My husband had been craving lamb and they did not disappoint! From our first bite to the last, everything was perfectly perfect! Another review said it was the best lamb chops they had in years, my hubby agrees. I ate half of the mussels and I don't even usually like them! That sauce needed bread to enjoy every drop!! 10/10!!

The Kirvem is a destination for great Mediterranean food. In a quiet area of Limehouse, this restaurant serves very good food for reasonable prices. The lamb dishes are very nicely prepared, served and delicious. Would recommend this place for cozy dining.

Una pequeña búsqueda en el mapa de Google mostró este restaurante, y como estaba a un corto paseo, pensamos en investigar. Reservamos una mesa en línea y nos fuimos. No estaba demasiado ocupado y los menús parecían muy sabrosos. Mi marido no había comido en un restaurante turco antes, así que este fue un viaje de descubrimiento para él. Pedimos dos entrantes para compartir y la calidad de la comida era increíble. El cuidado y la atención prestada a cada detalle fue encantador y disfrutamos de los tres cursos. Cuando llegamos de vuelta a nuestro hotel la noche siguiente que tuvimos. extrañado la cocina de nuevo! Así que volvimos a Kirvem. Otra comida encantadora. El servicio fue impresionante de nuevo y disfrutamos del ambiente. Todo el mundo se preocupó por nuestra experiencia alimentaria y sin duda volveríamos a ir la próxima vez que visitemos Londres. Añadieron un cargo por servicio, pero estábamos encantados de pagar, ya que habríamos dado propina de todos modos.

Maravilloso restaurante, he estado aquí varias veces y wow nunca decepciona. Comida y servicio de primera clase. Llegamos ayer con mi madre habíamos estado en una exposición y decidimos comer aquí, el ambiente no solo es relajante, sino que disfrutamos tanto que decidimos tomar otra botella de vino turco en lugar de ir a otro lugar. Sin duda uno de mis restaurantes favoritos.

The food was extraordinarily good and very well cooked, portions are of very decent size definitely gonna get your money's worth, super friendly and communicative members of staff they even called us in from our cigarette break when the food was ready. Would highly recommend, disappointment is not an option.

I think Kirvem may well be one of the best Turkish restaurants in London. The food was delicious and had a real comfort-food feel to it - everything from the grill was juicy and very nicely flavoured. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the rustic interior gives the place a very cosy and unpretentious vibe. The service was also very quick and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Excellent Mediterranean restaurant with great ribeye steak options. Portion sizes are huge for the price, and speedy fast attentive service. Good place to have drinks and dinner with friends and family, with a great mellow ambiance. Parking is available on the side roads with Restuarant being located on the Main Street.

My wife and I had dinner here last night.. I went for the vine leaves followed by mixed grill and my wife had sukuk and halloumi to start followed by chicken shish.. all the dishes were beautifully cooked / prepared and the cocktails we had were top notch! Owner was friendly and attentive and his secret recipe complimentary almond liquor was delicious! Best Turkish restaurant we have visited and we've been to a few.. highly recommend!

Corta parada en Limehouse, elegí este restaurante debido a la cercanía a donde me alojaba. Tropieza con una joya, un interior encantador, y una cálida bienvenida. Tuve un entrante y un principal ( Halloumi y luego un Shish ) , ambos somos excelentes. Normalmente no tendría un desierto a mitad de semana, pero animado por la gran comida que ya había comido, pedí desierto también!

We had a mixed grill and a chicken kebab. The portion sizes were good. The food was good. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Overall, the place is a solid choice if you're in the area but I wouldn't say it was mind-blowing.

With a desire for Turkish, my family and I headed to Commercial Road to try a new restaurant, and the experience was a warming one. The restaurant was quiet, mostly due to the fact it was late evening on a Wednesday, but it was pleasant for us. The service was wonderful from the staff still there and the food was most certainly delicious. We ordered a platter to share between the four of us, and I must say the Lamb Ribs have got to be the most mouth-watering ribs I have ever tasted, the stand out of the platter. The Lamb Chops were a close second followed by the humus and bread. I will say though, that you might find the food too salty depending on your preference. For me I loved it but the rest of my family wasn't too keen on it. Prices are also a bit on the high end (£5 for a soft drink is not it), but otherwise for the most part I'd say this restaurant was worth the outing for.

Kirvem is a local favourite and we eat here often. Ali and the team always give us a warm welcome and the food is always fresh, tasty, and home made. Our most recent visit, two dishes were stand outs. I had the Kirvem Special Lamb which was perfectly seasoned and cooked - a new favourite. For the first time, we had a dessert - baked pumpkin. It was outstanding and the tahini was a surprising addition but really made the dish sing. Can’t wait to go back.

