I barely write reviews but feel I have to this time. Food was lovely and looked nice, but tiny portions for £18.95 for a chicken shish! Venue was nice but dark and cold which I think the workers knew because they put a heater next to us! The live music was nice and thoughtful for a Tuesday evening but was too loud and we could not hear eachother talk. My friend asked for ketchup twice for her chips and we were told they didn’t have any and someone had gone to the shop to get some! 10 minutes later a Heinz bottle of ketchup is put on our table. It was laughable, but not good enough for the price. Will not return and will stick to Horsham's Turkish restaurant competitor.

Visited with my daughter, who is vegan. The restaurant is quite a size but had a good number of customers for a Tuesday. Always a good sign. It was soon apparent why. We shared a cold meze platter for two. This had a couple of non-vegan dishes but I ate those! For mains we both had the vegetable cuvek. It was absolutely delicious. In fact, my daughter reckoned it was the best main course she'd ever had in a restaurant. There was a singer performing in the restaurant, but not at excessive volume, and I enjoyed her singing. A touch of Kate Bush in her voice. Excellent service and truly exceptional food. A great restaurant.

The food and the staff were excellent well done, but the noise was beyond belief. This was the first time we had eaten here, nightmare to park. It was a Saturday night, and it was busy, the music was so loud we could not hear or be heard by our friends on our table for four, and then the music got louder and a belly dancer came out to entertain, and got people up to join in, now I may be old fashioned but I go a restaurant to eat. Then the DJ started, some ladies were having a party. As I said, if you are over a certain age, I wouldn't recommend a weekend, and be prepared for a hefty bill, I would say compared to other high Turkish restaurants we have been to add 30%, and there is a service charge added onto the bill. As I said the staff were excellent, even though it was busy, the were very polite, and efficient. The food flavours great, and portion size good.

The food here is really nice and competitively priced with other Turkish restaurants in Crawley. The decor within the restaurant is really nice, having only recently opened earlier this year. Have eaten here in several occasions, the service could have done with some improvement when it first opened but seems to have got much better. Often have live music or entertainment on.

We visited Dem Shish & there was some sort of drag queen doing a embarrassing tacky Butlins style singing routine we found it very tacky and felt very embarrassed for the drag queen it was awful If you like to booze it up and have a sing song this is the place for you. If like us you wanted a nice grown up meal and some background music do not visit Service was very slow and staff were young and casual no care or check backs. Our table was not cleared for ages very over priced for the basic food served. Filling up plates with basic salad and not much else A fun place if you love a drag queen who can’t sing or act and you love a glass of wine and a sing song

If you have allergens please seek advice from the waiter/waitress do not order by the menu as what is displayed is not correct. Very disappointed from our recent visit.

We went as a party of 8 to catch up with friends. We have been many times before and found that this time the prices have really gone up. Also we were previously allowed to change rice for chips but now have to pay an extra £2 to be able to do this! I feel this is very cheeky. The service was quite slow and the lamb shank was not as good as we have had previously = not as tasty and portion less generous. We decided to order a pudding over a starter this time but this was a mistake. Starters are definitely better. The puddings were not the quality expected for price paid. The restaurant was quite noisy and the singer/music added to this which made it very difficult to hear. The food is good on the whole but we won’t be returning for a while. It has become quite expensive. Our advice is don’t become too complacent- customers will vote with their feet if your previous high standards aren’t maintained.

Food is fantastic, the main platter is great value for money. There are a few things I think they could work on here: the drinks seemed to take a awfully long time to arrive, the starter plates were not removed until the mains turned up, which made serving a little time consuming and if you go in winter take a coat & keep it on, it’s absolutely freezing in there!!

Last time I was here this was the roughest pub in crawley! Have to say not the most atmospheric or welcoming place I’ve been to but it was pretty empty save for a couple of parties in. That said the food was very good. Mixed kebab, chicken shish snd beyti all hit the spit. Fresh and good portions.

Average at best. From the moment you walk in you are met with the smell of stale cigarettes and damp and reminded that it was once a dive pub. The china was nice but some dishes were chipped, glassware nice and food good value. Service was very attentive. Decor was slightly Dunelm catalogue. Knives and forks appeared to be from a liquidation sale as no two knives or forks were the same, ranging from steak knife to chopstick style spear. We ordered the ‘stuffed Mediterranean olives’ but they were not stuffed, just tiny cheap pitted olives from a jar. The chilli sauce was awful, more of a smoky harissa offering.

For arriving to leaving everything was brilliant. We were welcomed and shown to our table promptly, after a short time we had ordered our drinks which were served swiftly. The food choice is good and the taste and presentation was really good. We then sat outside after our meal where we had a cocktail served by a very professional a polite guy (didn’t get his name) will definitely be coming back soon and will be telling everyone that will listen how nice it was.

We had a great bottomless brunch with lots of lovely cocktails and food. Thanks to Kira for the fastest service and making us have the best brunch ! Definitely recommend 💕

I visited here Tuesday 12th Sep. For a birthday treat from my daughter in law. The food came out hot and was delicious. The waitress was pleasant. Look forward to going back Friday night for more birthday celebrations with the girls. Belly dancing and resident dj is the evening entertainment closing at 12 I believe.
