Shisha here is nice, Me and my friends normally go for Blue mist, pink and mint which isn't a standard mix on there flavours list but they make it for us at a extra cost because we need to smoke from a disposable pipe as they don't want to mix flavours with there other pipes. Mocktails are nice too.......But why have I rated this place to be average!! I really hope the owners of this place take notes...You don't feel special when you walk into this place, the impression is they just want you in and out, I think the problem here is that they are too busy for there own good, and when they don't recognise your face you are not important. I don't have a issue with the time restriction they put on you, but if they could do it with more of a smile and effort to please there customers then there cash tills this place would easily get an extra two stars from me, pulls in a good mixture of crowd but need to step up there game to maintain there customers.

I've been to Mia lounge before and the last experience of the place was fantastic, but after what happened yesterday i would never walk in there again. Me and four other friends went in and everything was going smoothly until we sat down, we were told we could only stay for up to an hour as they had a booking for 7 which in the end never arrived, we were moved around the lounge twice by the staff as they were too worried about where to put the 7 people who had pre-booked. Once seated every 2 minutes we had members of staff eagerly coming up to us asking if we were ready to order or not. There was no patience what's so ever! One of the staff members, was rude to all of us and other customers who were seated instead of being polite he was speaking like he wanted to have a fight, completely and utterly rude! I ordered a baby chicken with rice, the chicken tasted bland and of nothing completely wasted my money! For a place which I had been to before this was really shocking! We asked about flavours of shisha and found that there wasn't anything in stock, I mean why give a menu of things to order when 90% of the items aren't in stock completely diabolical! Our order came to £90 which maybe only £40 was worth it! The food was so bad I had to give it away to someone random and even he didn't enjoy it either! Absolute waste of time and money! The staff were moody and rude who were always keen that we left within an hour, there's no management of staff or customers there what's so ever! I wouldn't recommend anyone there and next time I'll remember not to bother going in there because all in all it was an utter shambles! I live near Southampton and I could have just gone to my usual who do delicious food, the service is always excellent and could have paid more than half of what I did at Mia and enjoyed my evening! It's a real shame they don't know how to treat customers properly and moving around the lounge every so often was really really bad, the planning of where to put the party of 7 wasn't even done properly as they could have reserved a certain section of the lounge for them instead of moving most of the customers around, not just our group but others too! Plus having rude and ignorant staff who work there too was poor, no happy smiling welcome at all once we got in the first thing the staff members said was you can only stay for an hour maximum as we have a booking! Absolutely diabolical!

This is shisha 101 basic rules:1- only smoke shisha where you are surrounded by nice helpful staff cause serving shisha requires a lot of work and you usually want your shisha fast and quick and this is not the case with mia lounge they are slow and the service is c**p plus they are unfriendly and snobish as if they were hired by her majesty the queen2- Shishas should never have a time limit you should not tolerate this capitalist s**t and you should also be sensible dont share one shisha between the 10 of you but still this rule is annoying and offensive to the ancient tradition of smoking shisha3- Never fall for the deviant shisha scams of pineapple heads, iced hoses and shisha's with lights this is always more expensive and not worth itAs for the place itself, its lways crowded its over priced it has snobish floor manager the shishas are good though but you can easily find the same or better in Londom

Subject urself to mia lounge only if u are a hooka lover who wants to stay indoors (it's not actually indoors.. More like a shed but they have great heating sometimes too strong for some). A hooka can only be shared between two which I think is a fair rule. The pan, red mist and watermelon/mint mixes are good.Another plus is that you can order alcohol here, and they have club nights mostly on Fridays - check the website and go if Arab/Bollywood clubbing nites are ur thing.Negatives - extremely cramped, average food (there are cheaper and better options available for Lebanese food on Edgware road), rude service and expensive. Also google shows the wrong address so pls check the restaurant's website .. The worst experience I've ever had in a London restaurant/bar/shisha lounge after living in this city for 10 years. The staffs are there to fight you and not to talk to you, forget helping you. We went there in a group of 4 (2 couples) and we are not exactly gangster type teens. we are all in our 30s and I think we are at least decent looking with professional jobs and normal life styles. They've treated us like s**t and we had and argument with them which resulted in leaving the venue in less than 15 minutes of our arrival. They try to force you to sit in as close as you possibly can to other customers and try to use every inch of their space. I'm not exaggerating when I say my shoulder was rubbing the person next to me on another chair (not in our group). You have no right to complain about anything and if you do they do actually fight you back. They shout at you like the way you see in the movies, Guys, there are quite a lot of nice bars and pubs and even shisha bars in London. Save your day and don't go to Mia.

