Trio in North Lanarkshire

That's a few things I've bought recently from Trio and been unhappy. Tonight's fish supper wasn't great at all. Looks and tastes like it's been sitting all night, a lot of black chips as well . Last time I ordered a black pudding supper, the black pudding was that spicy , I couldn't eat it. Hubby just said his chicken tastes like it's been sitting for a while as well. I think I'll be giving this a miss in the future.

ordered a calzone with Chicken pakora, ham, mushroom, onion & peppers.. I received a mushy calzone with just onion, peppers and mushroom, absolutely disgusting and couldn't eat it. Macaroni was freezing and spilled over wrapper as wasn't correctly packed.. Very disappointed as I normally used here loads. wont be my first choice after what I received.. £29 of an order for food to go in bin as unable to eat

Genuinely don’t write reviews often but their chips & gravy was awful. Got a ‘large’ portion and it was a medium at best and the chips were bland, even with the gravy. Really disappointing and won’t be ordering again.

£6 for a large chips and cheese that was not even a medium, fish wasn’t fried long enough either batter was honkin

Gammon steak was wafer thin chips were disgusting cans coke price marked £1.00 and charged £1.20 Diet Coke price marked 90p and charged £1.20 will never use it again

best pasta 😋..the chippy side wasn't a fan each to own personal taste..pasta was amazing n u get loads even in a half portion n great choices

Usually can’t fault the meals for one - not sure what happened tonight. Shame as it’s usually so much better. Burnt garlic bread and carbonara was swimming in oily butter. Both inedible

The food was great and it arrived early. However menu is too complex. Single “suppers” is one sausage, nae chips. A supper supper is 2 sausages with chips. Why does a single no have a chips yet a supper has double including chips? This question has made my experience rather confusing

Food was burnt, cold and damp. 30 minutes late and inedible. Total waste of time and money.

Food was not hot and order arrived too late

Order fir an elderly relative every Saturday who looks forward to this and enjoys thoroughly

the chicken portions are tiny, you pay 5 quid for 4 bits of chicken… 7 quid for a tiny sausage supper.. really poor portion sizes for the price

A love the trio best chippy in Cumbernauld but that spicy Scottish pizza has to go live everything in it but does not go together 😂

The food was bang on. The battered salt and chilli chips are absolutely delicious and a full meal alone. Please keep these on the menu! If I’m being picky, I would like a bit more veg (peppers, onions and especially fresh chilli) but I am a spice maniac. Pizza crunch was great. Chilli cheese bites were good. Probably wouldn’t order them again but only because the chips were a good enough side. The food from here is always good. Ordered on a Saturday night and was happy to wait a while for delivery

Order said it was on the way for a very long time. On arrival the food was cold. Wouldn’t order again

The pizza crunch my partner had was nice and fresh but unfortunately my pasta and meatballs wasn't great. The meatballs tasted burnt and were solid and the sauce just tasted like generic passata which would have been okay if it wasn't £8.50. I think it might be good to make sure your meatballs aren't overcooked and sitting out for too long in the future. :)

Waited well over an hour for food to arrive cold not what you expected when paying just shy of £30 for an order. Contacted just eat and they couldn't give a toss. Total waste of money most of the order went in the bin

Had to wait over 2 hours finally got it and daughters chicken burger bag ripped and the paper. Definitely will not be ordering from here again!

Chips were burnt and dry. Won’t be ordering from them again.

The pizzas were a little dry but very tasty.

Delivery was wrong! My 71 year old mother who had a stroke a while ago can only eat soft food, we ordered fish cakes for her and they sent a thick hamburger. The portion of chips was minimal shocking, and looked under cooked. the cans of juice we ordered one was missing and weren't what we asked for. Waited well over an hour and a half for delivery so food was stone cold. They sent driver out took food back to store and then told us we were not getting a refund. £40 for food they got out of us. Will never use them again!

The carbonara was very oily as if it had maybe been reheated or under heat for a while. So not like the trio, there food is usually delicious . Was a little disappointed

Best chip shop av been to fish is fresh tasty the place is immaculate , also tried there pastas and are as good as if not better than some restaurants av been to and half the price , banging scran will defo be back

Was charged £1.75 for bottle of Irn Bru, the bottle has a price of £1 on it

Was horrible. Chips had skin on them and they were freezing. Hamburger wasn't very nice. Put us off eating it so money wasted. It only seems to be like this at the weekend.

Food was great my only nitpick if I had to nitpick was the pasta item didn’t have olives in when it said it would. But was still a good dish. Even without 😃

This chippy is the best about. I have never had a bad meal from this place. The fish supper was the best was so fresh and tasty.