A super delicious authentic Turkish restaurant! One of the best we've had, certainly in East London. We were here for a pre show at Troxy and this did not disappoint. The food was cooked fresh and the choices were excellent, would highly recommend going if this is your type of cuisine. The staff were super too. It's a very short walk from Limehouse station, which is on the DLR line, it's super easy to get to as well. We shared the mixed grill as a main, had a few starters which included the halloumi. A solid A***** LDT x

I spent a year at Limehouse, but now I regret why I didn't come to this store sooner. Not only the atmosphere of the restaurant, but also the service of the staff was excellent, and I was completely satisfied with the taste. The red wine recommended by the owner was from Turkey, and had just the right weight, mellowness, and berry aroma that went well with the meat. Although it was reasonably priced, I was very satisfied. We recommend this store when you stop by Limehouse!

Was in the area and decided to pop in for dinner and WOW WHAT A TREAT! The food was INCREDIBLE! Very clean environment, attentive staff and catered for my dietary requirements, even made me a special salad. If I lived locally, I would definitely make this a regular place to visit.

Whenever we have a family meal we come to this restaurant, there’s only one thing bette than the food here and that’s the service. We always feel welcome and nothing is ever to much.

The place is good but in my flat the vegetables had cardboard and they took a long time.

Food is ok. The rice isn’t that tasty. The meat is 7/10. The service was quite good and friendly. Prices are slightly higher than similar restaurant in that area. Nice atmosphere overall.

I have been living about 500m away from this place and I regret going there until 2 days ago. Spectacular service, I couldn't be happier with the treatment we got and the level of attention the couple I was hosting received. One of them has a very specific set of food allergies and the waitress always treated us great. I really really hope management read this and somehow reward the attention of the waitress that helped us. The food was great and the amount fair for the prices they have, it's not the cheapest but the amount is plenty and craftsmanship superb. I will be going again soon. What a pleasant surprise a restaurant of this quality in an area that is so boring and ugly, haha.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food was a little pricier than we would usually pay but was absolutely delicious and huge portions as well. They brought us free bread, cheese and olives as well and the cheese was amazing and made in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was speedy. The restaurant is clean and has great vibes, just the right balance of background noise and quiet. Would love to come back again!

We found this gem on the fly! The food was very fresh and tasty. We also had a nice starter of olives & fresh hot bread, on the house. We were served by a lovely waitress called Aiysha, she was very friendly and polite, from Antalya. Thanks for a beautiful dining experience, welcoming respectful staff. We will definitely come back!

Actually pretty spectacular Turkish food in a very nice setting with cool music. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Cocktails were good too and great value for £10.

I fancied something different, so after a quick map check, I found this Turkish restaurant. The reviews were great but it was a 30 minute walk after a long day. I'm so glad I went. The place is beautifully decorated. The lady who looked after me was very attentive but not annoyingly so. She was a delight. The food was amazing and I thought it was reasonably priced. (I'm a Londoner but have lived abroad for 6 years so found some places a bit pricey!) I highly recommend visiting and enjoying a relaxed meal in a relaxing atmosphere.

Nice and cozy restaurant very close to the station. We had a dinner there for our Team of 18 and the staff was very attentive and flexible with all our demands (even the last-minute changes😊). After 26 miles of running earlier in the day for the London marathon, and staying in the nearby Limehouse Library Hotel, Kirvem was the perfect post-race reward on our doorstep. My wife and I both had the mixed grill. Fantastic food, much needed drink, and a warm welcome and attentive service from all staff. We couldn't have asked for more and would thoroughly recommend.

This was a great find! We had a selection of hot meze, all of which were great. Coupled with Takut, a Turkish wine, we had a great meal. Staff, atmosphere, all were great too. Would definitely recommend Kirvem for lunch or dinner.

We are Turkish , we loved this restaurant’s atmosphere, food and service. Iskender was sensational :) we ordered soup of the day (lentil) , lahmacun ( it was more like starter), iskender and traditional Turkish pumpkin dessert. All were good, delicious :)

Absolutely racist. It is such a shame that in 2024 racism still exist. My family and I just came from an amazing worship night and decided to come in for dinner. The lovely waiter told us to take a seat whilst waiting for our table, within one second the manager ran towards us and was extremely aggressive and annoyed at the fact that we took a seat. He proceeded to treated us terribly , he said why are we sitting and not standing up “this is a restaurant you know” he then further said ‘now that you’ve sat there do you think I’d want my other customers to sit there’ then he became even more aggressive and said “this is a restaurant you know” the most interesting thing about this all is I am a lawyer and humbly can afford the whole restaurant, to be frank, I’ve sat at restaurant higher than this. It’s such a shame that my family was treated like this simply based on our skin and nothing else and to top it, everyone in the restaurant was white at the time. At no point we’re we rude and we even attempted to make him aware of how he treated us , to make matters worse as we left due to feeling extremely uncomfortable, he held the door open with a smile. Please think before spending your money , whether you are white or black , please be aware where your money is going and the kind of person it’s going too. It so sad that people still behave like this.