I went there last week on the 11th of January, Me and my cousin queued up for about 15-20 minutes. Once we got inside we had to queue up one more time. Then we sat inside I asked them if two of my friends (who were due to arrive shortly) would be able to sit with us (we could shift tables). The man told us possibly. When my two friends arrived they teamed up with 2 others to get inside since it was only groups of 4/6's gaining entry. Once they got inside the other two other people they had teamed up with agreed to swap with me and my cousin so we could all sit together. To my amazement the man in charge of the seating area said NO. It was pretty busy but a swap 2 on 2 is not going to impact anything. There are a lot of things that went down with this cafe from my last few visits. Shisha/Food is overpriced but admittedly taste good. There are other cafes across London that are much better.

Went to Mia lounge with a big group for a friends birthday and I will start by saying the food at this establishment was very appetising, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. One of my muslim friends decided to order a Virgin Mojito, to her surprise when it arrived and she started to drink to which the taste of alcohol was evident to her. Of course being muslim, she wasnt permitted to drink alcohol so this was an issue. The manager dealt with this horrifically, he continued to plee his innocence and insisted my friend was wrong. He agreed to change the drink but no consideration had been shown or no remorse for the mistake made by his staff. We then went outside for shisha, but we were cramped into one corner and told we weren't allowed to move to other unocuppied seats even though they were not busy! The shisha was generally good but one tasted horrible and when we asked staff to sort it, they were rude and insisted nothing was wrong. After continious debate, (with a gentleman who's english was insufficient) an hour later they finally agreed to change it, which was no help as we were ready to leave. Overall, the decor was lovely, food was great, but the staff were awful, especially in the shisha area. They lacked customer service skills and communication skills and failed to resolve issues adequately.

Okay generally I don't write reviews but for Mia I just couldn't help it. Now I've been to Mia a few times before, the food is lovely and the shisha is great; this review is purely on the customer service. Around a year ago I saw a mouse run along the edge of the garden wall; it was far away from me so I didn't freak out and just put it down to a one-off and the fact that it is outdoor. I saw the mouse again a few months after that, but again didn't want to make a big deal. Today however, I saw the mouse run IN to the restaurant (i was outside in the garden area), I immediately notified the manager quietly, and his exact response was, "It is a garden, what do you expect?" ERM, there are no mice in MY garden?! And the mouse had run IN to his establishment where food and the like is prepared...totally unhygienic and disgusting. About 20 mins after this the mouse ran out of the restaurant and made a beeline for my table (I was in the centre of the garden) I squealed, got up and ran towards the doors, where 3 waiters came out (by this time many people were standing on chairs screaming) and I told the waiter that the mouse had run OUT of the restaurant and his reply? "Close the doors". I mean seriously? I informed the manager again, and with a smile on his face, he said, "Well the mouse must like you". I give up.

I first went to Mia with some friends around August/September time where we stepped into an exquisite interior, greeted by staff and felt immediately welcomed (previously never been a fan of shisha places due to not smoking it- just went to keep friends company). However the staff suggested flavours that they liked and so we decided to go from there which I must say being a fan of chocolate; I chose After Eight which turned out to be a yummy first experience! Thought i would check out the food menu and ended up ordering a recommended dish; Batata Hara and Shish Taouk wrap as I hadnt tried much of Lebanese food (hats off to the chefs as this type of cusine is now a favourite of mine), followed by dessert which was beautifully presented! It is a must try with their strawberry/ lychee virgin mojito which is a great drink to quench that thirst.Having had a warm experience, I now find myself going back to Mia regularly and must say this is hugely down to a calm atmosphere, welcoming staff and management and its delicious food.Mia is located in a calmer area (a good change from Edgware Road where I have found most waiters there to be all rushed with taking orders) and find it sets a higher standard in food and service! As the months go by, i have seen the place get busier and busier and with other restaurants i have been to, the service usually decreases but I havent found this to be the case at Mia with the staff constantly aware of their customers' presence. Some would say the waiting in ques are rather long (which i thought at first but it is expected for a popular place like Mia). I would say get there early to avoid waiting a while and to be honest once you're inside, it's worth the wait! They play a mixture of arabic music (which I dont understand but is very catchy that I find myself singing to) and english music which is a good balance to incorporate into shisha lounge. The prices are reasonable for the location and level of presentation/ taste of their food, alongside being looked after by the staff and catering to my needs. Every place has good and bad points but with Mia; I've only ever experienced a positive one (although the constant eating of their delicious food hasnt done any favours to my waist size!) which led me write an essay of a review...In my eyes, Mia is huge success of a business that's well maintained and understands its target market which entices me to keep coming back.A big thankyou to the staff and management for keeping their standards high, consistent and making this place feel like a home...one happy customer! I had dinner here only so can't comment on the quality of the sheesha. Food was average, and individual prices were OK, but it wasn't until an hour into the meal until we realised that there was a £15 minimum spend on food. So everyone who wanted a starter and a pudding, or a starter and a wrap, had to spend £5-6 on nothing. The waiter's broken English didn't help. He kept on saying "ees betterrr for you" to eat more, and we finally twigged that this meant you have to order at least £15 to make it worth it. The final straw for me was being told that we had to fetch our own water from a dispenser on the floor above. The sheesha lounge is cramped, noisy, horrible chairs, not relaxing at all. So if you want a good value relaxing evening, please avoid this jumped-up place and go to any of the friendly places around the Edgware Road that have better reviews.

