If you want to spend a minimum of £11 for an OK glass of wine or splash out £500 for a bottle of champagne this is the place for you. The pasta was perfectly cooked but the ragu was overly salty for my taste. The salad was excellent and I am told the artichokes were pretty decent. Service was good and the room is pleasant but it’s expensive for what it is. The fact that it’s surrounded by offices filled with bankers and fancy lawyers might explain that.

A Gem in the City ( Old spitafields market). Delicious food, top notch service and wide wine list, able to please all crowds. We had an amazing pasta with white truffle paired with a delicious nebbiolo. Dont miss it!!

We really enjoyed our two course meal at Bottles. We were looking for something a bit different to celebrate the evening before a graduation and although the menu at Bottles isn't large we somehow found something for everyone including one vegetarian and one on the keto diet. Puddings were also great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the vicinity, maybe the only minus was that it got a bit loud later in the evening. But we found a lot of places were like this in London!

We popped in Mid-Afternoon in the week, was nice and quiet and we were able to enjoy a nice 2 course meal. Fresh ingredients and great flavours. So don't just think this place is a Wine Bar, the food menu is great also. Super nice service and lovely atmosphere, will return

Bottles in Spitalfields Market is a gem of a restaurant that left us with an unforgettable dining experience. From start to finish, the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. To begin, we indulged in the Sourdough & Ciauscolo as our starter. The spreadable ciauscolo was a delightful surprise, and we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing it for the first time. It set the tone for a memorable meal ahead. For our vegetarian option, we opted for the Arancini cime di rapa. The dish was bursting with flavour, and the gooey scamorza inside was a delightful touch. Even as meat lovers, we found this vegetarian dish to be incredibly satisfying. The Mazara pink prawns carpaccio was a true work of art. Its elegant presentation and subtle flavours, enhanced by a touch of pink peppercorns, left us wanting more. We simply couldn't get enough of this delectable creation. As for the main course, we decided to share the Onglet steak with fries. The meat was cooked to perfection, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs at Bottles. The dish was a true highlight and left us thoroughly impressed. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we indulged in the Tiramisu for dessert. It was so good that one portion wasn't enough, so we ordered two! The Tiramisu was a fitting end to our meal, leaving us with a lingering taste of perfection. The stars of the evening were undoubtedly the wines, expertly recommended by the lovely Stefano, the maitre. We paired our starters with a white Timorasso from Piemonte, which delighted our palates with notes of apricot confit and cooked apples, with a hint of oxidation on the nose. With our main course, we enjoyed a superb Nebbiolo, boasting flavours of red cherries and a subtle touch of anise (Ghemme Paride Chiovini D.O.C.G.). The wine selection at Bottles truly elevated our dining experience. Lastly, we must mention the impeccable service provided by Stefano and the entire staff. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. Overall, our dining experience at Bottles was exceptional. The creative and delicious dishes, outstanding wine selection, and impeccable service all contributed to an unforgettable evening. Whether you're seeking a memorable dinner or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Bottles is a must-visit in Spitalfields Market.

I came in with no expectations. The wines were stunning and the charcuterie was absolutely wonderful. Cheese plates were also incredible. Just what you are looking for -- fresh, well-balanced, unique flavours. Great service and nice ambiance. I'll certainly return on my next trip to London!

Really great place to have good wine and good small plates of food. It was the first time we didn’t get kicked off of our 2 hour reservation, we ended up staying 4 hours and the staff were happy for us to stay on. Thank you for the service, I’ll be back, because I’m a local and I never know where to grab a good glass of wine!

I would like to take exception with the below reviewer, who rated the size of a cheese slice with a lighter, having evidently eaten the whole plate. The cheeseboard was absolutely delicious, filling and beautifully presented, as was the rest of the charcuterie. Unfortunately the wine was universally undrinkable, and very expensive, possibly an issue for a wine bar. Nice staff though.

I've eaten Pilpel falafel pitta for a long time Freshly cooked to order with a good selection of salad. They are still as good as they have always been. If you've not had one and you like Falafel you need to try it. They are much better than many other falafel bars in the area.

Extremely disappointing experience. Have visited a few times and previously enjoyed but this visit will probably be my last. The Sunday Roast was not very flavourful at all however the service was the crux. Honourable mention to ponytail guy who was pleasant until the end where he became very obnoxious and rude as they 'didn't accept card payments' despite having paid previously with card and could see the customer ahead of us paying with a card. Overall, mid-level roast and uncomfortable service, won't be revisiting!

Such bad experience with the £46 menu. Feel so cheated. Started was good but main dishes to share were a con. Chicken thighs cut into 5 pieces for 5 of us. Desserts one dish two things and expected us to share! Other main go to take away get more. We can go to Ivy Asian and get lovely decent food. The waiter did took care of my wife gluten free option which he did a good job. Even Laphet was so much better near it!!!

We booked a table at this restaurant online and had all the expected emails (including one a couple of days before asking us to confirm that we were definitely going). However on arrival we discovered that the restaurant had closed and there was now something else in it's place. I was told that the restaurant had closed over a month ago! All their online booking seems still to be in place, including the emails telling me that I was successfully checked in at the restaurant and the one asking for feedback on my experience! Very misleading. Also very disappointing given that we'd travelled a long way and desperately needed Gluten Free food and there was nothing else suitable in the area that we could find. What a disaster!
