Istanbul Kebabs in Bristol, City of

Passed this van everyday for years and finally got around to trying their food. Was not disappointed. Mammoth portion that was delicious. Had a mixed donor, lamb was lovely the chicken was big bits that were moist and tasty. The salad was all lovely and fresh. The fella working was friendly and happy. Would definitely recommend best kebab in the area by a long long way.

Went there on Sunday. It's supposed to open 3pm, chap was still praying so fair enough, we waited but once he finished it turns out nothing was ready and 3:25 he only just started carrying produce from his car. I hoped at least that while he's praying it's all ready for him to start, meat heating up but no. Spent half an hour there for nothing and would spend another half if I waited for everything to heat up. You start 3pm means you serve from 3pm. That's suppose to be fast food. If I wanted to wait an hour I would've go to a restaurant.

I'm Turkish, so you can trust me when I say a kebab is good. Im telling you now these kebabs are proper banging- Swear down ill go as for to say these best, best Kebabs in Bristol. The owner is so friendly and everytime I've been here he has served me with a smile, the homemade chill sauce is PROPER naughty. 10/10

Come here at least once a week after work always great tasting kebabs and very generous with portion size always hits the spot 💯 Who I assume to be the owner is always in high moods aswell and it’s nice to see him always smiling

So impressed! After a string of mediocre kebabs locally I really wasn’t expecting it to be so great! All the other reviews are totally right - the staff are fab, portions generous and the kebabs delicious. We each had mixed kebab with chips and couldn’t finish it, definitely great value. Don’t think we need to go anywhere else now!

As far as a kebab chuck wagon goes, this is brill. Lovely chap served us at 11pm. Salad looked very fresh. Had a chicken wrap and kebab and both were huge!!! Tasty sauces and plenty of those, too. If you're after a "dirty kebab", go somewhere else cause this is really good stuff 😜

Tasty food with quantity and quality

Consistently good value for money. Large can feed 2 people (like full grown people unlike those things that say is serves 4 but only feeds 2). Been there twice and will return again when wanting a good kebab

Just had a mixed kebab wrap. Absolutely delicious! It was honestly so tasty. A lovely small little father and son outfit. If you want an amazing kebab then that's where you need to go. Top marks from me.

Absolutely disgraceful ordered two mixed boxes , hardly any meat, chicken was overdone and doner meat was stone cold and chips were rock hard charged £18 per box even asked for more meat as portions were tiny owner said no !! It says 14inch box yet they give u 12inch stay away from this place at all costs !!!

Do love this little van. Very tasty but the large baps seem to be getting smaller, which is a shame.

Used to be a good van 3 or so years ago. Visited tonight and asked for a Mega Burger that's on the menu but apparently not available because the chap working there has never made one. Lettuce was starting to go brown on the edges, not fresh at all. Chips tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in a long time. Not recommended.

Really nice food. Prices are reasonable. Parking can sometimes be tricky but overall it isnt to much of an issue. Definitely worth trying out.

Doesn't mess around when it comes to the portion sizes and the prices are great too. Cheaper than most kebab shops around

Disgusting!! Usually like kebabs this was just rank. Very greasy even the Shish kebab was covered in nasty oil oiltaste tasting grease

Usually great salad with most dishes - beware ordering after midnight! The "card machine" regularly fails and strange cash deals happen ;(