Sheesha was expensive and average, around £18 and I ordered a whisky for £5 which looked less than a shot. My friend ordered a Mojito which was mostly ice and nothing else. Looked they were trying to rip us off at this point. The manager/ host was kind of tense as he wanted 20 people turning up who could spend £15 per head, very pushy salesman techniques for an expensive restaurant.20 people arrived in the restaurant but we could not make £15 per head on average and they were still trying to push us. The manager/ host and waitress gave us angry looks and I even heard the manager tell the waitress to "Go away". When coming back from the loo the waitress accidently walked into me, with no apology. Wanted to tell her to get training in customer service but saved face. We sang happy birthday to my friend, but got told to be quiet, even though in the restaraunt there was a wedding with a disco, totally fake. Just because not everyone had £15 to spend, why the harsh treatment. I understand that it was an Arab restaraunt and it is there culture. But this was in North London. I did complain but could see they were just greedy and did not care. When we did pay the guy on the tills asked us to count the money, probably because they were so uneducated.Unless you want to get the same experience PLEASE AVOID MIA LOUNGE.

To get straight to the point about why I rated this place 2 stars :1. In London, asking for tap water in restaurants stopped being a taboo about 10 years ago. Not here. First we were told by the waiter, and somewhat rudely, that we had to go get our own tap water from the bar, which was upstairs as we were seated in the basement. Then to add insult to injury we were handed literally shot-size glasses (about 25 ml each) of tap water. The barman refused a bigger glass as "these were the rules" !! We made the point more strongly to our waiter downstairs who also talked about house rules, upon which I asked for the manager. After a few minutes of back and forth, and perhaps sensing that his gratuity was now on stake, he returned about 10 minutes later with two larger glasses of tap water for our party of four. Who wants this kind of nonsense when you are out with your family to relax !2. We ordered 3 starters and 3 main courses and specifically asked for everything to be brought together. After a short 5 minute wait, 2 starters arrived. The rest of the food didn't show up for another 25 minutes and the third starter was just missing and only came once we had reminded them.3. The food itself wasn't bad and the portions were decent. The service and house rules just sunk the show.4. We settled the bill (paid cash and even left a tip !) but as we were exiting upstairs, my wife was stopped and an employee behind a counter enquired if we had settled our bill !! Quite unbelievable !Bottomline, food isn't the only criteria in running a London restaurant. This is a competitive market and Mia has a long way to go before they can even begin to compete with similar restaurants. This place has a thriving sheesha lounge and perhaps that's their focus rather than the food. Not being a huge sheesha fan, I doubt I'll go back to Mia or recommend to anyone.

My husband and I visited Mia lounge to celebrate his bonus! The food was yummy and the waiter was very friendly. The restaurant interior is really nicely done but its a shame they dont have a dj on a saturday night, it wouldve been nice to eat, do shisha and then have a boogey! I had the mixed grill and vermercelli rice, I just love the Lebanese rice! It was delicious! We then had the blueberry shisha which was very nice with a cuppucino! Overall we had a lovely time @ Mia, but would recommend them to start playing a dj on a sat night!

It was a friends birthday she had reserved downstairs for us. The waitors were extreamly rude and disrespectful and every so often they would snap they gave us the wrong food and then shouted at us because apparently we did order what he bought when we didn't. They didnt allow us to get drinks and shisha as even though some of us had our ids some of the people we were with forgot their id's. so every so often we went out to smoke and had to wait in the line in order to be allow in. They allowed others from outside to come into the space which we had reserved and had then the manager had the cheak to tell us to be quite because we were making noise. Food was disgusting , presentation was bad and small portions. Music was rubbish and the dj wasnt playing for us overall it was an unpleasant experience and i wouldn't advice anyone to go there.

