Donner wrap was Very tasty but very disappointed with the meat portion inside it there was more mix salad which i ordered inside then meat please less salad and more meat next time thanks

I ordered on Uber eats. Efes is a well known chain of Turkish restaurants but the name was let down today. My food was stale and unedible it had quite a smell to it too. Will not be ordering from you again.

I have ordered the through Uber eats the door so bad, the rice gone off and was soggy the meat was old cold and taste less, worst food I have tried. I would not recommend to order food from there.

Ordered food on Uber Eats for delivery and made a mistake with the order. Immediately phoned the restaurant and asked to change the order, actually trying to change to an item that was more expensive. Guy fobbed mre off with 'call Uber and they will sort it out'. This is of course nonsense, there is no number to call Uber in that way and no way they would be able to change an order which was about to be sent for delivery in 10 minutes or so. Guy was literally in the restaurant and didn't try and help. Shows how much you clearly care about your customers.

Delicious and authentic turkish food. Had the Halep kebab which was very good. Free bread, dip, salad and tea. Appreciate that they warmed the bread.

Food tasted good but the 3 chicken soup ordered were delivered in foil containers with card lids. The foil container part got squashed inwards from bottom and card lids drenched and leaked all the liquid soup at the bottom of the bag which also leaked and made a mess! Only thing left were the pasta and chicken. The kebab wraps were rolled in paper were also covered in the leaked soup as everything was delivered in one carrier bag. Soups/liquids need to be delivered in secure containers.

Far too bland the food compared to other Turkish restaurants. They need a refresh

Called this restaurant before placing an order on Just Eat, and they promised me they could replace a shish in a mixed kebab with a doner, and asked me to add this to the order note. Shockingly, they didn’t read my note. When I received the order, I called the restaurant, but they claimed they didn’t receive the note. Ironically, I read out my note printed on the order receipt, and then they said they couldn’t do it. A bunch of liars.

Overpriced average food. The best dishes were the salads and cold sides and ever they were overpriced. Turkish restaurant were known for their generosity in portions but now it is over priced with smaller portions.

Iv never waited for food for 1 hour and 50minutes before and when the food came it was cold and did not tastegreat. Was disappointed but they did provide free bread which they didn’t need to but as it was cold it was not as nice as if it was warm

My partner is Turkish and together we eat a lot of Turkish food all over the world including in Turkey itself. I have been to many high end and recommended Turkish restaurants in London, but for me this place has the most authentic Turkish food in London. I really enjoyed the chicken İskender and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

To our great disappointment, the food turned out to be completely tasteless. We ordered lamb shashlik and a kebab mix. The shashlik was dry, the meat tough and absolutely not juicy. There was no feeling of a freshly prepared aromatic dish. The prices are absolutely not justified by the quality. We are disappointed.

Lamb doner wrap was fairly tasty after heating it in the microwave because it came cold even though delivery was quick. No chilli and garlic sauce dip included, no sauces. I was thinking they gave chilli and garlic in that container but it was free dessert included so thank you for that but I needed chilli and garlic. Thank you.

This restaurant was a letdown on multiple fronts. The pricing is exorbitant, with little to justify the cost. The toilets were unpleasantly stinky, adding to the overall poor experience. Service was lackluster, particularly for the price point. After serving the food, there was no further attention or care from the staff. For the high cost, you’d expect excellent and attentive service, but it was completely missing. For large group bookings, there was a frustrating lack of transparency with the bill and service charge. No itemised receipt was provided, and they didn’t clarify how much each person was being charged. This lack of communication is unacceptable and leaves customers feeling overcharged and undervalued. Overall, this place is simply not worth the money. The high prices don’t align with the quality of food or service. Don’t bother going—you’ll find much better value and service elsewhere.

We visited this restaurant for a staff Christmas lunch with a group of 15 people, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. I was hesitant to come here as I know the food is overpriced for what is served, and my experience re-confirmed this. I ordered a chicken wrap with chips and a Coke, and the total came to £20, including a service charge. This seemed steep, especially given the quality of the food. My wrap was cut into two portions, but only one half contained chicken, while the other was filled with salad. This lack of balance in the dish was frustrating and felt like poor attention to detail, especially for the price. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. While we all paid for our own food, the cashier did not clarify that a service charge was included or explain how much it was. Considering the minimal service provided—waiters only brought the food to the table—the added charge felt unjustified. Middle Eastern cuisine typically relies on fresh ingredients and precise preparation, especially at this price point, and this restaurant failed to deliver. For what we paid, I expected a higher standard of food and service. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place. There are better options out there for Middle Eastern food that offer better quality and value for money. Avoid this restaurant if you're looking for a satisfying and well-priced meal.

Food and service is good but it's true that it's overpriced. I paid for a mix donner wrap and a Fanta, eating in £19.80.

