Amazing Sunday roast here with friends for a birthday meal. Lacks service as they tried to say I'd booked for 7 when all the time it had been 8 and they wouldn't let it go! A fabulous roast, a 9/10 - lost a point on the pale roasties but we will be back. Thank you so much xx

Love this gastropub and have been several times. Menu choice very good, food is excellent, service friendly, knowledgeable and very good. Tonight however was a real disappointment. Chicken Kiev was almost burnt so very dry, chicken bap with bacon was tasty but the bun was dry, crumbly and felt stale. Friend had spinach, walnut and ricotta pie - pie pastry was good but the pie was all spinach, a couple of walnuts and not really a good combination in flavour. Off night perhaps. To add patrons behind us had 2 dogs which barked the entire time we were there which was incredibly annoying.

We have had several meals here now, and all have been outstanding. Yesterday, we had the Wild Garlic Chicken Kiev, which also did not disappoint. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. We also had the pleasure of meeting James Blunt. We will definitely come here again on our next visit to London.

I love this pub I wish JB would open more pubs as this is the standard all other pubs should aspire to. The food is excellent and the place is always busy. The only thing I wish is that they could do something about the acoustics in the dining room - the wood floor makes it very noisy. If Carlsberg made pubs they’d be like this.

Absolutely incredible service - we were welcomed by the lovely hostess even though we had not booked, she was brilliant! Myself and my daughter enjoyed the lunch and the playlist (well chosen Mr Danager ) 😂 I have booked to return with my son and his girlfriend - as a birthday treat for me - can’t wait x

The team at fox and pheasant provided a first class service for a 24 person retirement event, throughout the planning process they were proactive and supportive,food and team on the day were excellent.... with Rafaela coming in on Day off to help support I would recommend without hesitation

Wonderful place. We first planned to attend their Sunday Roast and had reservations. That morning I woke up sick and had to cancel before the 24hour limit and got hit for £20. They refunded it because of the circumstances. We returned for dinner where we enjoyed a pint in the pub before heading downstairs to a glass-topped terrace. We received perfect friendly and attentive service and great food and drink. If I lived here, I’d be a regular. Highly recommended.

The staff are insufferable. I handed them an American driver’s license which they promptly returned and claimed “didn’t work” which is ridiculous considering that I’m three years over the drinking age in my home country. I asked why and he said, “i need a driver’s license or passport” to which I replied “that is a drivers license.” This insipid bartender had the gall to mockingly shake his head and tell me “not for us it’s not.” Avoid like grim death. Appalling behavior. Not the way to treat paying customers. Won’t be going within a half mile of this place

Small pub, small dining room, but big atmosphere and gastro pub taste! Tho celebrity owned, not precious, but authentic, including locals playing darts in pub. Snag a reservation and enjoy!

Delicious gastro-pub rumoured to be owned by none other than Twitter legend, James Blunt. The food is absolutely fantastic (do not miss out on the honey maple chipolatas they’re a must have), and the service great. The only drawback is that the place an absolute zoo on days Chelsea FC play at home. Otherwise it’s absolutely top class!

Lively place, nice pint of cider. The fish & chips were tremendous as was the wee salmon canopé that I was given. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Next time I come down to London, I'll be back.

This lovely little pub offers the British pub classics that I like.There was a nice cosy atmosphere and the staff and service provided was great. The food was mostly nice, however the scotch egg and burger meat was over salted so I didn't enjoy the food as much as I'd hoped. My friend had the fish and chips and loved it, so it wasn't all bad.

Omg. Incredible pub. I think it’s now my favourite pub ever. All of the food was amazing, and the chipolatas and truffle toast were probably the highlights along with the mousse. Cocktails were fabulous too. I can’t wait to go back.