The management are completely unfair and unprofessional. There is no orderly fair system to get in for shisha. You normally wait 45mins for shisha but loads of locals/friends and pretty girls jump the que without any discretion. This establishment would be very respectful if it wasn't for the corrupt management. Food and shisha are both good don't get me wrong but overall establishment is ridiculous. Expect to be treated un fairly if you do not fit their profile.

If you ever decide to come here to eat of god forbid for shisha on a Friday or Saturday evening come around 7pm latest or be prepared for a minimum 1 hour wait. This wait will consist of every good looking girl who flutters her eye lashes get in before you or any rich guys with their bentleys parked on double red lines outside on the road walk in like we don't exist. When I asked the door man why 3 groups of the same amount of people got in before I did with my mate he laughed and said if they come often enough they get VIP treatment... So if you dot want to wait ... Then come more often.!! Great answer ! Thank you. When you do get in eventually seating is very cramped and tight. Only decent things to say is shisha is of a decent standard and milkshakes are one of the best. As soon as this place gets some competition open up locally they will automatically lose 40% of their business so all the people fed up waiting and getting treated like dirt. I have been here 3 times and never again. Each time I gave them the benefit of the doubt but not anymore.

Went there with some business colleagues for some dinner one evening. Booked a table in advance and arrived at 7pm. Upon entering the building you immediately see two main seating areas: the modernist lounge/bar area and the shisha smoking lounge outside. The lounge is separated from the shisha garden area by large glass paned windows; access between these areas is via a (sliding?) door.We sat down and waited some time for the menus to arrive. We had sat near the glass partitions but soon had to move as the perfumed smoke from the shisha area was drifting in and whenever anyone opened the garden door, a rush of cold air came in and hit us.We picked another table and the menus eventually arrived. The menu was quite concise and I was pleased to note that there were some vegetarian options. But it took ages for the waiter to come and take our order; they seemed to be focusing their attention on the large number of guests in the shisha garden.I ordered the Mia Special Hummous and the Vegetable Mousaka with rice. My colleagues went for some meat starters and the mixed grill. We all ordered a bottle of the Lebanese beer on offer. After another long interval, the beers and starters arrived and were generally fine, even if the portion sizes were rather small (wasn't sure why the hummous was labeled as special as it just looked like normal hummous with a sprinkle of paprika). The main problem was the wind-tunnel effect that opening the garden door caused and by this time my two colleagues were so cold they had reverted to wearing their winter coats! This is a serious problem for anyone dining in the lounge area as the volume of 20-somethings traffic moving into and out of the shisha area is so great. The glass door is almost permenently open and when its -1C outside, it doesn't take it long to be -1C inside either. Some time later the mains arrived; the small bowl of vegetable mousaka was soon cold though and it was too greasy anyway. We had a look at the desert menu but it was mainly of the ice cream variety and we were cold enough by then anyway. We left soon after. It might well be a nice place in the height of summer but I would not go there in Winter. Also, most people seemed to have the shisha garden as their primary reason for visiting. The average price for our meals and drink was £25.Likes:+ Vegetarian optionsDislikes:- Very cold, draughty eating environment- Shisha garden smoke- Small portions- Greasy/oily food- Very, very slow service

We had to wait a while to be seated as we came in. We sat down and the room was extremely cold. They took ages to bring the food to us and they were terribly understaffed. The waiters are so rude when you ask why it takes so long. My food was served cold and when i asked for it to be heated up the waiter tutted at me. I asked for extra ketchup, was given a dollop of chilli sauce instead and was charged for it. My bill came to £9.90 and they charged me a tenner just because they wanted to. Do nottt go there. Its cold and you will nott enjoy it. The food was ok, terribly oily though.

Place is too chaotic, very unhelpful staff and you feel as though you won the food once it actually arrives. I would not recommend to eat first then go for shisha as they will make you wait for ages. Request to be sat for shisha and food together. Also say you want the food to arrive at the same time as the shisha, then simply knock the coals off the shisha and eat your meal in peace. In that way you will maximise your time there without the waiters being on your back. If there is a queue, just order your food while you aee waiting as it takes forever to come.I would avoid taking bif groups here, its just too much hassle to say the least.Shisha does taste good but would rather smoke somewhere where I can actually relax.

