The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South East

What a lovely restaurant, situated in the Lanes of Brighton. The staff were very friendly and it felt very relaxed. The ambience was perfect for our meal for two. We had a steak dinner with some added sides. The steaks were cooked to our liking, and my husband was so impressed with the salad dressing, he asked for the recipe. We will definitely be recommending IL Bistro to friends and family …….

Lovely and welcoming. The food was perfect and had a lovely range of gluten free meals. They served proper currys made with coconut which is perfect for me as I cant have dairy either.

We ordered a meal (starters and mains) for 12 to be delivered to our house, last Sunday. The food was lovely and in generous portions. The owners were helpful and accommodated all our dietary requirements and delivered on time. All our guests thought their meal delicious… it was too. We will definitely eat here / order from here again.

Best Iskender I’ve eaten in the UK, very big portion and absolutely delicious! I ordered the same thing 2 days in a row, it’s that good. The staff is very friendly. Very chill atmosphere with cool decor.

Unassuming on the outside, wonderful on the inside. This tiny place is a goldmine of scrumptious home cooked food & top quality groceries! Family owned & run by passionate humans, their Middle Eastern roots bring amazing flavours to all their home cooked dishes, eat in or take away. Also a great selection of organic & natural wines, and cake, omg the cake!!! Best deli cafe in Brighton, hands down.

I've been going to Eliane since the day it opened. Great coffee - the best for miles - jolly good food and lovely staff. Breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea - take you pick!

Absolutely shocking service. Purchased a mixed platter which came cold not only this but the meat was raw. The chicken was still pink and bloody absolutely vile. Waiter came and collected meal agreed that food was raw and took back to chefs who stood and laughed at the meal they cooked. Would not recommend to anyone save your money and go elsewhere in the marina.

A lovely cafe in the heart of Kemptown offering a delicious range of cakes, pastries and sandwiches. Very upmarket.
