Good food and drink, shisha is good but expensive. Some staff lack manners, try to rush you out at the end of the session, and have little to no personal skills — sometimes a little rude in the way they talk. Takes away from an otherwise decent atmosphere.

The atmosphere here is very chilled, with a nicely decorated interior and shisha mist circling the room. Where this may put some people off, it doesn't retract from everything else that is good about the place. The food was very good, service equally as good and any questions about dietary requirements were answered without hesitation or uncertainty. Overall a nice relaxed place to eat and puff on shisha if you're into it.

Can’t say enough about how good the food is. The vegetarian moussaka is exceptional as is the fried halloumi and parsley salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favour - go there for a tasty relaxing meal.

they poisoned my friend by giving him gluten when they said it was gluten free 😇 the cheese & lamb sambousek didn’t have any warnings of it containing gluten, but he was sick the whole night.

Upon entering the lounge, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who promptly escorted us to our seats. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including hummus, batata harra, moussaka, cheese sambousek , and a refreshing pina colada. As a hardcore foodie, we were thoroughly impressed by the culinary delights, which exceeded our expectations and paired perfectly with our drinks. The highlight of our meal was the decadent Umm Ali dessert, which left us speechless and satisfied. We also enjoyed an exceptional shisha experience, opting for a grape and mint blend accompanied by nakhla and mint. The smoke was rich and satisfying, and the attentive staff ensured that our coal was expertly replenished throughout our visit, without needing to ask. The staff's vigilance and prompt service left a lasting impression on us. Overall, our experience was truly exceptional, with top-notch food, exceptional service, and outstanding shisha. We can't wait to return soon!

Good place for a relaxing Lebanese/Mediterranean lunch or dinner. Plenty of great non alcoholic drinks, teas, juice and milkshakes. Hookah looked good but didn’t have any. Welcoming place and very nice interior.

Lovely experience of this delightfully relaxed restaurant where the food is wonderful and the service excellent. We were probably not the usual type of customers that find their way to this gem of an eatery, but we were so glad we went. Right from the start we were made most welcome and the staff were very attentive. The house drinks were gorgeous and our food beautifully presented and delicious.

We had a bad experience with a waiter who was extremely rude and disrespectful throughout the dinner. However, upon hearing of our experience, the owner came directly to us, was very apologetic about what happened and made amends which is very honourable of him. The shisha were okay, we particularly enjoyed the double apple, and the atmosphere was otherwise quite nice. Food-wise, the meat was good, the wraps a little greasy but otherwise enjoyable, and the rice was not the best but it was served as a side so that is understandable. The milkshakes are a real treat.

A good enough hookah. The master who makes it knows his job. Atmospheric place, nice tea. I advise you to visit this place. There is a variety of tobaccos, which is rare in England. Different flavours, you can make a great mix.

I recently had an amazing experience at this restaurant – the Middle Eastern cuisine is simply outstanding, offering a burst of authentic flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. The attentive service only added to the positive experience. The highlight of my visit was the fantastic shisha, creating a perfect ambiance. Attending an Arabic party here yesterday was the best, solidifying this restaurant as one of my favorite places in Oxford. If you're seeking delicious food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere, this is the place to be.

Hidden gem in Cowely Amazing menu, excellent quality and generous portion. I was very impressed with the shisha menu and presentation. The team served us with a smile and they made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. We certainly had fantastic time and great food. I recommend very much mix grill. However if you don’t like garlic mayo ask for it on the side. They are happy to accommodate.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was fantastic. The place had a cozy vibe, and the service was very good. The food was amazing, every dish was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Atmosphere is nice for a lounge, shame about the poor and slow service, rude staff, average food (hair found in food and told it was my fault!). Would not recommend.

Over the past few months my friends have gone there as they love the Shisha and spend some time relaxing, past few times the service has been awful. I don’t think the owner and its staff understand how to treat people. If that’s how he wants to run his business go ahead, I’m just happy I won’t be wasting my money there ever again and will make sure anyone I know do the same.

This place is a game changer in Oxford. Finally, a place classy enough for a lovely night out, and comfy enough for a friends get together. The food is amazing. Grilled dishes are the best in town, my favourite is ofcourse the great tomahawk steak. The staff are all professional and friendly and the atmosphere is full of positive energy.

