Been in here twice now as we have found space here to sit and relax when other cafes have been busy. On both occasions we have had a tea & cappuccino as well as a bacon, egg and cheeses sandwich. On both occasions we have had a good experience here, the bacon being cooked nice and crisp and the egg not runny which is just how we both like it, give this cafe/ restaurant a go if you are in town as it is a friendly and pleasant place to go.

We had a lovely time visiting this cafe, all the food was tasty, filling and generous portions. I had the banana and peanut butter toast that came with honey and yoghurt and I was impressed by the size and quality of the dish. A nice spot for a tasty brunch!

Partner and I popped in for lunch today whilst out shopping. Have eaten here on numerous occasions & previously enjoyed. Very disappointed. Moussaka portion size incredibly small with no more than 2 teaspoons of mince, moussaka was also over cooked. Considering the hefty price of what we paid for a very small portion of moussaka and garnish (about £14.90) this is certainly not value for money. Before we left, management did not seem interested in our honest, polite feedback. Shocked at their response “that is how it comes” we will not be returning again.

Popped in for a late lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was not busy but we waited 20 minutes for a couple of paninis which were disappointing when they arrived, not much filling and the chicken was tough and dry. Wouldn’t go back.

We had one of the best Greek meals ever here! Excellent traditional Greek food and wonderful service from the friendly lady serving on a Friday night. We had four different meals, all really good, with a great bottle of Greek wine. So nice to find in Horsham.

No heating on despite it being a cold day resulting in many customers keeping their coats on. The food, 2 panini's, was of very poor and failed to match expectations suggested by the descriptions given in themenu. They appear to have a high turnover of staff with only 2 staff working, one of which was kitchen based and resulting in waiting times for food in excess of 30mins.

Very disappointing visit to this restaurant. First it was so cold in there. We were all frozen by the time we left. Service was so slow just one waitress & I guess one chef. The food took so long to arrive. The starters were tiny & some over cooked. Well the mains were on side plate size plates. My husband had lamb chops with a tiny piece of boring salad. My brothers moussaka was like a child’s portion & barely warm. My sister in laws Kleftiko was like a lamb shank no flavour at all. My kofta kebabs looked the best but overcooked. For the price the food was not worth it.

I can't comment on the rooms but the food and drink in the bar was lovely. A little on the pricey side but it's a prime location in the South downs so it makes sense. Zack in particular was a good laugh and very helpful when we visited, thank you.

Outdoor seating meant that on a fine January day we were able to drink our excellent coffee in sunshine. A good chatting space! Though this café has changed a lot over the years (it now has a large indoor seating area) and has different staff, it remains a friendly place serving good coffee, with a selection of pleasant looking food.

Being left in the lurch by a change in plans put us into So India for Sunday Lunch. Sunday Lunch was always very hectic at country pubs with indifferent service and long waits for sometimes indifferent food - so we thought we'd try lunch with a hint of spice. This visit was perhaps the forth or fifth visit we have made, usually these are on weekday evenings. Sunday lunch at an Indian tend to come in two forms quiet or chaos. Usually the latter s the preserve of normal Banquet time. Fortunately So India has it's banquet in the evening on Sunday so we had the entire restaurant to ourselves! Our menu choices arrived reasonably briskly and both were definitely familiar Indian spiced fayre. As ever we enjoyed our meal and service was reasonably attentive. With so few guests it was pleasing that the staff were unobtrusive, nothing worse than being hovered over by your waiting staff. All in all our Sunday Lunch was a success and we rose replete with the warmth of the spices on our lips and a comfortable swell to our stomachs - it may have been a very quiet lunch but after a busy week meeting friends it was nice to have some quiet time to recuperate. We will be back as So India is ideally placed for Lunch or Dinner. If you pass through Pulborough and find yourselves wondering what So India is like - why not stop next time you drive by and find out. But don't go on Monday as they are closed...

Check in - person on desk didn't know how to check in group booking, took name of main booker then tried to send all six of us up to one (double) room. Confusion with paperwork when trying to get other keys. No direction on where to go to find our rooms. Room - Poor cleanliness, examples include accumulated dust on pipes in left corner under the window, and on both nightstands, hair dryer didn't switch on (should fuse outside have been put on?), fluff from filter all over top of toilet, no remote for tv, volume buttons on tv didn't work. Only two hangers in wardrobe, no clothes drawers (just small night stand/desk drawers for trinkets). Breakfast- Day 1, gave my details and said I was part of group booking - lady said sit anywhere not reserved. One table of six with reserved sign on it. Had to go back and check, she eventually concluded the reserved table was ours. Didn't warm gluten free bread for friend (who couldn't use the shared toaster due to cross contamination). Day 2- no table set up for six in dining room, we had to move furniture ourselves. I complained, chef followed me into dining room (in front of other guests) to have a go at me - she said they only reserved tables yesterday as the hotel was full. It was not about reserved or not - they have a group of six (for the second day of their stay) who will obviously want to sit together. Hurt my shoulder moving tables. They had run out of cheese (completely, as of the previous day) - told me "oh you had it yesterday", and did not put anything else out to make up for not having it. Again, friend's gluten free bread not warmed/toasted. In conclusion, the bare minimum standards of customer service, accommodation, catering, and cleanliness are not met in this establishment.
