The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South East

We had a really lovely evening at tapas revolution, the food, wine and beer were delicious and we had great service from all staff. A special thank you to Kenzie, your friendly service was certainly an extra highlight to the evening. We definitely will be back.

Took my wife on a date there, I had table booked indoors. We had our dinner and decided to move in terrace for some shisha and coctails, so spoke with our waiter about it, he said yeah absolutely fine, go there find a table someone will come to serve you. We paid for dinner and vine and moved to terrace, we still had some vine so took it with us in terrace. My wife and I had good chats and laughs, we sat there for an hour or so and then realised no one came to serve us or ask us do we want anything, even though 2 waiters were walking around and serving other tables😅🤦🏻 we finished vine and left as by then mood for coctails or shisa was gone lol Overall conclusion: Staff needs training. Food overpriced by 30% for what you get, tastes average and presentation is below average. They run out of oysters, had only 1 bottle of vine we wanted and had no gas for heater in terrace 😅🤦🏻 Restaurant have a great name and looks cool inside but that's abou it, we didn't get the vibe we wanted nor the wow factor. It's very unlikely we go back there.

Coming to Meejana is a real treat! Me and my family love coming here during the summer! I remember coming as a little girl and playing with the piano. This place has everything from a Lebanese look to the taste and smell! I love coming here and i encourage other to aswell 🤍👍🏻

Worst possible place to visit. Toilets don’t flush and it’s so dirty. Almost slipped on my way out. Drinks are way too sweet.(diabetes giving) Floors are slippery. Caught male employees staring at multiple women’s buttocks.

Called Sunday afternoon just for a drink, good pint of Hawkstone session lager. A busy place with most tables taken with diners. There is a small area near the bar where they were happy for us to sit just having a drink, but it is more restaurant than pub.

Lovely little cafe. I pop in with my friend regularly ! It's becoming a home from home . Lovely ambience and we always have a great chat with the ladies . The rose is a must !!! See you soon girls ❤️

Best experience in Europe so far! We wandered in after seeing the sign describing the Tapas Lunch Special. Amina greeted us with such wonderful enthusiasm that set the mood for our entire experience. The Tapas were fabulous, we tried the Mushroom Croquettes and fell in love. We also ordered the Marinated Lamb dish that came with potatoes cooked with onions and chorizo... It was delightful. Amina was so happy we enjoyed the meal and suggested a dessert which was an almond cake with ice cream. We enjoyed it with an espresso to complete our wonderful experience. We highly recommend 'Que Pasa' so you too can experience 'what's up' in Abington UK. Thank you Amina for the wonderful time in your town😁

Hands down the best souvlaki I’ve ever had! Perfectly grilled, juicy, and packed with authentic Greek flavor. Super friendly staff and quick service—this place is a gem!

Similar to the Geese across the road; a good beer selection in a welcoming environment. Worth a visit. Two casks on when I went from Harvey's.

My wife and I dined at Christmas eve. Polite staff, good tasty food. Not to keen on the gimmicky going up to the counter to pick the food but can see how some people may. Food was served in good time and was hot, tasty and portion sizes perfect. Drinks were expensive however.

My husband and I visited today for "date night". The food was tasty and presented well. The service was somewhat bizarre. We waited so long to begin with , we ended up ordering with the online QR code. And there was no option to remove the service charge even though we did all the work ourselves. Then after ordering the server came over. We explained we had already ordered starters and drinks and advised what we ordered. The server then took our mains order. When the starters came we had ordered a mixed one for two, but on questioning what was on the platter my husband was advised two things had been substituted as they had run out. Poor service there ! We weren't given the choice to change our order. Then on bringing the mains to our table the server (a different one ) felt it necessary to comment on how much food my husband ordered and assumed i had ordered the lentils. This made me and my husband uncomfortable and judged. We then waited so long to pay...although the place was pretty empty, we paid online which again meant we had to pay the service charge. To top things off toilets were not particularly clean and there was no toilet tissue. Stars lost on the atmosphere for the toilet cleanliness. Stars lost on service because it was terrible. Stars lost on food due to the starter issue. I don't think I'd particularly recommend this restaurant to others even though the food was good because of the other issues.

We had our work party in the room above the restaurant. it was a great size for the number of people we had. The bar staff was friendly and helpful . The food amazing. The owners were great at helping us organise our party and gave us several suggestions. We all had a great night