First and foremost, I’d like to consider myself a loyal customer at Mint. Have been going to Mint since the opening. Have also spent £1000 in one evening during a family party. The recent prioritisation of profit has definitely come at the expense of customer treatment. I shouldn’t ever feel forced to spend as a customer. At least a party of 5-6 every weekend, but no acknowledgment/welcoming with rude staff. Have had multiple staff recently say to me/my friends - “if you don’t like it, don’t come back”. And “don’t come here again” simply because we questioned a policy change. The recent poor service I’ve encountered (multiple occasions) is simply unacceptable. Coal changes will take 45+ minutes. Drinks will take 30+ minutes. But warned, despite having a £75-£150+ bill, you’ll be insulted if you ask for a glass of hot water.

The best place to relax , and very nice stuff their shisha is the best Aryas and Umar making very nice shisha today I have been there they gave us very nice shisha , and Kareem the owner came over he said hello he’s very nice ,very friendly stuff .

Don’t really like leaving bad reviews, but feel like I have no choice here. As a customer who has spent over around £3k in this lounge since it opened I feel like recently in my past 3-5 visits the service and treatment has been beyond poor. It feels as if the only thing that matters now is the money, there seems to be a change in some staff now and the courtesy that was once there seems to have disappeared, there’s no greeting at all anymore, to sum it up I went the other day (have in mind I’m a customer that was there weekly spending over at least £100 in a group of 4 each visit and so was no stranger) and was told as soon as I sat down ‘it’s £15 a person or you can’t stay here’ with no greeting whatsoever, tell me is this anyway to treat a customer let alone a customer who is spending a lot of money every week?? I get it it’s a rule now, but there’s a way to go about it, make the customer at least feel welcome first!! And if it’s a regular high paying customer like me and many others no doubt, it should be clear that these people shouldn’t be spoken to in such a way, in fact nobody ever should be spoken to in such a way regardless. On top of this when ordering drinks or food we’ve been lucky to get it within the hour from recent visits, and coal changes are extremely rare now too, I physically had to get out of my seat and go to the front just to ask for the coal to be changed, but generally to sum it up I will not be visiting again, I understand business is about making money but if in doing that it means treating regular paying customers as if they mean nothing then I want no part of that.

Im not sure whether there has been a change of management within the past month but the customer service here has deteriorated dramatically. A few weeks ago, I would have recommended this place to friends but following my recent visit yesterday, I would urge people to absolutely avoid this establishment at all costs. I have been repeatedly ignored by staff, got given unnecessary attitude for ordering “low value” items and been made feeling extremely unwelcome. Im not expecting royal treatment but a simple smile as you make an order isnt too much to ask, especially if we are the ones paying! Would not recommend and certainly would not be returning (as if they would care anyway).

Awful. Rude staff and poor service. Having consistently frequented this lounge since they opened, service on multiple occasions have been incredibly slow and poor, not to mention the staff are rude and the owner is even ruder. Shame as the atmosphere is nice but would not be returning and would not recommend, unless you want to wait 45 minutes for drinks, only for it to be wrong anyway.

The entire staff are rude and unwelcoming, they are happy to take your money without showing any courtesy. There’s never been a smile, how hard is it to say say hello or how can I help you. When you order a drink it takes almost 50 mins to arrive, the food takes even longer. Recently the general manager came up and said you can’t just sit there unless you spend minimum £15 and he didn’t even give us a chance to choose what we going to do. My friends walked out and I followed, we approached the owner who put blame on general manager when his the one who’s employed him to do the dirty work for him. I can go on but I won’t waste my time and I’m telling you all don’t waste your time either.

Great place to chill out. The lounge is very classy and well decorated. Comfortable and warm. The staff are excellent and friendly. Aryas was super professional and made the best Shisha I have tried.

A little bit of a disappointment, the mixed grill wasn’t amazing, the kebab wasn’t actually kebab it was shawarma and way too many string flavours with sauce drizzled on it. Some people may not like the sauce. Food was salty. The rice was salty and sweet potatoes weren’t cooked through, they felt a bit raw. Service was rushed like they were in a hurry, not much warmth or friendliness. No one in uniform do you couldn’t tell who was staff and then some person just came and took our glasses/bottles. And the owner came to say hello but didn’t know what to item to suggest except their most expensive dish, steak. On the positive side, the interior was really beautiful!

This was a great find and I would certainly highly recommend it. The place is very spacious, and the ambience is super relaxing. The decor is elegant and the seating is comfortable. Food was great except the humus wasn't up to my liking as it needed more tahini. However the shish taouk and Halloumi wrap were tasty. Shisha was perfect and I am generally difficult to please when it comes to shisha. Service was very welcoming and professional. In terms of prices it wasn't cheap ie above average but well worth it. In summary its a must visit for food and shisha 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 ⭐ 🌟

Everything about this place was perfect. No alcohol available but that is to be expected from a fully halal restaurant. Food is well priced and well portioned. Definitely returning some time soon :)

Had the Black Angus Ribeye steak, TomaHawk and the chicken burgers… i have never had such an amazing steak in oxford.. the fact the cows are raised in the area, is a big selling point for me. The mindful cocktails are also a treat! Thoroughly recommend this place.

