Panino Cafe in Horsham

We are always served by the lovely Elizabeth who we have never seen without a smile on her face. She is extremely friendly and always brings a kind and familiar face to our weekend trips at panino’s. She needs more recognition for the service she provides! Despite there being many coffee shops in horsham, we will always come back to paninos simply because, you can get a coffee anywhere but you CANNOT get an Elizabeth everywhere.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food served to me I’d asked jacket potato with butter and no salad but it came with a salad okay I won’t eat the salad not a problem, unfortunately without checking for allergies they had sprinkled balsamic vinegar over the salad which seeped under the jacket potato so I couldn’t finish my meal and didn’t have the time to order again so I just left definitely not a good experience

Panino’s is a sweet delight - with such a wide range of sandwiches, snacks, amazing cakes - there is something for everyone My partner and I were served by Antonio who was so helpful , kind , and willing to go the extra mile - thank you The sponge cakes were delightful - light, fluffy yummy and sickly sweet which is perfect for me ( the Victoria sponge ) My partner had the coffee - which I had to have a taster of - again delicious , light & perfect amount of coffee Perfect location and atmosphere here as well Sarah - Storrington

Service slow, prices ok, lasagne was cold in the middle, and 90% pasta, so little sauce I can't even comment on the flavour.

Perfect stop for a cappuccino when walking around Horsham. Nice little treats as well.

Cute, intimately served Italian Café, with super cake, pastries, Italian ice cream and hot and cold drinks. Very pleasant positioning in the square.

Amazing cafe excellent staff amazing selection of great food

Nice little spot for a coffee and light lunch. Selection of fillings for paninis, baguettes etc, and very tasty they are too. Also some light bites which we haven't tried. Maybe not the widest of choices, though. Coffee is good, and pleasant surroundings.

Just called for some help with dessert for tonight dinner with friends - spoke to Franco he was so helpful and really wanted to help with my request. Service great, didn't eat just had coffee.

Just been in for a snack. Really nice and clean. Food was displayed in clean cabinets. Ordered 2 large sausage roll, 2 chocolates filled pastry bites, hot chocolate and an apple juice. I asked for the sausage rolls too be warmed up and they were nicely served at the table together with the drinks. The bill was £14.20. Good value for money and it all tasted really nice. Definitely will come back again. Thank you

The set-up is inefficient as the staff are not connected on the orders they have. For instance, despite ordering a tuna mayo with cheese baguette, we received a Mexican Tuna sandwich, This happened after having to repeat our order several times during a 15 minute waiting period. The venue might want to consider placing the cashier at the front to ensure clarity on orders received or follow the Subway model where orders progress only once each stage of a work station is complete. If the restaurant can change how they process orders, it will be much better.

Great staff, some amazing food and good prices

We had delightful service and a great bite to eat among the beautiful hanging baskets surrounding the outside of this cafe. We had a mixed seafood/smoked salad and crab salad with coffees. All served freshly made. I don't like onions so made especially for us. Would definitely go back again.

Went for a coffee and tea while shopping yesterday. Hadn't been for years.. used to be really good. Was disappointed.. inside is tatty now and cappuccino was very average.. more like hot milk. Tea was £3... that is too much for tea...

We visited on a Sunday so maybe not the best time. Only two girls serving one of whom was more intent on covering the cakes than helping serve the queue of customers, I asked for a white coffee and was asked which white coffee I wanted ? Just a white coffee, please . The girl then proceeded to list all the coffees they made. I then had to utter the dreaded phrase that all baristas hate, can I have a white americano please. We were given our coffee in paper cups. Outside we sat at one of the tables after about 5 minutes the mat from the cafe was brought out and beaten against the curb showering us with dirt etc. Could have been a better experience as the coffee was first class.

