Mosaic Braintree Turkish Restaurant in Braintree

Appalling. Service slow, but polite front of house. Measly portions, cold food (twice), rice cold when put on table. Told not paying for the cold meal and they forgot to take it off. Starter was not complete. Don’t bother going. No manager and chef doesnt seem to care what he prepares.

We visited here as a family to celebrate a birthday, it was embarrassing as to how awful and slow the service was in the restaurant tonight. It was a Sunday evening and the Restaurant was run by two waiters. They really wasn't interested in making the experience a good one, too busy talking to each other and scrolling through their phones. The food was good as it normally is and that is the only reason the score being left is not a 1 star.

Dropped in here after attending a family event and found a very professional place with very good, prompt service and tasty food at reasonable prices, plus a nice bottle of Turkish wine (other kinds available). So pleased our feet led us here!

Another wonderful meal at Mosaic, never had a bad meal here! It’s the perfect restaurant for special occasions with friends. Food was perfect (moussaka, chicken shish and lamb sarma beyti were the best we’ve had). We can’t wait to come back! Thank you

Easy to book by email, confirmation within an hour. Staff were attentive and friendly, answered any questions about menu. In our offer we had a 2 course meal off a Groupon menu, had plenty of choice of meat and vegetarian dishes. The lamb just fell off the bone and was delicious, my moussaka was very tasty, will be back soon

I’ve been here a few times and the food is always delicious. Service is good, wonderful decorations and feels like a treat. Only downside is it can be a little expensive of an evening. Would recommend going for lunch, same menu but much cheaper!

For a dinner me and a group of friends prebooked a table at this restaurant and I have to say overall it was a very nicely located restaurant with reasonably priced food and great service. What I ate was the turkey sausage for starters and the swordfish for main course. Although the swordfish was slightly bland in my opinion the turkey tasted excellent and was very well marinated. Also I tried a Purple Rain cocktail which was also of amazing taste. So I would happily return here again should I revisit Braintree as I was very happy overall with my experience here

Met a friend here for lunch. It was my first visit. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and offered advice on the menu. We really enjoyed our food which was lovely and fresh. Will definitely return.

Staff - very friendly great service. Decor/ restraunt - very nice, good atmosphere. Toilets were pretty bad, unfortunately looked like somone had a very bad time in there, worst part is i went in before i had eaten. Granted, not the restraunts fault but 3 hours later it was still there. Food and drink - delicious but overpriced in my oppinion. Starters didn't seem very fresh (aubergine). Pints not filled to the top and a little flat. Cocktails were nice.

Be careful if using a Groupon voucher. The menu is completely different from the one advertised on the Groupon website and different to the one on the table in the restaurant. We were brought the promotional menu with very little choice of dishes , definitely not the menu advertised.

A very friendly welcome as always. We were asked where we wanted to sit. The Maître D always has time for a chat. The food, as always is very very good, slightly too much! Wine choices are very good too.

I am a fan of Turkish food. Actually, I am a fan of most foods but that is another story. We visited the Mosaic in the early evening so the restaurant was quiet. The first thing I want to comment on is the decor. Clearly, hours of time and loads of money have been spent in making the Mosaic the most attractive restaurant I have visited in a long time. However, onwards and upwards, the service was exemplary and the menu caters for most Mediterranean food. My lady friend and I had soup as a starter with village bread. The soup was piping hot and very tasty. For mains, she chose the whole seabass and I had kleftico. Both were superb. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience and we WILL revisit!

I had come to Braintree to visit my friend. It was the first time for both of us in this restaurant. After an initial hiccup over our assistance dog, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was 100% tasty, fulfilling and very well presented. We had a wonderful server too. Nothing was too much trouble for her, even a dish of water for the dog.
