We ordered breakfast at out table and it was delivered quickly with every detail perfectly executed. The food was hot and fresh and really tasty. The drinks were also perfect. I paid what I thought was a fair price and will definitely be returning. You’ll go a long way to find better food in Horsham.

One of the worst breakfast that I have had everything was over done sausages over cooked, dry and warm definitely not freshly cooked eggs like rubber and overcooked bacon that was again dry like a biscuit even wondering if this was pre cooked bubble came out I thought it was a burger it was that black totally discussing and a waste of £23 for two breakfast avoid at all cost I will definitely be telling everyone I know and will not be going back

Had to wait nearly 40 minutes for a standard breakfast. Cold toast and milky tea. No staff interested and only one cook( advise and it’s free employ a chef at least) serving completely under cooked bacon, deep fried burnt sausages, cold tomatoes and a cold plate to make everything cold. Whole experience a waste of our time, money and left the dreadful breakfast mostly uneaten. Don’t like fried eggs looking like they can still hatch as those too we’re horrific . Search the area for alternatives , there’s plenty of alternative choices around inc the local golf courses but give this one a miss. 0/10

Chanced upon this delightful place quite by accident, in search of breakfast. Nice and clean, friendly staff and amazing sausages. Went in there and there was only 3 customers and two staff. Ordered at 10 for two breakfasts, overheard one customer being told that his breakfast had taken longer because she burnt the first one...this should have been our warning! Our food came 45 minutes after ordering (bearing in mind the place was virtually empty). She did apologise that it was taking so long because she was inundated with Just Eat orders...sorry but if you have actual customers in there then we should take priority or if you cant cope then don't offer the Just Eat option. Anyway the breakfast arrived and quite honestly I wish it hadn't....the fried eggs tasted as if they were fried in water, they were disgusting and the yolks had that clear film over which turns my stomach. The beans had a perfume aroma. The mushrooms were slimy, the sausage was ever so slightly pink in the middle, the bacon was OK so I ate that, everything else I left. Such a shame because I could not fault the cleanliness as it was spotless.

Come here regularly for a breakfast before work as I know I will never leave hungry. The cafe; it’s lovely, clean and welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly and the toilets are cleaned. The staff; no matter who is working there’s always a smile, they always know what to recommend, and they are very chatty with good friendly chat- this is always a bonus. The food; cooked to perfection, cooked to order, so you know the food hasn’t been sat there. I would highly recommend!

Premier Inn’s restaurant closed suddenly and this place tucked around the corner was very busy. Only two staff and run off their feet. They coped well. Longish waits but all cooked to order. Incredibly good quality food for where it is. Huge plates of perfectly cooked fresh breakfasts at prices below that of Premier Inn. PI might be up and running again tomorrow but I won’t bother with that. This is really very good. An actual hidden gem.

Second visit to this establishment, that was a mistake. We had to wait almost an hour for our order of 3x English breakfast and bacon baguette. They did bring out the overdone/ slightly burnt toast after about 35 minutes but that was stone cold by the time the actual breakfast arrived when the breakfasts did arrive the eggs weren’t cooked properly the extra mushrooms ordered had been forgotten and the side of beans that was served with the bacon baguette was just literally on the plate not in a separate pot as requested meaning my daughters baguette was soaked in bean juice and rather a mess to eat. As we were leaving there was another couple who had gone up to complain that they had also been waiting for an hour. The response was ‘ oh I thought I’d fed you already!’ It wouldn’t have been so bad if they had been happy but they weren’t. An absolute shambles.

Not the Ritz, but a decent place to have breakfast. Tucked away opposite the station but seems to be thriving. We called in on a Sunday morning and whilst not packed, had a good number of customers on a day many cafes don't think it is worth opening. The food was all freshly prepared and good quality. No complaints at all, we had one large breakfast and one vegetarian breakfast and both were without fault. The tables could perhaps have been cleaner, but that might be due to reduced staff on a Sunday. Would be happy to return when in the area.

We pop in here in occasionally, but always leave wondering why. The whole place has a slightly greasy feel, and I feel like I need a shower and a detox when I leave. I had to change cutlery because it had congealed egg on it, and the lady at the counter made it pretty clear on her face how generally pissed off she was that we’d dared to come in for breakfast. My omelette had several large pieces of egg shell in it. The only saving grace is that the bacon and sausages are of a high quality, and that they’ve got themselves a bean-to-cup coffee machine (used to be instant). Won’t be coming back in a hurry.

After reading the reviews, we thought we would try The Cafe, but I was disappointed. We ordered the small English breakfast, the sausage was good, the two large tinned tomato’s just ruined it for me. They leak a watery juice all over the plate, which was awful, why not use fresh tomatoes, and grill or fry them? The bacon and egg were ok. The service was ok. The room was extremely humid and the smell of cooking was off putting.

On the way through Horsham I stopped off at The Cafe, which is close to the Railway Station for morning coffee. Just off the main road, on a smaller road leading to an industrial area it is well worth seeking out. On a cold, but bright morning, it was very welcoming and the coffee was good. Rightly, clearly very popular with local custom and I will make sure to call again and eat from the wide, well priced menu, on offer which was being enjoyed by a number of nearby diners.