So we went mia lounge for my sisters birthday with a group of 24, obviously being a birthday party there was a cake, we were told by the waiters we couldn't sing happy birthday, which I thought was bizarre as the place was packed out, and us singing happy birthday was going to hardly make a difference. so we had no choice but to whisper!!so we went on to ordering the food we were assigned a waiter and were told we only had a time limit of 2 hours that included eating our food and smoking shisha. once again we had no choice but to agree seeing as we travelled so far. I was the first out of 24 to order my food, I ordered a simple shawarma with rice, whereas others ordered half chicken and what not. so everyones food came and was absolutely hectic I patiently waited 45 mins, and asked for the whereabouts of my food, the waiter asked for my order again and said its coming. a few more friends come to join us and they also placed orders after half an hour was extremely angry and asked the waiter for my food he said its coming, he brought out some dishes and asked me 'WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING THE FOOD IS HERE' I thought this was appauling!!!! I have never seen such disgusting customer service! funny enough the food the waiter brought out none of them belonged to me, I was furious and got into an argument with the waiter, the waiter exclaimed that he refused to serve me and called the manager. my food then arrived after another half an hour, making it a whole 2 hours before I received my food! the waiter then had a cheek to say we only had 20 mins left as a group seeing as they were so busy, I refused to leave and the manager agreed to let us stay for 40 mins. I would never return to such a place! I honestly hope the place gets shut down for its disgusting service! the atmosphere was so chaotic you can tell there way out of their depth and are very overwhelmed, you cant eat nor smoke shisha in peace without waiters running round like loose chikens!

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant! The staff were rude and the restaurant was understaffed. I went with 3 of my friends and we were taken downstairs and told to sit anywhere. We then sat at a table and after being ignored for half an hour the waiter came to us and told us to move tables, as there was a large booking, even though there was only a small group present downstairs and plenty of space throughout the floor for others to sit. We decided to move as we had not ordered at this time. The same happened to another group of girls who came at the same time as us. There was only 1 waiter for the whole of the bottom floor so service was the worst I have ever experienced. He took another half an hour to take our order for drinks and starters. This was then brought to our table after a long period of waiting and dumped on our table without plates to eat on. We then asked for plates and by the time they arrived our starters were cold and we had finished our drinks. We did not understand why it took so long to be served considering there was only a small group present initially. After we finished our starters it took him another hour to come take our order for mains, by this time many people had come downstairs. He then took the order and the food arrived after another delay. As the mains arrived, the ORDER WAS WRONG!! The waiter then accused us of giving him the wrong order and then yelled. I don't know what process they take to hire staff but they certainly need to fire all of them and start their hiring process again. After this whilst we were eating he then asked us to move tables BACK TO WHERE WE ORIGINALLY SAT!! Nobody had been seated at this table during this time. I was disgusted at this point! The reason was that a large group was coming?! He then moved us to this table and just put all the food anywhere on the table and walked away. He then brought over extra sauce to apologise?! I was thinking is this man for real!?!!! Nobody ever was seated at the table we previously sat at the entire time we waited! We then waited another hour to be responded to whilst we waved the man down on several occasions to ask for water. He said yes and walked away. Guess what... WE WERE NOT SERVED!! He then went to the large group and had given one girl water which I was completely fed up by this point. We then asked to take away the food and get the bill, which he did not do for an hour. He continued serving the larger party full of many guys and girls. I went upstairs and asked for the manager, then the staff brought out the man serving the coffee?! We explained what happened and he said I will deal with it and come down in a bit and then we went down. Guess what-HE WAS PRETENDING to get rid of us! I do not understand how people could be so stupid and incompetent! It is a business and they definitely won't be getting business from me! Another group of people were complaining to someone who was representing a senior but was not a manager. I saw him yelling at them which I was appalled about! We then signaled him, he saw us and walked away, but we signaled him again and he came to our table! I was so mad at this point and they turned up the music so loud that he could not hear me. I explained everything that happened, I wanted a discount and that we had been treated really badly, he then started shouting at me in front of my friends so my friend had to defend me! He then said he would go upstairs to give us a discount and tell the manager at the till. He told the waiter who served us to pack up our food and give it to us upstairs. He also told us we could have paid for the bill upstairs which we were not told about and had waited for ages to be acknowledged,! We then went upstairs to pay at the till and the manager did not hear about this discount so he sent down for this guy, who then came up and explained everything. He then asked how much discount were we offered and I said as much as possible because we were treated badly. They told us they had only been opened a few months and did not know fridays and saturdays were busy?! so they had not hired enough staff?! I am sorry but that was beyond stupid and I just wanted to run out by this point. The common theme between the two tables that had issues were that we were all girls and I definitely believe these men treated us like lesser people because of our gender! I had planned to give a hefty tip to the staff if they were wonderful but by the way we were all treated it was definitely far from that. FROM THIS I WOULD SAY NEVER EVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE! The food was not so amazing and the decor downstairs was messy as if a party had just finished and they could not be bothered to clean up. There was a table beside us with dirty cocktail glasses and food that was not cleaned for hours.

