We had a fantastic afternoon tea here a real treat and would highly recommend. They gave us a couple of boxes to take home the cakes and brownies we were unable to eat there as was so full from the savoury treats and scones. The overall service was excellent in a great venue.

Stopped here for lunch when town was absolutely packed. It was very busy but they sat us quickly & we were not rushed at all which was great. Really interesting selection available, plenty of nice veggie options. A little on the pricey side however, the food was very good quality.

Delicious brunch - mushrooms with spinach on sour dough toast with pesto was excellent. Quite expensive but I did enjoy my breakfast.

The most wonderful afternoon tea for a baby shower! They catered perfectly for 14 of us, including a few veggies, with an array of savoury and sweet treats, including huge scones. We had such a great time and the food was all delicious - there was so much we had some to take home as well! I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you so much!

Went here for lunch with my friends and the food was amazing. Had avocado, mushroom, spinach and halloumi on sourdough, was mouth watering. Washed this down with an espresso martini and Bloody Mary, definitely the best cocktails I’ve had in Horsham! So nice to find a cafe that does such a varied menu and can’t wait to go back!

Regular visitors to No4 and had previously seen people enjoying one of their magnificent afternoon teas. We decided we would mark my wife’s birthday in ordering our own and we were not disappointed. A fabulous array of savoury delights, fresh cream scones and cakes that we had to box up and bring home with us. Amazing food, wonderful service from really kind generous people. If you’re looking for something to do for a special occasion we heartily recommend you book an afternoon tea at No 4 it’s fabulous. Just don’t eat before you go!

We went to Horsham a few months ago, and saw this lovely looking Cafe. We couldn't eat there at that time as they were extremely busy (a good sign)! So when we managed to get a table this time both me and my other half were looking forward to it. How disappointed we were. We were seated twice (as they sat us on one table, then another, then moved us once we had ordered, due to not realising the table was booked). Once we moved with our drinks and sat at our third table, our food arrived and we really wanted to love it! Don't get me wrong, the decoration is lovely, the menu looks amazing but the food just doesn't deliver. This is a case of looks over substance. No seasoning in the food, casida with only a little chilli powder as flavouring (also there are more vegetables you can roast other than just pepper and onions), a rarebit with no mustard, salt or pepper (This may be because I'm a Chef, but a little seasoning goes a long way!). So if you want to go somewhere for Instagram food pictures, then this is the place. If you want good, simple tasty food I suggest somewhere else.

The best of what an independent cafe should offer. Tasty food, great customer service and a warm welcome. We will be making that a regular Sunday morning breakfast venue.

We were on our way to another local restaurant, but was fully booked. A friend recommended Cafe Number 4. And WOW we were not disappointed. The lovely French gentleman greeted us like old friends, and instantly made us feel welcome. The mouthwatering menu was hard to choose from as lots of amazing choice for brunch. The coffee was delicious and ambience perfect! What a treasure… we will be back for sure! Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité, nous reviendrons certainement bientôt

Lovely setting, friendly staff and great food! Always busy and you can see why! Definitely recommend to everyone even if it’s just a coffee as they make the best Mocha in Horsham!

Bad service staff member had no idea what was in the specials for the day They did not advise that certain of the menu had chilli In which we have an allergy to Told staff member when we arrived that we were short on time After 20 mins told couldn't have 1 of the orders as it had chilli In it waited 40.minutes for our order but we were never advised that it would take so long until we kept asking when would we get our food Food was tasty when we finally received it Suggestions All staff to know what is on the menu and what ingredients are in them Also to inform people that they will have quite a wait for their order Add all ingredients to menu as its not obvious that there was chilli on both halloumi and avocado

Very disappointing. Waited 45 min for food which wasn't then as advertised. Shame as I used to rate this lovely cafe in the centre of town. Competition is fierce and there are better places to go now

Rude indifferent staff, one waitress had serious attitude, waited for our order to be taken to have to ask to order from a minimal menu that they didn't have what we wanted to order, won't be returning, avoid!!!

Not being a lover of an Afternoon Tea, I am now converted! Where to begin…a stunning large tier of savoury goodies, all fresh and definitely high quality, followed by warm scones clotted cream, Preserve and large fresh sweet strawberries, finishing off with a top tier of various scrumptious cakes and bakes…unreal. All washed down with good quality Prosecco and hot beverages🍰🥂😍 A lovely atmospheric building with a good vibe and friendly attentive staff… perfect afternoon out.

Had a afternoon tea to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. What can I say- fantastic array of savouries and sandwiches, and enough cake to feed all of Horsham. Bring your appetites. Big thank you to Yvonne and her wonderful staff

Had lunch here, staff very friendly, but brought me the wrong beer, I was ok with that, but 25 minutes after ordering the waitress announces they have run out of fish fingers! , so I then had to order something else. We waited in total...

Severe delay for food (>75 mins for a v. simple lunch for 2 people). Drinks order lost. Wrong food order then came. No cutlery brought so waited even longer before we could eat. No apology from owner. No offer of a discount or free drinks...

We went to Cafe No. 4 for my daughters 11th birthday with a few of her friends. The afternoon tea was amazing - really delicious food and great service. A friendly, relaxed atmosphere but still felt like a special occasion. Highly recommend

Last week whilst visiting Horsham we came upon the beautiful “hidden gem”. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was unpretentious and exceptional at the same time. A lovely little place to stop for breakfast or lunch. We will certainly be back.
