

Ordered 4 items via Uber Eats. Only 3 items delivered. Refunded for item and 1/4 deliver. Bit of a joke tbh. If you can't deliver a 4 item order you should give a full refund given you've not delivered a full meal. A substandard meal...
