I dropped and smashed a glass bottle of water coming downstairs - not only were they really nice about me creating a right pain of a situation with lots of broken glass, they also wouldn't let me clean it up and then they brought me another bottle, on the house. What lovely people.

My friend and I often meet here for coffee/lunch after a walk and today, due to the heat, we walked early so came for breakfast. Service was swift and friendly but we were both disappointed with our 'banging beans on sourdough toast' - the beans themselves were just about warm but not hot enough and sadly both the poached eggs (we asked for them as an extra ) were overcooked with hard yolks. The banging beans were lovely but the ratio of beans to sauce weighted very heavily towards the sauce with few beans to be seen which was a shame. Sourdough was delicious!

The Jericho Cafe is a fabulous place to eat. Set in the bohemian Jericho neighbourhood near central Oxford. My husband and I went for brunch as we’d heard how good it was. Our first impressions were that it had a really nice feel walking in. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved the look inside the cafe with the lovely artwork of Walton street. The baked goods displayed looked so good and inviting, but we’d come for brunch and didn’t want to get sidetracked. My husband is a meat eater and I’m a vegetarian. The menu was great and so concise catering for everyone’s dietary requirements. Our food arrived super quick and was hot and delicious. The coffee was superb, no wishy washy coffee here. It was such a good price too. Our favourite cafe so far in Oxford.

I went here with a friend for a coffee or two. It was very busy, and we had to queue for a good 5-10 minutes for both rounds of coffee. Staff we very friendly and brought our coffees to where we sat. So no waiting around for them to be made. Coffee was really good! It did feel very congested as it was so busy, not ideal for neurodiverse people. I am not sure why, but the cups smelt bad, more noticeable on the exterior as coffee was inside the cup. It smelt like a dirty dishwasher. I returned my coffee, explained and a new one was brought out to me. It smelt bad as well. Disappointed that they did not follow up on the reason for returning the coffee.

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and a great spot in the heart of Jericho. We had avocado on toast, and a full English breakfast, both delicious. But unfortunately the service was slow, not friendly or attentive. One small point to notice, their drinks menu refers to Spanish hot chocolate but it isn't. It's just a dark hot chocolate but not the thick one that you get in Spain. I actually prefer the one they serve in the café but it was confusing.

Four of us ranging from a 16 year old fussy eater up to an octogenarian also a fussy eater went for brunch. The menu was well designed with enough variety to be interesting and fresh. We enjoyed four different meals. Three bagels all with different fillings and the last and possibly the best was the waffles with maple syrup, poached eggs and bacon. All were excellent. The drinks- coffee, hot chocolate, frappe, milkshake were again superb. The ambience was comfortable and relaxed. Ordering was via a QR code from the table. Whilst very efficient, I would have preferred to order from one of the friendly team that worked there. The food arrived promptly. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience, having only positive comments about the food and service. All in all we highly recommend and we look forward to visiting in the future.

The prices here are higher end so I’ve high expectations. Service is excellent from the onset. So far the coffee w/oat milk is ace. Eggs how I like them, I asked for scrambled. (This isn’t an option in most cafes.) 9am and is almost full already. (Wait, seating downstairs, no worries!) The food was delicious, the staff are lovely and efficient. The atmosphere is like walking into a cafe in “Mama Mia.” I loved it. When you hear staff singing along you know you’re in a happy place. This establishment deserves your attention❣️ My associate’s opinion… “The breakfast was incredibly tasty. Bacon and egg waffles with maple syrup 🤤 to be honest, the price was as competitive as elsewhere if not a little cheaper than most places we’ve visited!” There you have it.

We got a coffee, smoothie, some croissants and a bear claw (cinammon doughnut). The coffees were strong but not bitter, the smoothie was excellent, croissant was lovely, quite flaky - the style I enjoy. The bear claw was a real treat though, a bready, sweet with a strong cinammon overtone. A decent amount of seating inside but not so much that in the lunch hour it can be overwhelming. We got ours to take. Standard prices for Jericho too. All in all. A favoured cafe in Jericho that I've visited a few times while being in the area and definitely will visit again.

They are busy, but they know how to cope with the amount of people visiting the café. It feels like each staff member has been given a task in the morning and they stick to it. We politely ask if they could correct there error and they did. But when bringing the corrected item back they told us we order wrong. We showed the receipt to prove that wasn't the case and the waitress just strugged her shoulders.