They have some exotic flavours that i have not seen anywhere, red mist is my personal favourite, especially when put in a fresh fruit head. The service i received was friendly and efficient, nothing seemed ever too much. The food at Mia Lounge is very impressive. I have seen some bad reviews about the service but I guess you can't please everyone, though if you after fast food you may opt for McD's! I will definetely recomend it to everyone! The venue is massive, thereis plenty of space to move around, we first sat in the bar area, the food ison par with middle eastern dishes and portion size is filling, there is plentyverity of cocktails on the menu, later on we moved to the shisha lounge area. The shisha selection and quality of the shisha is the best i've had in London ,if you want quality shisha then this is the place to go!! The ambiance in thewhole place is very nice and staff are friendly and helpful. The manager on shiftwas nice and showed us around the place. We even had the chance to go behindthe scenes and see the shisha room, there was over 50 different shisha's to choose from!! Would I go here again? Many of the waiters act like they're doing you a favour. We were sat at a dirty table which was never cleaned. The waiter took 10 minutes to acknowledge us. He then got one of our orders wrong but insisted it was right so refused to replace it. We had to re-order the correct item. We had to wait over half an hour for the rest of the (original) order to arrive, by which time the existing food was cold & we didn't have time to finish eating before the start of our movie. After repeated requests the head waiter agreed not to charge us for the incorrect (untouched) order - but it still appeared on the bill. When we reminded him to remove it the first waiter (who made the mistake) started arguing with him in Arabic in front of us. I've never seen anything like it. I can't understand why any business would risk customers & reputation over a £4 falafel wrap! If you want to enjoy your meal in peace, go somewhere else.

Went to Mia Lounge for a friends birthday party. We arrived at 7pm and were seated downstairs. The atmosphere and decor was nice. However this was the only positive of this place. All the guests arrived by 7.30pm and it took us over an hour to place an order for our drinks and starters as the "one"waiter who was assigned to our table was a little busy and would be with us shortly. Once the order was taken which was about 8.30-9 the waiter felt it necessary to be quite rude and not apologise for taking his time In taking our order. The food which was only starters eventually came an hour later with the drinks coming after 30 mins. You would have thought that for a group so large they would put service out to manage.  After another hour or so we managed to find the waiter to place our mains order. By this time everyone was really angry and didn't want to eat. Our mains eventually arrived at 12.00am by this time everyone was put off. We requested that we wanted seating for shisha afterwards when we had first arrived which was promised however come 12:30 when asked we was told that we would have to wait a minimum an hour before we get seating for a smoke. You would think a restaurant can handle a group booking but this place is absolutely terrible, and food wasn't that nice either, hence I do not see myself returning to this place. Having made an advance booking we were looking forward to a great evening out, it turned out to be the exact opposite. Apart from the decor everything else about the place is appalling, most of all the staff. Rude, care free, arrogant and no understanding of customer service describes the staff. The food portions were tiny, taste was bland and to be perfectly honest the same food elsewhere would have cost a quarter of the price. I left really disappointed as did a number of my friends, the rudeness of staff and especially the management left us fuming. This is one place to avoid.

Basically, I had to go to McDonalds afterwards to fill myself up.The decor was gaudy- most likely a result of the fact that almost all attention was focused outside, to the advantage of the seemingly ubiquitous shisha smokers. The waiting staff were mostly oblivious, though polite. The central problem pertaining to this place is the identity crisis it appears to be having: it can't decide whether or not it wants to be a bar, a restaurant, or a simple shisha cafe. Perhaps they should eliminate the restaurant element entirely, as its clientele seem to be solely interested in the shisha garden outside.

