The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in London

Changed name to Olea but pretty much the same (tax dodge?) Food nice but found things added on to bill that should have been part if the deal. Not convinced it was an accident.

Bare dardans about, recommend the cup cake, shisha is taran #piglet&baggins; tbh also on bonfire night hayati hosted an excellent fireworks display. Hold tight my g ayman. #habibiplease

My friend and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch one afternoon. It was very quiet inside, we weren’t even sure if it was open at first. We ordered from the set lunch menu, which was good value. Service was reasonably quick, although not terribly friendly. The food was good, very large portions. The toilet facilities downstairs weren’t the best. It was ok for a quick lunchtime visit but I wouldn’t like to go for dinner, I would want better service and atmosphere for the evening.

A friend and I stopped off here after a trip to the theatre with three kids in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating (especially Maria); they even gave the kids colouring books and crayons! The place was comfortable with enough space so it didn't feel crowded. The food (we had fresh muffins and wafers) was yummy and reasonably priced. The chai latte I had was perfect. Most importantly for a parent, the loos were clean and had handsoap; a rarity in Central London! I would highly recommend making this your pitstop when you need to sit back and have a break.

Hugely overcooked and stone cold. They should pay you to stomach this wretched product. A huge disappointment after a surprisingly massive wait for delivery (1.5 hrs)

Amo este lugar. Entramos, nos preguntaron qué nos gustó y nos obsequiaron con la más increíble variedad de comida. No comimos carne, así que era todo veggie y pescado, pero la carne parecía y olía increíble. El servicio no podría ser mejor y realmente se sintió como si hubiéramos vuelto al Líbano. También increíble valor.

I cannot fathom how these restaurants aren’t the gold standard of how all restaurants should be measured in 2025. I get that the Michelin star used to be how everyone agreed that elite dining was defined, but Ottolenghi should be the benchmark for great food at any cost. The food is exciting, healthy and unusual without you even realising.

Lovely neighbourhood pub; fireplaces in the winter and a beautiful garden in the spring/summer. Excellent chips!
