Briki in Islington

La actitud del personal (parece que hice que el gerente me sirviera) fue desagradable apenas ningún contacto visual o reconocimiento de mí más allá de tomar mi orden hasta que le pregunté cómo estaba su día (donde miró brevemente en mi dirección). Así que no hay esfuerzo de servicio al cliente detrás de tomar el pedido y tomar su dinero. El lugar estaba cómodamente ocupado y tenían un gran equipo de personal. Parece haber tensiones en todo el equipo de personal, ya que todos parecían estar cabeza abajo, sin un ambiente acogedor, sino para proporcionar un servicio robótico. O tal vez están emulando la actitud griega arrogante (yo también soy griego) que parecen tener esos griegos londinenses. Pedí café griego que era decente, ya que es difícil de hacer bien en la mayoría de los cafés (Grecia incluida). Solo voy allí cuando estoy en la zona (raramente) por su café griego decente y la vibra de escuchar el idioma griego, ya que es frecuentado por los griegos.

We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. 2 Cappuccinos ordered at the counter, and I paid at the card swipe machine which asked me if I wanted to give a tip... Before I'd actually received the coffees!. The coffee was presented without offering sprinkled chocolate, and in very small cups. It was Luke warm.30 mins After we left we went to Caffe Nero close by, where we ordered cappuccino again, which was served in decent size cups, with chocolate sprinkles offered . The cost was the same as Briki for a far better coffee.

Pěkně na rûžku jsme si dali espresso a skořicový šnek, snad všechny podniky v Londýně jsou úžasné, velmi příjemné.

Haven't been in since v rude lady told me " never do that again" after helping myself to ice. This let's down a cheery local coffee place. But she was so rude and so unrepentant and I emailed to ask for a reason and never got a response. Hence this curmudgeonly review

La terrasse et la salle de ce restaurant sont très sympa .La cuisine est nettement ordinaire ; des tourtes et des patisseries , d'inspiration grecque pour la plupart .On fait longtemps la queue pour être servi .

Recommendations? I surely recommend a chill pill for the main guy whose customer service is less than charming. In theory it’s not a bad place. It’s cluttered and wanna-be-hipster but still has some charm. Forget about the food menu: they hardly have anything listed. The spinach & feta pie was modestly presented but above average in taste. The beetroot and chocolate cake was dense and sinful. However, the atmosphere was tense and sucked. I felt for the humble 2 trainees who were nervously ordered around. They were a lot more pleasant than the guy in charge.

Stopped for a quick drink early morning with my daughter, very friendly staff. Best coffee I've had in a long time and my daughter really enjoyed her hot chocolate! Will definitely stop by again.

Half their menu wasn't available by the time we came there, the staff seemed to be annoyed by even the smallest questions and partly didn't know about the products they were selling... at least in the end it tasted quite good.

I wonder why Briki always has such a long queue. I finally found out that it is because of their excellent. Their Espresso is indeed very good; I tried the Freddo Espresso, and it was deliciously energizing. I am looking forward to tasting their specialties and bakeries on my next visit.

I had a really good greek breakfast Proper Greek experience in London had bougatsa, spanakopita and a slice of tiropita for breakfast accompanied by a lovely freddo cappuccino. Nice environment with very reasonable. prices,good choice if you want to try Greek products in London. Highly recommended!

We visited for a casual lunch on a Friday afternoon. There were 4 of us , each wanting a meal and a drink. They had hardly anything on the menu available & acted like it was my fault .she claimed she had no stock as she was short of staff - not my fault , I didn't hire them . I ordered coffee along with my meal , which the man made . No hello , no thank you , just a strop . When it came to paying the woman rudely asked me ‘ what coffee’ . When I looked confused , she said ‘ what sort of coffee may I ask’ . Well her colleague was standing less than a foot away , still in a strop - could he not provide the information . What a cow! !No wonder she has no staff. I promised another friend I’d bring them back a coffee from our lunch. Needless to say i went across the road , where i was met with a smile and lots of charm. Briki wont see me again . I recommend you go across the road too

Great coffee shop with a large array of pastries. Quick, friendly service. Good vibes. Was slightly concerned by the large amount of waste my small order (tea and a pastry) generated. They don’t seem to use plates or mugs but rather paper and plastic everything, including plastic straws. Not great!

Popped in here mid-afternoon and enjoyed a very well made latte, quickly served. I sat inside on the quirky furniture though there are some outside tables too. All in all a nice find in Exmouth Market.

Quite a quirky cafe in the lovely Exmouth market. You sit at a mish mash of chairs and tables that resemble school furniture. Coffee and cookie I had was good without being out the ordinary and not that cheap.
