The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Glasgow and Surrounding

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, yesterday we were in Glasgow to see a show so we booked a table. The food was very nice, we shared the small plates, our server was friendly, polite and efficient. The reasons I have taken 2 stars off is: 1. The manager (I assume) who was front of house and showed us to our table did not greet us, did not come across as friendly and had an arrogant demeanour. 2. The house 'music' was terrible, extremely loud and overbearing, it was difficult to hear each other or our server and we left with headaches. Softer traditional Greek music would be much more appropriate. I can see that we are not the only ones that felt this way about the atrocious 'music' by reading previous reviews.

Meal was ok thankfully not a large menu to choose from but a bit pricey for what we had. Service was really good with attentive staff however the room was very bleak and not really comfortable to spend a great deal of time in.

Wasn't sure what to order, so I asked the waiter what he recommended. Was served a cut of lamb on the bone that was incredible. Served with rice and a broth on the side, which were amazing! The lamb slid off the bone and I honestly can't remember the last time I had such an amazing plate of food. 15 out of 10! You HAVE to eat here.

Lovely selection of cakes available and the breakfast menu looked delicious. We stopped here for coffee and cake but would definitely come back to try other options. The staff were lovely and friendly, very nice warm atmosphere

Had a lovely meal at The Bay Tree. Armin was so welcoming. The food was fresh and flavors/spices bright and delicious. Lovely presentation. Can’t wait to eat here again

Perfect meal here. Food was incredible, service amazing and pacing was perfect. Wine list is fantastic! What a beautiful place

Able to book and receive confirmation email but it’s no longer open - looks open on website and booking system- it’s not, save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere

Taken over from Zeus and now a very reduced menu. I accept items won't taste the same but why no chicken/pork salad?

The food was absolutely amazing , unfortunately the restaurant is a bit tired now, found everything very unclean had to swap my wine glass, cutlery and plate. Chairs were all wobbly chairs and covered in food stained dirt, it seems because it’s a busy place for hens ect that the inside is now wrecked. Even the bathrooms could have been cleaned. Absolutely no complaints on the food and service but wouldn’t rush back due to the cleanliness

Buena comida y servicio. Casi podría haber estado en España con el sol afuera y la deliciosa comida estilo tapas. Optamos por pescado - guiso de pescado y la merluza con espárragos hecho de dos maneras como un lado. Generosas porciones con suficiente espacio para un helado casero para compartir. Precio bastante razonable también.

Los dos únicos personal que parecía ser que había dos altas o jóvenes que estaban teniendo una conversación y una risa en el bar y la recepción nos sólo clientes - en el restaurante en el momento. El servicio era terrible y la comida sólo moderado. No volveré.

That's a few things I've bought recently from Trio and been unhappy. Tonight's fish supper wasn't great at all. Looks and tastes like it's been sitting all night, a lot of black chips as well . Last time I ordered a black pudding supper, the black pudding was that spicy , I couldn't eat it. Hubby just said his chicken tastes like it's been sitting for a while as well. I think I'll be giving this a miss in the future.

Still the best these guys have kept the consistency as always as 10 or 15 years ago. any time In great Western Road will definitely go for my mixed or mixed Middle East kebabs with Persian rice. 👌 Well done, boys keep up the good work 👍

Cena muy decepcionante. El menú ha cambiado a un precio establecido de 14. 95 para 3 tapas con una selección limitada. Cuando llegó algunas de nuestras tapas estaban frías. Los refrescos se sirvieron en pequeños vasos de whisky, pero todavía se cargaron a más de 3. La gota que colmó el vaso fue que habían agregado un cargo por servicio a la factura que no se había mencionado anteriormente. Hubiéramos pedido que se eliminara, pero teníamos prisa por un espectáculo. Demasiado caro y sobrevalorado. Evitar.

Karahi with already made sauce and peppers in it just waisted 20 quid here never again