There was 4 of us, we got there pretty early for a Friday night around 7:30pm. The waiting period just to get in was pretty ridiculous, we waited over an hour to get a table. I mean its not like some VIP guest list, so the waiting period killed my mood. Once in we ordered food, I'd say reasonably priced. The food itself i personally thought it was bland and the lamb you had to really fight with it cos it was pure fat, coSo by this time you can imagine how bad of a night it already was. Then we went to have Shisha, to be honest It was way too cramped, tables and chairs eveywhere. They try fitting in more people that it can actually hold. Let me give you an example, 4 people on 1 table and 2 of you sitting on the very edge of the table. No leg room so legs did get a bit stiff. To top it all off the service I would say is around 4 out of 10I don't think I will be going there again.Slick Certified Message®

Proceed at your own detriment:1) This place is very badly staffed. 2) The staff are very naturally rude and seem proud of it.3) We were only looked after once we recognized people we knew in management and made a fuss to them.4) Some of our friends had dinner but were not allowed to join us outside for Sisha until we made a fuss. The food was pretty shocking btw, but you shouldnt be coming to a sisha lounge for dinner anyway to be honest. 5) Before we sat down they started shouting at the table next to us saying the 1.5 table time had lapsed.6) They then asked them to pay more than their bill due to a minimum spend per person, not including the dinner they had just had. 7) Our Sisha took 45 minutes to arrive but the staff still maintained that we had to leave after the 1.5 hours time as people were waiting - called our friends and they happily increased it for 2.5 hours and then started moving someone else, at which point I told the manager we would leave - weird. 8) Bizarrely at one point the bouncers came in and started asking everyone to keep the noise down - ? But there are over 100 seats - even if everyone is muttering it is going to be noisy chaps.Proceed with caution people, we saw a lot of people walk out half way. Your call.

We visited Mia Lounge on a Saturday night. We went to the downstairs bar (which was a private party). We were supposed to be on a guestlist - the door staff did not even bother checking this. Once we got downstairs the tiny bar is located by the double swinging doors - there were a number of times people were hit by the door whilst waiting to be served at the bar. The bar staff could not cope with the drinks orders and for the size of the area downstairs the bar was tiny - it took so long to get served. Later on, we tried to book a table for shisha however the guy with the clipboard was running around it was difficult to put our name down. Once he acknowledged us he did not put our names down but instead said that he remembered us in a rude tone. We tried to order drinks in the bar but were told by the bar staff they were only there to get drinks orders ready for the customers smoking shisha outside. It was annoying when we saw other people being seated for shisha whilst we had been waiting longer. In the end we gave up and left. Mia bar is poorly managed, the staff do not seem to know what they are doing or do not have the training to run the evening in a professional manner. Very disappointed and will not return!

After taking the order the waiter came back and asked us if we were having shisha- I said no (not only is it £15 a pop but I also don't smoke), he then told us we can't sit out there.... As we don't smoke! So due to the fact I don't smoke I'm not allowed to sit in a restaurant garden? The atmosphere inside was rubbish and outside. The waiter was rude. They have no concept of customer care. BAD bad experience. We were basically forced to leave. So upsetting and rude.

Have been coming here since the restaurant opened some months ago. The food and shisha is good but what really REALLY let's this place down is the disinterested staff, the clown for a manager and honestly speaking, amongst the worst customer service i've ever had in a restaurant. In short, MIA Lounge is pretentious, has poor customer service, and moreover feel it is acceptable to be rude to it's customers as my friends and I found out last week. My wife and I visited Mia Lounge with two of our friends last week for the second time. I've never been inspired to review a restaurant before, but we had such a lovely time again I wanted to share. We started with a drink on the terrace which was busy enough for a nice atmosphere but not overbearing. The lighting is really nice so it was a relaxed place to have a look at the menu. The beer and wine selection is good too. The lady who brought us to our table was very friendly and happy to help with my wife's gluten intolerance which can often be a problem. She checked everything with the chef to make sure she didn't eat anything she's not allowed. The food is amazing at Mia. We have always loved Arabic cuisine since holidaying in Dubai. All the mezze is fantastic, particularly the plentiful bread and hummus. Both times we've been we've just elected to mix and match a few dishes and dip in as we please. The service is good, particularly regular top-ups of delicious mint tea. All four of us agreed that we had not had such good Lebanese food anywhere in London. Highly recommended!

The Mia Lounge screams its Middle Eastern culture through the different flavors of Shisha that it offers. A friend brought me to the place when I was in London to try and impress me with what his home can offer, and he certainly delivered. The fact that they also make Shisha with their own flavors greatly caught my attention and praises. Not only is the Shisha great in this place, but the food that they offer are up to par with my standards. If you want to relax, have a great meal, and a great Shisha, then go to the Mia Lounge.

We really enjoyed the food from Mia. We did take away rather than eating in. One odd thing about this place is that they are smoking some kind of pipes in the back and the whole restaurant kind of smelled like smoke. When we got the food back to the Hotel we disovered that we had recieved steak instead of Lamb and the steak was kind of tough. However the salad was delicous and the prices were very reasonable for London. I would definitely reccomend eating here again but I would go the take away option until they partition off the smoking section better.

