Order was missing bread, salad and sauce for 1 of 2 kebabs. Phoned shop but guy was rude and unwilling to offer to deliver missing items even though they had been paid for. He then told me only one kebab comes with bread, salad etc???? Strange policy. In the end the guy was just making it up as he went along. Very poor. If I could give them zero stars I would.

We arrived for lunch and weren’t sure which way to enter the restaurant. There is a front door but no sign or anything intimating it was the main entrance or whether it was the door for the hotel or the restaurant or both; so we opted for the side gate but still weren’t sure if we were going the correct way. Still not sure whether we had entered the restaurant via the correct route we were seated quickly and my young daughter needed the bathroom: we went to the bathroom leaving my partner at the table and by the time we came back there were still no menus on the table. I did wonder if it was the start of things to come. However, thankfully, I was wrong. Everything after that was seamless. Service was good and food was great. My partner had the burger, I had eggs Benedict and my daughter had pizza. My only personal preference with the eggs Benedict would be to have a thick slice of ham, but as I say, that’s my personal preference. All the food was good quality. We liked the seating arrangements too; tables weren’t squeezed in and there was plenty of space between tables. We’ve already recommended this place to friends and family and will return ourselves in the area.

We booked a dinner through The Fork app as everywhere was booked out (due to the COVID restrictions being gradually lifted and all pubs overbooked), and happened to be the only customers that evening. The barman/host was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We sat on the terrace with a gas burner/warmer and an umbrella to keep us warm and cosy. The surroundings are beautiful - overlooking a large open space with a stream down some steps. The food was very nice, we each had a different type of a burger. The portions were very generous and there were options to suit different tastes, including great vegan food. Although this was our first time here and mostly an accidental booking, we will definitely be returning soon!

Chose this restaurant as we were looking for a quick Turkish lunch with a spacious interior . We had a cold selection of mezze for 2 which came with only 2 dolmades along with hummus, tzatsiki and 2 other dips. For mains ,we ordered a platter of grilled meat with fries, mixed salad and pitta bread. Food was tasty and of a big portion. Service was friendly. Enjoyable meal.

This is an old favourite of mine because the service is so friendly and the food is really good. It’s reliable and tasty and the thin chips are legendary in my family. Sit it a banquette for max comfort.Eggs benedict is a favourite also the Salad nicoise. Yesterday I tried the starter Superfood salad which is way off base for me and it was delicious! Good for breakfast (though it doesn’t open very early) lunch and supps and the lunch set menu is great value.I’ve spent entire afternoons there chatting with friends and never been hassled to move. There’s enough spam for everyone!

Very nice and attractive, famous area, very expensive but marvellous. The atmosphere is greater than any place in London. Wonderful set up and decorations. I highly recommend Joury Knightsbridge to everyone.

The food is actually tasty, however this restaurant is let down by many things. The portions are for kids, every adult (6 of us) left hungry despite ordering starter and main. The service is very slow and also a little haphazard as different waiters were involved throughout our dining experience and each one didn’t know what was discussed with last one. We had to ask maybe 5 or 6 times for extra cutlery and some smaller glasses for the kids. Not sure why they kept ignoring/forgetting this. We were in a bit of a hurry at the end as we had a show to go to at The O2. We let them know of our situation and requested the bill. It took 15 minutes to come because they insisted that the table be cleared before the bill. The waiters weren’t unfriendly but they certainly weren’t anything memorable. And I know this is London/The O2 but I felt it was slightly overpriced for what it was. We have been to plenty of Turkish/Lebanese type restaurants and the portions, quality, taste, are all far superior for a lot less price. I’m not sure if I would go back again. Instant feeling is no, however there are a lot of junk food restaurants at The O2 which means choice is quite limited so perhaps I’ll give it another shot.

A lovely little rustic family run restaurant. Excellent Greek menu with lots of choice. Nice friendly staff, happy to chat all things Greek. Gyros delicious. Too much really as we couldn’t manage dessert. Reasonable price. Quick service. Highly recommend

Avoid this place if you are looking for a decent place to eat or have a birthday!! We decided to have my mum’s 60th birthday celebrations here and were unfortunately met with unprofessional staff, average food and incredibly poorly managed service. Upon entering we were met with hostility when we asked where we could place a balloon arch when all we wanted was the ‘manager’s’ opinion on where she thinks would be a suitable set up for balloons. She answered ‘I told your mother not to touch the flower walls’. Strange considering I was by a window.. As the evening went on we had noticed that although the venue was supposedly fully hired there were groups of men in the outside smoking area when we asked (kindly) if they would remain there again, we were met with hostility from the ‘manager’ explaining that the hire is only for inside and it wasn’t 7pm yet- 7pm came and went and the men did not move until around 8:15pm. The food; once the food arrived we soon realised that the starters were bang average but the mains were freezer meat banged on a grill. £35 pp for freezer food served with freezer chips & salad. No rice, pitta bread or anything that requires a proper chef. For this price please save your money & attend a reputable restaurant with good food. NO ONE finished their food and for a group of foodies that we are- that is saying ALOT. Throughout the night we noticed that there was one waitress the entire night, we had to ask multiple times for the air con to be switched on and the prices of the drinks were central London prices all the whilst situated in Palmers Green. One of our family members is pescatarian and when she asked for a fish meal instead of the mixed meat they told her there would be an additional surcharge which was not mentioned earlier although this was enquired upon booking. Perhaps they didn’t have any fish in the freezer lol Now the end of the night arrives and I am informed that the ‘manager’ shouted at the children for damaging the flower wall. I approached her calmly and asked her if she had done this and she said yes and apologised. I advised her a better approach would be to inform the adults and not shout at children. We do not recommend this restaurant as a family friendly place or for people who have special dietary requirements. We then were charged £180 for the damage of some £1 eBay flowers. Fact of the matter is it’s an impractical concept which looks pretty and really is the only nice thing about this place. Finally the worst part of the night… payment. Making it clear here that the entire party were ready to pay and as it is 2024, mostly by card. I don’t think they were prepared for the situation and had a cash preference (clearly to avoid taxes). This escalated quickly where the manager told a member of a family that he was ‘not a man’ insinuating him not handling a cash payment bill is not manly behaviour?!!! They are responding to family and friends on their reviews saying we did not want to pay, this is far from the truth- everyone was ready but what you clearly aren’t ready for is your tax bill. Don’t run a business if you can’t handle your finances, your mouth or if you can’t cook. AVOID at all costs, especially if you are looking for a pleasant experience because you will NOT find that here.
