Got the new years special dish and the meat was very tender and the sauces were very good. Would recommend and be a returning customer

Kebab was amazing, definitely gonna order again soon! One portion is enough for 2 people, and tastes really good.

We had a late family Boxing Day lunch today at 4pm 6 adults and 4 children - it was first class and the food was excellent

Be aware, The Spice Cabinet has closed down. The website is still active, you can place an order, they will take your money, but no food arrives. Such a shame as the food was amazing when they were open.

Myself and a friend treated ourselves to a "bottomless brunch". The food was amazing, I had the gyros, the service was perfect, our waitress was extremely attentive and refilled our drinks as we finished them and the general atmosphere in the place is brilliant. One of the best dining experiences that I've had in a very long time. Myself and my friend left very happy and more than a little tipsy, it was an amazing way to start the festive season and I'd happily recommend the place to everyone! I absolutely loved it!

Had a great time last night when my wife and I visited the Akeman in Tring yesterday afternoon ( Saturday 21 December 2024 ) This was my first time to the Akeman. We was greeted by Mathew and was, shown to our table. After presenting us with menus he immediately took a drinks order. The drinks arrived very quickly and the waitress then took our food order. To be very honest we were not watching the time and Matthew popped over to apologise for keeping us waiting for our starter and offered to give us an extra starter Free of Charge by means of an apology, again I repeat that we were not watching the clock and had not realised that time was passing very quickly. We declined the F.O.C option as it was NOT a problem to us - we did thank Matthew for his kind offer. Our starter came approx. 10 minutes later - The Cauliflower bites and they were really good. Our main courses came later on and they were lovely too - we had opted for Burgers and again they were great. The atmosphere was good - there was a table of 10 to our right 2 families I think and the children were fairly noisy but this did not affect our meal. We finished our meal and then paid and left. Matthew dealt with our payment and again apologised for the delay, But really there was no need as it did not cause any problems for us whatsoever. Overall we had a lovely meal in a lovely restaurant. Thankyou to Matthew and his team, we shall definitely return

We came here on a Tuesday afternoon and it was great. Didn’t order food so not sure about the food service but we ordered two smoothies and they were both out in about 5 minutes. Nice smoothies and very quiet for the school holidays.

Appalling. Service slow, but polite front of house. Measly portions, cold food (twice), rice cold when put on table. Told not paying for the cold meal and they forgot to take it off. Starter was not complete. Don’t bother going. No manager and chef doesnt seem to care what he prepares.

Ordered large chips and I must say they were the worst chips we had ever had. They were white, hard, and just about warm. You couldn't even put them between bread to disguise the look and taste. £7 in the bin for two large chips, never again.

Top tier coming back from a night out food. Get it down you lads. The staff were great to talk to, and the food was great and well portioned. Actually melted the cheese on the cheesy chips.

A quite place to have a drink. Very friendly staff.