Lovely, friendly, chatty staff and owner, (?). I went in to buy an ice cream & they insisted on me trying some of the flavours before I chose. The 2 flavours I chose were delicious, and the portions were quite generous. I will definitely be going back there

We went into the store with my wife and our little boy. He is 4 y.o. He took his time to decide what he wanted. At the end he changed his mind and asked to go somewhere else. Few minutes later asked to go back into Panino cafe where my wife heard the girl at the till commenting that this European people came in and went out without shopping. There is nothing wrong being European and our baby boy was born in U.K. Not to mention that the other girl who was making coffees, was munching the bacon which was baked for another customer’s panini.

Love the coffee here. Probably my favourite outside of Italy! Always a friendly smile and great service too. Food is decent and the branch in Roffey is just as good but without the people watching! Am about to go and ask if they sell the coffee they serve - fingers crossed...

I took my elderly mother for coffee here today. It was extremely busy but we were happy sitting and watching the world go by whilst we waited. After 35 minutes, and having seen two groups who arrived after us having their orders delivered, I wanted to check that our order hadn’t been forgotten. I had just confirmed with the waitress on checkout that our coffees were still in the pipeline, when the lady making the coffees began shouting at me, accusing me of lying about when I’d ordered the coffees and claiming that I “was trying it on!” I’m not sure what I was trying on. She was clearly stressed and very angry. She was also extremely rude. This was completely unacceptable and also unnecessary as I wasn’t complaining ; simply checking. I won’t be bringing my mother for coffee here again.

Visited cafe for takeaway lunch. Sadly ignored by staff and got lunch elsewhere.

Toasted panini’s came not toasted at all, on dry ciabatta bread no butter and my partners bread had the pesto from mine smeared all over it. Went about 2:30 because says they close at 5 and was told they were about to close, regardless we did ask if it was ok to still eat, if not please just say no rather than charge us nearly £20 for two dry sandwiches and coffees on a dirty table.

Coffee was absolutely horrendous and far too expensive The food the same the service left a lot to be desired Went there once and never again Over priced, staff rude!!!

Dirty tables, far too slow, only got half order after waiting ages. Coffee tasted like cheap beans.

Ordered to simple coffees was waiting 15 minutes the staff were getting all the orders wrong

Stopped here for a coffee which was absolutely fabulous, one of the best lattes I've had outside of Italy. It was so good I had a second one! Reasonable price too considering current pricing everywhere. Next time I'm in Horsham Panino will be my first port of call.

Must have caught them on bad day, run out of the options we wanted. Poor quality food, expected more for the price. They seemed very busy and under staffed by teenagers.

Great coffee, friendly service, clean and lovely if you want to sit outside

Cold lasagne yuk, coronation chicken with salad baguette ok, tuna and mayo with salad 2 pieces of cucumber is not a salad. Very poor and waitress got the order wrong to start with and forgot the mayo and tuna baguette with salad. A very disappointing lunch will never return.

My husband had a lovely tuna baguette and bacon puff. I had a jacket potato which was very disappointing. Half was soft and the rest hard. Tasted of melted margarine and the cheese was small pieces of processed cheese that was meant to be melted but wasn’t. A shame that a simple meal can be so disappointing. Nice location for sitting out people watching.

Stopped here en-route to the station for breakfast. Great pastries on display but asked for a bacon sandwich and ended up with the best one I've ever had. It was on a wholemeal baguette and was simply perfect. Had a great black coffee with it. In fact, they were so good I ordered another round of both. So much better than the Premier Inn where I was originally planning to have breakfast

This is by far the best place in Horsham to have a coffee with a pastry or a sandwich; I recommend their cappuccino with a toasted cheese sandwich on brown ! If you're in the location, pop in, you will not be disappointed. A good atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff and nice to sit outside and watch the world go by- even in Winter!