I had good experience with their other branch In Aldgate but this one in mile end was disappointing. The chicken doner was hard and a bit dry and didn't taste like fresh doner at all, it was ratherpainful to eat, bread wasn't great either however, the rice was perfect. Service wasn't great but not bad either.

Food was lovely but let down by the time it took to deliver and food spillage during delivery.…took 1.5 hours to dispatch the order. The delivery time kept changing, even though app shows drivers at the restaurant but once driver received the food it came quite quickly. Food was lukewarm and unfortunately 1 of the soup box was completely dented in and food spilled came out inside the bag.

One of the best branches of Efes in London. Whenever we come here the food is always great. I would recommend trying different options on the menu not only kebabs. There is a great selection of dishes and you can be nicely surprised. 👏🏼

Mi amigo y yo paramos aquí para un aperitivo nocturno. El primer hombre que nos sirvió fue encantador, sin embargo, el otro hombre que nos preguntó si queríamos ensalada fue honestamente tan grosero. Dijimos que sí a la ensalada y nos gritó sin razón. Esto me pareció extremadamente irrespetuoso y francamente inaceptable. Era como si le estuviéramos molestando y él solo quería que su turno terminara. ¿Todo lo que queríamos era un kebab? No es así como tratas a tus clientes. Debido a esto, nunca volveremos. El personal necesita entrenamiento en decoro inmediatamente. Y la comida era media en el mejor de los casos.

I have just had such a wonderful beef stew from here. The aubergine and beef just melt in your mouth and the stew is just the perfect combo. The staff are welcoming and cheerful. I Highly recommend a visit there.

Outstanding service. After Uber Eats tried to deliver wrong order Efes delivered the correct order themselves and when I explained that Uber had refunded me they refused to take payment so I had my dinner on the house. Great customer service and of course the food is outstanding. Love Efes

I love Turkish Bread! Not sure what I got served. The bread felt as if it had been defrosted and I never experienced anything like it. My medium lamb shish was a joke consisting of 4 minuscule cubes of lamb. I spent 20 quid on better and more food. Still, the bread was the most disappointing

This place has the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. This was a welfare lunch from work so we were about 14 people. 5 people decided to order seperately and 9 of us ordered the 5 people and 4 people mixed grill. The guy that got the order was rude but on top of that he accidentally brought a 5 people and 6 people mixed grill which of course we didn't realise. He came whilst we were eating and asked me to confirm the order. I showed him which mixed grills we had order and he told me he made a mistake and brought the wrong ones. Instead of owing his mistake he tried to make me agree to the wrong order which I didn't. He then went on to the screen and I assumed he amended his error. When we asked for the bill, to my surprised, he had charged the 5 and 6 people mixed grill. When we asked him to fix the error his response was "But you ate it". And that was while we were prepping a take away box! No apology, nothing just rudeness. We then asked for the service charge to be taken off and they declined to do that. Another waitress came and tried to mitigate the issue but offering a small discount (still more expensive that it would have been) along with tea and dessert. I am utterly shocked with the lack of professionalism and the rudeness of this guy. He should certainly not be working in hospitality. We are obviously never going back. It's a shame because the food itself was good.

Had a lovely and very inexpensive meal here 2 days ago (£40 for 2, 2 courses). Food very tasty (free salad and bread, free rice pudding) choices clear as all food pictured on menu. Staff very helpful. BYOB (£3 corkage for wine) extensive soft drinks. Attractive lighting.

got the kofte and the wings, the quality of the ingredients is good but the level of salt in everything is at a level verging on the inedible. the chef has lost his mind, and the other staff are probably not trying the food themselves, why this extreme level of salt?

Good place foe halal food, well done Turkish recipes. Ordered adana (10/10), kebab (8/10) which was more like shawema not real lambs, and meat pie. Portions are generous and they serve appetisers at the beginning. Will definitely recommend the place

My family and I used to always go to Efes, but the last few times we've ordered takeaways, we've encountered issues. The first time, we found a sting inside our food, and today, we ordered 6 lahmacuns with sauces inside, asking for them to be juicy. However, we received dry food with no sauces or lemon, just salad and lots of onions. As a result, we all ended up with heartburn and discomfort. Won’t be coming back again

A year ago, the service and food was good. My last experience there was terrible. The starters came out of a jar or tin we were told by staff. After we complained about the slop presented to us as food. We sent back the olive's. And should of sent back two more starters. But was curious to see how bad they were. The main we noticed certain cut backs had been made. Even down to only a chilli top and stork placed on the plate. Instead of a whole chilli. Staff attitudes were poor and were reluctant to answer some simple questions. Standing across the restaurant and having to have conversation with them by talking loudly. I do not recommend any of the starters. Whole experience was awful