Me and my boys love eating here, it's not greasy like some "cafe" food you have. Everything is cooked perfectly, they clearly use fresh produce too. You pay for what you get. It's slightly more expensive than some places but the service and food make up for it and in my opinion is well worth it. It's opposite the station so easy access to buses and train station. We love visiting here and there no better to start the day :)

It's not quite the best transport cafe in the area, but it's pretty good for all that. Service tends to be slower than the competitors, and a bit more expensive. It's almost as though one meal is being cooked at a time, and the higher prices probably reflect more expensive premises. When we were there, the drains had backed up - perhaps when that happens, they should close for hygiene reasons, nomatter whose fault it is.....

Called in at The Cafe after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Hubby had full English at £6.50 I think and a mug of tea, daughter had sausage and egg 'bap' which was much larger than anticipated and 2 glasses of orange juice and I had 'Oats so Simple' porridge and, would you believe,a cup of Earl Grey!! We paid around £15. Weather was good so we sat outside. Orders are taken at the counter and breakfast was brought to our table.Tables and chairs very clean, even outside.Toilets very clean but there is only one for the ladies - don't know how many there are for the men!We called in again for breakfast the next day when I had porridge again and hubby had scrambled egg on toast. For lunch we both had fish finger sandwiches at £4 each. They consisted of 3 very large fish fingers in 2 slices (doorstopper size) of white bread (there was a choice of bread).Portions are LARGE.The menu is on a blackboard near the counter but it doesn't appear to have everything on it. It shows mainly the cooked breakfasts. I couldn't remember if they offered jacket potatoes or toasted teacakes and couldn't see any mention of them on the boards. I would have liked to have read a full menu.Prices were good and service was quick, although it was quiet when we were there, only 2 or 3 tables were occupied.Would definitely call again and maybe ask for other options next time.

I have visited The Cafe every time I have been working in Horsham since it changed hands and I have to say what a change a good clean and a new owner make! Its not necasarily the easiest place to find as its tucked away down a side road but its well worth a hunt out.The food is freshly cooked to order and nearly everything is homemade, including the bubble and squeek (much better now the portion sizes are slightly smaller as I hated leaving any!), curry and coleslaw (very delicious). During busy times yes you can wait a little while for your food but it's defanitely worth it and if you are in a rush just phone the order through as everything can be take-away.The place is clean and newtrally decorated which is a nice change from some of the crazaly decorated places I see on my rounds! My only complaint would be that sometimes the girls that take orders and serve get a little distracted forgetting to bring toast with the breakfasts or even charge for extra items (not that that's really a complaint ;) I have seen one of them go into an almost statue-like state and stare into space for long periods (fasinating to watch though ;) ).My other issue is sometimes there seem to be a lot of young (and wish-they-were-young) guys who hang around and are incredably loud and a little intimedating at times. From what I can gather they are owners and owners family/friends and while its great they are there supporting the business it can be a little off-putting when all you can here is really loud swearing etc. They seem harmless enough but I know it has put me off before when I enter and see them there - the food keeps me walking to the counter though ;)

Just visited this cafe on 28th July and although the food is nice they are understaffed. They have 2 young girls working hard to serve customers, take orders and cook all breakfasts is not enough. My partner and I had to wait nearly 1 hour for our food with no prior warning of this (it wasn't very busy either). When we got our food we were told they didn't have the bubble and squeak we had ordered even though I specifically followed up on it just before to make sure it wasn't forgotten and the girl said yes its just coming...The food is good value for money and if you don't mind the wait then you would be satisfied. Otherwise I would recommend going to the Roffey Griddle for fast service (its a greasy spoon though) or The Cabin off the A264 for good service and great food.

You will find this little cafe, near the Horsham park, the rail station and the Nightingale Industrial Estate. As it is located behind the Premier Inn building it is not easy to spot from the main road. It changed ownership a couple of months ago, and now it is run by a friendly lady who is in charge of the kitchen. It serves breakfast, omelettes, sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes, burgers, as well as home-made cakes. Food is quickly prepared, hot, very good value for money, and the place is clean, with clean toilets as well. Friendly and polite staff. A pleasure to visit. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely setting in the park, which is great to walk off your breakfast. Will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately we felt on this occasion the food really was not up to the usual standard - whitebait over cooked - chips not their usual crispy delicious standard - but everyone has an off day and we said it would not deter us from returning HOWEVER we found out as we were leaving that after 14 years of trading the Orchard is due to close at the end of September 😔 So sad as , as a family some who are no longer with us it was always are “go to” place for a good quality home cooked meal . So what ever the owners plans are for the future we wish them good luck 😋

Absolutely brilliant local pub, staff and manager really friendly, service was fast and efficient even when it was really busy, would highly recommend this lovely place

Nice enough pub, with a reasonable drinks selection and friendly staff. We visited for a family lunch (on recommendation) and the place is very geared up for food. However, the food is absolutely dreadful: over cooked, bland and (in the case of the bao buns that I had) inedibly dry. Seems very popular, for reasons unknown to this visitor.

Warm and friendly staff, great setting with lovely beer garden and children's play area. Our favourite pub in steyning

Great roast dinners. All food was brilliant and reasonably priced. Small play area for the children to be entertained. Staff really friendly and helpful.