Believe in supporting local businesses Went in and bought 3 ricotta filled biscuits Went to pay and came to £9 Was genuinely shocked but bought them as a treat Got home and my mum who is from Italian decent then informed me it wasn't proper ricotta but butter cream So a very expensive mistake or the advice in the shop was wrong Hay ho

I only get a takeaway coffee but the food looks good, one day I will stop and rest and have some of the Italian cakes they sell, they look so good.

Very nice cafe located in the main square, serving fresh food (mainly cold) rolls/sandwiches, a good selection of Italian pastries, Ice cream, coffee and teas. Plenty of outside seating only.

A delightful little cafe with outside seating to people watch. The spicy tuna baguette was crispy and spicy and very delicious. The mozzarella and tomato panini was superb. Coffee was excellent. Service prompt. Order inside service outside. Covered umbrellas provide shade.

Nice friendly cafe. I had a take out tuna mayo baguette. Pity they omitted the salad!! I'll go back for more food when I'm in town. I like the Italianate atmosphere.

Amazing little Cafe, nice takeaway one in roffey too. Excellent staff, very supportive of people with disabilities. Very inclusive Cafe, I see all sorts coming in and out, and they're always welcomed with a smile. Apple cake is insanely good, would recommend, even at £2.90 a go. Can get a great latte for just £2.80, about a pound less than you'd pay at other high street coffee retailers!

Love the centre of town location feels almost like your abroad drinking Italian coffee from an Italian coffee shop and it all tastes great with friendly staff

Great customer service, servers were really lovely. First time in being there and didn't really know what to have and got suggested what to purchase in the end has a cappuccino and a Tuna Mayo focaccia and would definitely come back again

Friendly staff, good coffee, and great cakes. Thier other branch, up the road from me in Roffey, did the local community proud with their essential items, during the original lockdown, too 👌 The products are much better anyway, but please support such a great local business over the big chain coffee shops.

This corner cafe in the market place gets it just right. Friendly family service - always up for a chat and a bit of a laugh - and interesting cakes and lunches. Today I spotted rosmarino focaccia but my wife and I chose an almond croissant and great coffee. The home-made pasta always looks good. The new inside seats are perfect and even though the space is small , allowance has been made for social distancing. When the weather is OK, an outside seat works well particularly on market day to check out whats going on. Love it here. One of our favourite coffee spots - Ciao ciao !!

This is an Italian café of long standing which serves great coffee on the Carfax. Great staff and good coffee make this my go-to café. It has plenty of outdoor seating under umbrellas in the Carfax but today, after a week's absence from Horsham, I found they now how some seating inside which will be much used, I'm sure, during the coming autumn and winter months. I only pick up a takeaway coffee but they do serve light lunches too.

Popped in to Panino for a quick cuppa and a cake. Really lovely welcome, very friendly and all care has been taken for customer safety.

Have visited twice in last 2 weeks, first time fir takeaway ice creams & then for tea, coffee & cake. The ice cream is amazing! We had coffee cake & lemon drizzle cake on our second visit - both were delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating although it does get busy.

During lockdown we’ve relied on this lovely little deli for supplies of pasta, veg & bread. The food is gorgeous and service is prompt, efficient and friendly.

Okay coffee. Food overpriced and well under average. Dry chicken in a baguette no other fillings for £5.50. I wouldn't bother.

I love Panino's only issue is its size, but prim location why move ?

My wife and I took a table outside for a coffee and waited for ten minutes, Staff serving other tables studiously ignored us. When I finally caught one I was told we had to order inside the café! There was no indication that this was the case and over the years that I have used Panino orders were always taken at tables. Needless to say we left and took our custom to another independent café that puts customer service ahead of their personal convenience. Really disappointed and will not be going back.

Staff very friendly. Allowed out son to sit with his drink from another establishment. Order red 2 coffees and 2 cakes so a bit odd. Othnvakes arrived on the same plate

The staff at Paninos both front and back of house are excellent. We have several business lunch orders from them and they are amazing with the last minute requests. The food is always good, great deli selection and a fab selection of traditional Italian delicacies.