Came as part of a large party upstairs on Saturday, the evening was lovely, the food delicious and we were very well looked after by the lovely Victoria who was on point all night. Defo will recommend it in future

I was in London on a business trip in December and for our last business meeting/meal I sneakily chose The Fox and Pheasant because 1. James Blunt has been my Apple Music number one most listen to artist since I was a tween, and 2, everyone asked to have something at a pub. Everything about this place was 20 out of 10. The service, the food, the drinks. I was with a party of all male Americans, and each one said it was the best meal we had for the entire trip. Thank you F&P crew for a lovely time and meal! J.B. A great tucked away gem with 2/3 craft ales in a front room atmosphere in Chelsea. Not cheap £20 for Fish n chips but would I go again....... Yes and recommend it. No food when the football is on.

The private room created the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful wedding lunch. I couldn’t praise the waitress more, highly efficient and smiled throughout.

I rented the upstairs private room for my work Christmas party, the Fox & Pheasant were extremely accomodating and attentive and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I wanted to bring my own table decorations and a member of the staff, Tania, voluntarily assisted me to put them out in time, she attended the table of 19 people all night and was very polite and helpful. I think one of the biggest things to say about this private room and about the whole pub in general, is that the atmosphere is very cosy and full of character. They had the open fire on and had a Christmas tree and wreaths all decorated impeccably. I was in contact with Rafaela who was quick to reply and keen to be helpful during the whole booking process. The booking system was very easy to use. I will definitely be returning and judging by how happy my colleagues were, I am certain they will be as well.

A gem of a pub. You might be confused you were in a remote country pub, instead of next to Stamford Bridge.

My favorite pub in London by far. Dining in the conservatory area is lovely, staff is super welcoming, food is great (had the Sunday roast) and selection of beers is diverse with a few ones that we don't see often in other pubs. Space outdoor for a drink under the sun in the afternoon as well.

Went with two friends for an informal dinner. I liked the food and drinks and it is a nice place tucked away behind the Brompton Cemetery. We were in the conservatory in the back, which has less of a "pub feel", but is still nice. I liked the fact that they sell both a bar menu (e.g. burger, fish and chips, etc.) while also having some more sophisticated (and pricy) food options. It does get a bit loud as the room is relatively small and they did not have some of the beers available, which was not great but overall a nice and enjoyable evening.

I think this is my new favourite little local! Friendly atmosphere with cosy feel. You can get good pub food or dine in the gorgeous indoor courtyard for and upscale experience. Great gluten free menu! They even have DAM zero% on tap!

Very cosy pub with nice decor and conservatory, located on a quiet street. We came for a Sunday roast which was great, and a few starters. Would definitely recommend!

I had a rather disheartening experience at The Fox and Peasant, even though service was quick and food was good. After we ordered a few beers and appetiser member of the staff's insistence on ordering a main course was excessive and off-putting, approaching our table three times to pressure us. It escalated when a staff member misleadingly claimed that this requirement had been communicated during the booking call, which was not the case. After our evening was ruined we decided to leave. The whole ordeal left a sour taste, feeling more like an "Order and move on" policy prioritized over genuine customer care and experience.

I recently visited The Fox and Pheasant with friends for a Sunday roast, and it was a fantastic experience. We had a really good time, and the food was delicious. It's definitely a place I would return to without hesitation.

Pro: Aesthetically lovely pub, Good food. Cons: No changing table for baby. Guinness should be better.

I adore everything about the fox and pheasant. It is authentic, cosy with delicious food and top staff. Recently hosted a birthday there too, great atmosphere and service throughout. Nothing beats a F&P roast too.

What a lovely evening for my mum’s birthday. It’s her favourite place in London and everyone is so nice and the food amazing. Shout out to Tanya whose smile and cheerfulness made our evening even better!

We've eaten here a few times and the food is always good. Regrettably last night's dishes were much too salty. All these dishes were very salty - potted trout, steak, pheasant & grilled octopus. We couldn't finish them. We have a booking for a birthday dinner next week with friends who have not eaten there, and we hope this situation will be addressed and rectified. Service, on the other hand was good and attentive.