Got an cheese & onion panini with oinion & salad .Hardly any cheese & a disgusting load of onions Never seen so many onions in a salad & roll 🤑

The food quality has went right downhill for me, originally gave 5* review but last time ordered large fish supper received a not so large fish which was soggy and greasy! My last supper this week was a half chicken supper which was overcooked and the meat was as dry as a nuns! Disappointing 😐

Always good food, and hot. But delivery time is always long. An option for salt and vinegar would be ideal?

I ended up collecting instead as the delivery time was up to an hour and a half. When I got to the shop I waited approximately another 15mins and to top it off when I got home 1 of the 2 large chips i ordered was missing.

Lovely, fresh, fish supper and pizza.

First pizza was burnt had to return it the replacement was better but a £1 frozen pizza from iceland would have been better. It was tasteless and not value for money.

Food was ice cold and extremely late. Called the restaurant to find out where order was and they said it had been with the driver for ages.

Order undelivered, no contact from store and no answer by phone or text. Estimated delivery 9:25-9:45, marked as delivered by app, no order actually delivered.

The delivery took an hour and a half and the food was only just warm. Collection wasn’t an option so had to wait on delivery

Ordered late in the day and arrived hot and fresh. Love the paninis and good choice/price for drinks.

Salt n chillie chicken box was good but they always forget the curry sauce, 3rd time this has happened!! Portion size of supper was poor aswell

Chips were not fresh! Tomato sauce on the pizza was vinegary! The chips had very little curry sauce & were not a large for £4! Very very disappointed! Won't be back!

The chips were over cooked and the pizza in the bin as couldn't get paper all pealed from it. Cheese topping stuck to paper ane paper glued to base also!

Great food but half an hour early.

Pizza was bashed and folded, not a 12 inch like we ordered. Chips were freezing cold. And 45 minutes late

Food superb as always. Especially the Gamberetti Pasta. First time we've tried anything other than the chippy. Definitely will be trying more things!

Waited over 2 hours. Its fine if you're busy, just reflect that in the delivery estimate so we know whether or not to cancel or wait.

I usually love the Alla Crema pasta from this place. Usually it’s 10/10 - no joke seriously you should try it. Today it was like there was too much tomato sauce and no garlic. I had to throw it away it didn’t taste like the same pasta. I’m not sure why this happened but it’s made me slightly hesitant to order it again.

First time customer and I was not disappointed it was sublime ordered the large fish supper and the fish was huge cooked to perfection crispy batter and flaky fish, chips crispy fluffy inside and the single king rib not just thrown in but wrapped like a little gift 😂no grease in sight best chippy I've had ever 👍😁

Placed order waited the aloted time scale for delivery waited half hour over the latast time and had to call them and I was told if it was ordered on just eat there machine was playing up and they said they would send my order and did I want a free bottle of juice for waiting over 3 hrs and then they failed to supply my free juice just a farce from the start to finish will not order from them again They got one star because there wasnt a 0 option

Hi All, I am writing to report a serious issue with food delivered from the above establishment via Just Eat this evening. My name is Scott Muir and I ordered 2 meals one large fish supper and one sausage supper. In the middle of the fish was a metal item which I bit on and had to spit out (photograph of the above is attached). I called the above and they wanted the driver to come and take it away however I wanted to alert you as this could have been a fatal incident. The best description of the image in the photograph is it is bullet like.

Pleasantly surprised, food arrived within time and tasted very good. It's never going to be piping hot but was hot enough, will definitely order again!

Food was awful, used this chippy since I was a child and never again. Oven pizza looked like a child had made it and didn’t taste any better than it looked. No salt and vinegar on anything even though specifically asked for. Didn’t know a small supper meant 5 chips. Totally gone downhill

Food was delicious, hot and arrived without any problems. Not greasy nor did it leave you feeling stuffed well worth a visit.

The kids fancied fish and chips and we never know which to go for, as some arrive a bit soggy, but please we have found this place, because it was delivered fresh and hot, tasted delicious, was really nice quality and everyone enjoyed it.

Food was cold. Chips and cheese isn't the same if I have to reheat myself. Not much difference in the size in small and large except the price. Curry sauce was like jelly. Bit of a bit and a miss. Today was a miss 😪

1 hour and 40 minutes for delivery

The food was shocking was cold and soggy when we got it, and the pizza was stuck to the top of the box

Food and restaurant staff were great as always. Issue is with JustEat not processing the order until an hour after it should have been delivered.

Food was cold, no salt and vinegar as requested and fritters were inedible.

Food was 40 mins later the delivery slot. Ordered at 17:35 and recieved food at 19:20. Had to phone shop twice to see where food was and told on its way and food would be hot when arrived. Food was cold but edible. Not worth £32. Will be contacting for a refund.