Oxford has a new Middle East Fine Dine… The ambience, food, sheesha and staff were up to the mark. Being vegetarians, we had enough optiosn to chose from. Serving styles and portion size were great, and moreover they are reasonable priced. A must try..!!

An impressive new place in Oxford with class and panache. My best friend introduced me to this place and it's by hands down a must go to in oxford and the class decor service food and drinks are on par with many of the best shisha places in London Birmingham and Manchester. Interior design is so chic. The drinks by their barman I think his name is Josh was the best I have had they are mocktails which are lush. The food too good hot mezze and cold and mains sooo soo good. Shisha is the best no gritty coal taste that you get and it some bars they know how to make shisha. Soo sooo good! Recommend

Really amazes me how customer service is lost on so many service type businesses but this lounge has it right. Owner stopped by to say hi, staff were friendly and checked on us often, drinks, food and Hookah was great. Highly recommended, would come back again whenever in the Oxford area!!!

Celebrated my birthday there with my besties and I couldn’t have asked for more … best food, shisha and delicious drinks. Amazing staff and owner felt like I have known them all for years … I played my own Taste of music throughout my time there. Thank you to everyone for making my day extra special. It was worth every penny spent there, the manager was the greatest and sweetest soul, and the food was byfar the best i've ever tasted in oxford.

We stranded out in the open and we were hungry . So we settled on this place and we are glad we did . The food was delicious and the owner and the waiters were really friendly . DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

We were looking for somewhere to eat after a day out at Bicester village. Mint lounge came up on google after researching halal food restaurants. Excellent venue for a nice lunch/dinner. Would say it's more aimed at couples/friends rather than a family setting due to the shisha smell and smoke. (That's ofocurse just my opinion) Great lebanese style food. Kofta, shawarmas and shish tawouk etc. Service was absolutely top notch. Waitresses were always around asking if we needed anything and clearing away used dishes and setting up new ones for each course. Nothing was too much for them. (NO SERVICE CHARGE) The only room for improvement on this occasion I would say would be to offer more desserts on the menu. Currently they have 3 desserts but they're all Bakhlawa based. Overall a good experience and we would visit again!

First upon entry we were greeted and taken to the lounge as we wanted food as well as a smoke. I asked for a recommendation wanted a bit of a hit but not overly strong… basically blonde with a touch of dark. I was quoted paan, frozen strawberry and kiwi. Now this is stepping outside the box bit where they have all the flavours in boxes to sniff before you order, I sniffed the kiwi from the dark leaf box and thought it’s fine let’s go for this. You can choose the type of pipe you want to smoke from the KM, Oduman and Wookah. I went with the Wookah and you also get a clay phunnel bowl with kaloud as standard. The shisha literally came out in under 5 minutes. Now the flavour itself was perfect, I’m not a paan person but this was mellow and perfect. The smoke was thick, clouds upon clouds it was doing the. The service was brilliant as you should already know we don’t have bate faces like most bloggers or ask for freebies therefore the treatment and service we recieve is as a normal customer would and it was spot on here. Lounge itself is nice and clean the decor is asthetically pleasing which is a change from its old days when it was known as a different lounge. Overall it was spot on and I’m happy to say Oxford now has a spot they can be proud of. Cash and cards accepted, parking was ok we found a spot opposite the lounge free after 6:30 and that’s the time we also luckily arrived but unsure if the lounge offers any parking. We had a lovely meal this evening at the Mint Kitchen. We enjoyed the mixed grill and Chicken Shawarma the mock tails were very good. Lovely atmosphere. Would love to return next time I’m in Oxford. Highly recommended.

Not a hookah person, but this place quite literally blew my mind with how AMAZING the food was. Quite literally one of the best meals I have had in a WHILE. The meat was tender, flavors were immaculate, and the portions were perfect. I got a 7.50 Chicken Schwarma Wrap and honestly teared up when I ate it, it made me that happy. Highly recommend.

Best place to spent time 🕰️ Great all around! The seating areas were beautiful with a running colour theme throughout which I found to be very aesthetically pleasing. The customer service was my favourite thing about my whole experience (I personally think it holds very high importance) Most importantly I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks.