I make a beeline for this hidden gem whenever I'm in London. Beer, staff and atmosphere all spot on. A good, old-fashioned little pub.

One of the best places I've eaten in a while! Absolutely outstanding. The staff were all extremely friendly and polite in a really down to Earth way. I can highly recommend the scotch egg, and the sirloin steak; both of which were perfection. We managed to get a walk in table for 4. It is on the more expensive side, but worth it for the quality of food and service received. The conservatory has a really nice atmosphere and can be open air or enclosed as the weather dictates. Good selection of drinks including cocktails

I had a great time here waiting for the Chelsea match.

Horrible customer service - was ill and asked to rebook my booking. They refused and charged me £60. I understand a cancellation policy but there needs to be circumstantial exceptions. Will never set my foot there again and not the way to gain potential new customers. RESPONE: Yes it upset me as I am not one to just skip a booking and as I am too in the industry I understand and implement leniency when needed I more than happily would have spent more than £60 if you would have agreed to rebook to another date. I was ILL and it was a lunch that I have arranged so hence why no one would come without me. I called in the morning, without a response so I could only assume that it was because you did not open until 12pm. I received a mocking and atrocious attitude on the phone. I vomited around 10 times that day with a stomach bug and there’s zero understanding from your side, I also assume that’s not the state you would like your clientele to arrive in as I assume that you care for the ambiance of the other customers. 0 empathy or customer service. I am sure as you mentioned on the phone that you were able to fill the table so no need to try and charge me 20 times(crazy!!) for the cancellation fee until you succeeded. If you’re willing to refund me I’m willing to remove my review. Thanks

Delicious burgers and cold beers, just what we needed after a travel day. You do need a booking if you want to sit in the beer garden for dinner

Went here one night because it was near our Air BNB and could not have been more pleased! It’s such a cutely decorated pub and the food is all delicious. Get the peach tart for dessert, you won’t regret it!

We had dinner in the garden patio which is really special.Very friendly staff and excellent food. We had the Cabrese salad, followed by sirloin steak and the fish of the day (steambream?) And the best espresso of the city. Also had a bottle of the Gavi. Food allergies are taken seriously. Will definitely be back for more....thank you.

Favourite pub in London- great hearty pub food with alternatives for those wanting a slightly lighter bite. Good wine list and cocktails/ beers. We like it so much we chose to rent the private space upstairs for our wedding engagement drinks!

Excellent little pub! If you’re looking for homely cooked food, the stuff that gives you a big hug this is the place for you. Great, cosy environment with excellent service. I could sit there all day drinking beer and those scotch eggs! We will be back to try out the Sunday roast for sure!

Very tastefully put together, with lovely, warm decor. A truly British old school pub in the middle of London. The food was delicious - Mushroom and Camembert Brioche toast was particularly good, and trying to replicate at home. Great location for a date night meal.

By far the best roast I’ve had outside of home-cooked! The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the booths are perfect for bigger groups. Pub was lovely and great for a post-drink. Everything was great!

This lovely pub is a hidden gem nestled in a private road which is worth a stroll. While the pub itself and the service were impeccable I wished they had a more extended menu when it comes to vegetarian options. Aside for that, do go and enjoy what is one of the most characteristic pubs of London

Excellent menu and an 'Old Chelsea' feel (family restaurants like Glaisters or Brinkley's in Hollywood Road, which have been disappearing in recent years from Chelsea and Fulham). Wonderful glazed garden section at the back and lovely informal feel. Friendly staff - not the "haven't you booked?' snobbishness certain popular Kings Road 'clubby' restaurants like to affect. Booking - especially for the garden area - is probably essential (but worth it - and it'll probably be even better is summer: a quiet find in an otherwise buzzing area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Fox and Pheasant. Service and atmosphere was amazing. Menu is tidy and has some gorgeous options. Food was amazing too had the duck and the chicken &rabbit pie washed down with some cocktails and the own brand lager
