The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in London

The spot looks great but the food is average. We ordered 3 items from the menu - returned one because it didn't taste good at all.

Abbiamo cenato la prima sera spesa a Londra. Piacevole sorpresa. Il locale è molto grande, molto particolare e d'atmosfera. Abbiamo preso la carne, una pizza e calamari fritti. Tutto molto buono. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Narenj Resturant is under new management and the name also changed to “Persian riverside site Resturant and bar formerly Narenj. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly , attentive and welcoming. We liked it so much that we bought food to take home too. I highly recommend this beautiful Resturant to all my friends and family .

Treated our son, son in law and 1, 1/2 year old grandson. They loved it. So sad to see that it is permanently closed as wanted to treat them again and they live in Muswell Hill.

Este es el mejor kebab de Londres. El pan es tan agradable y mantecoso y la carne es genial. También grandes precios y la ensalada gratis es un bono.

The mixed shawarma was unbelievable and the staff are marvelous. This is my go to restaurant in South Kensington for dinner on my way back to the hotel. The portions are so large I have a before bed snack. The food reminds me of months in Lebanon…

Great place for more than 4 people dinner/lunch. Taste is really good especially the paellas. This is our 3rd time here and we always enjoy it very much. Great service as well!

Service was slow and our main meals (2 x targines) were very mid. Not particularly flavourful and lacking in anything beyond the main ingredients (chicken/lamb). Babganosh starter was good tho.

It would have been a good night had it not been for the unprofessional attitude of the manager, Having looked at the menu on their website, we decided to book for a team dinner as the prices fit within our budget - The weekday menu is advertised as £17.50 for 2 courses and £22.00 for 3 courses. The meal was OK, and the service was great (I do feel bad for the waitress giving a 1 star review) the problems arose when the bill arrived. You get presented with a blank piece of paper apart from the total, no breakdown of meals or prices, and it was far higher than it should have been. In our party of 18, 10 people had 2 courses and 8 had 3 courses and they tried to charge almost £550.00. I questioned this and was told I would need to speak with the manager. When he came out of the kitchen, he didn't walk further than the door so we had to go over to him (this conversation wouldn't have disturbed any other customers as we were the only people there). From the start he was incredibly rude and when we questioned the amount of the bill he insisted it was correct. We tried to explain that the menu on the website very clearly stated different prices and even checked it whilst we were talking just in case anything had changed - it hadn't but he didn't care. He continued to insist the price charged was correct, which was £27.50 per person, we pointed out that was the price advertised on the weekend menu and we were there on a Wednesday. His response to this they were old prices and how we can we expect to only pay £17.50 or £22.00. He couldn't tell me how we were meant to be aware of this without being told. He continued to argue, yell and dismiss all of our questions, until he stomped off into the kitchen yelling over his shoulder for us to get out! We settled the bill, at the advertised price, and ensured that the service charge added did go to the staff, but this encounter did overshadow the evening and is not how I expect any customer to be treated in a restaurant. I would not recomend going to this restaurant based on the way the manager treats people who have the "audacity" to question him, if you do decide to go make you check the prices before ordering anything. The picture below shows the menu the night we were there and I have checked their website again today and the weekday menu is still advertised at the same price.

La comida era buena, pero todo lo demás fue un desastre total - Éramos un grupo grande, nos recibió el pesebre del ventilador, que se presentó y prometió cuidarnos, se fueron como su turno terminó sin entrega a nadie más Nos dieron una mesa demasiado pequeña para nuestro grupo, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba medio vacío. -Tuvimos que pedir todo 2 - 3 veces, como agua, pan, bebidas... etc, y muchos artículos nunca se entregaron -No teníamos ni idea de quién es gerente, supervisor, camarero o limpiador, solo mucha gente corriendo por ahí desorganizada. Personal inexperto, que evidente de cómo manchan la suciedad en lugar de limpiarla, o pidiéndome que encuentre espacio en la mesa cuando sirven los platos en lugar de dos personas trabajando juntas para servirnos. - Optamos por el menú establecido, y los espacios entre cursos era demasiado largo, como 20 - 25 m a pesar de nuestra solicitud repetida de agilizar -Las porciones del menú eran demasiado pequeñas, tuvimos que pedir un montón de comida Ala carta. -Hemos preguntado por el gerente 3 - 4 veces, y solo lo vi cuando recibí la cuenta al final, donde descargué brevemente mi frustración pero tuve que irme para escoltar a mis invitados fuera. No entiendo todo el bombo alrededor del restaurante, claramente es solo una campaña en las redes sociales ya que muchas de las reseñas se quejan del mismo tema. Debería haber leído las críticas antes de reservar. Ayman

went in there last night withe my daughter and son in law after it was recommended by someone ld already eaten which turned out to be a blessing they had lamb chops with chips and some chicken wings on the side which were straight out of the microwave which you could hear pinging as there were no other diners in there and for some reason the chips were piping in the middle and cold on the outside my son in law told im presuming he was the owner that it was the worst turkish restaurant hed ever been in. and that how can you be happy serving up that to people no apology and not even a gesture of taking something off the seventy pound bill would give this place the widest of births and now we know why it was empty and not the piss poor excuse given that it was all covids fault. i had covid and it was more of a pleasent experience than this place.

Absolutely delicious food and prices for the size of food were really affordable. Friendly staff and lovely upmarket interior design. Definitely coming back!

Tuvimos algunos cócteles encantadores aquí, Sandys abrió el día de San Valentín y cerró debido a COVID. Sobrevivió pero se restringió a tener música en vivo. Una visita es imprescindible. Personal amigable.

Was very shocked, worried and concerned to see that all of the kitchen knifes (may I add, EXTREMELY LARGE) were not only on show to the public and anyone walking past/eating in the restaurant, they were actually easily accessible…no gate nor barrier to stop someone running in and grabbing one if they really wanted to. An awful way to think, but unfortunately in the world we live in, this is not safe . I was devastated and shocked to see it… especially given this venue is so busy and inside the o2 area! Better safety precautions should be taken to protect staff, customers and the general public. Absolutely disgusting to be honest. The food we ate was lovely, as chipotle always is, but this finding alone makes this business obviously inept.

Gran lugar! ¡Buena comida! Excelente servicio! 😊 Las sopas de lentejas fueron increíbles. ¡Mi capuchino no solo era bonito, sino que era increíble!