October 2012 chilling out with my friends @mialoungelondon , a place worth visiting , extremely beautiful entrance and well maintained culture . Weekends are bit crowdy but staff seems well equipped to handle that. Did I forget to mention shisha? Hmmm awesome, this much variety of flavours like Blueberry Muffin, After Eights, Red Mist etc it was really hard to choose just one and the apple juice (one of the best I had ever). And I like their spacious hall also, planning to have my b’day party there... 

Was in London for the week to meet my mates - they took me there and I kept asking to go back! Excellent quality of food and atmosphere - but the highlight was the sheesha! I have had sheesha in Saudi Arabia and this is definitely comparable. Its also great for families because theres a seperate area for sheesha and dinner! A MUST visit restaurant on a trip in London!

Five of us went out for a birthday to Mia Lounge. We booked the restaurant first which was nice and the staff who dealt with our booking were really nice and friendly, we rang them because we were running late and they were really cool about it. When we arrived we sat on a table which we wasn't really feeling, so we asked to move and they were happy to move us so that was nice of them. Our drinks arrived 10/15 minutes before we had finish which was not good at all. Although, food was really nice and so were the prices. We were then told we had to put our name on some list in order to sit in the shisha part and were told we only have 1 and a half hours there. Wasn't great as I've been to loads of NICE shisha places which do not give you a time limit. Then we were told oh we HAVE to spend £15 each - when we had already spent £100 on food and drinks. Now £75 in an hour and a half is a joke as it is. Especially as we'd have to wait ages for our shisha and drinks. Then the waitor came to us and told us that and WE WERE FINE WITH IT but then he literally forced us to order there and then within five minutes of sitting down and then one of us had to sit on a chair on the side and were told at least 6 times to get up and let people get in because they were in the way. We walked out because our waitor was rude and never even gave us a chance to think of what we wanted. So rude and horrible we walked out and he laughed. The shisha place isnt all that as it looks online so beware and its cold and chavy. Rude people would never go there EVER AGAIN. Please think before going here. They're so stuck up as well. Horrible place and rip off!

A group of friends came here to enjoy our friend's birthday dinner. We went to order dinner first and two shisha first. Shortly after we ordered, one of the waiters came back to the table. Talking to us in a rude, very inappropriate manner the waiter accused us of not ordering 5 shishas. He shouted at the birthday girl repeatedly, cutting us off, and then threatened us to give up our table. We felt treated very badly, it was shocking. It is a lovely place but with the stress the waiters put on our group and the birthday guest we will never ever come back again. Stay well clear of this place unless you want to be stressed out! There are plenty of lovely, friendly shisha places nearby at Camden and Edgeware Road.

Ive been to MIA a couple of times and there shisha is nice they do have a variety of flavours however, the price is ridiculous and not worth it as the staff are extremely rude and unapproachable. The female staff are a bit nicer but as a whole they all take long to come and serve you even when the place is nearly empty, they treat you badly and moan if you call them over, very intimidating. DO NOT GO THERE if you can't tolerate bad service, I would rate this a 10 if it were for worst service. The food and shisha are decent they just need new staff !

I visited Mia lounge with a group of friends for my 30th birthday, the food was amazing specially the Mia special hummus best hummus in town in my view. Great choice of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic mocktails. We had shisha outside and had extensive menu with plenty of choice. The management and staff were very accommodating and looked after us all night. Cant wait to go back!

We were invited to Mia by a couple of our friends, more of a couples night out and we were really impressed with this place. First off, the Menu is awesome! By far the biggest and most varied shisha menu I have seen in any place in London. Secondly the bar, they stock my two favourite whiskies  and the cocktail list is pretty decent also and most importantly I don’t know any other restaurant/bar where I can enjoy shisha and have a drink also, good result! The food, Excellent..we all decided to order lots of starters and mains together and share (great idea as they have a varied menu) and we loved everything (especially the Mia Humus)...hats off to the chef! Service...very good, attentive staff and very friendly. I am a bit confused as to some of the negative reviews I have read, we came on a Friday night and it was packed. When we arrived I was advised there would be a wait for the patio area so we had drinks and food in the bar area, and by the time we finished there was a table that came free on the patio. I did notice other patrons that arrived and just sat in the bar area waiting for a table to come free, however the whole place is lovely so why not take advantage of it! Will definitely be checking this place out again :-)

We made a booking for 15 people. As we got in we were greeted by a manager and when we explained we had a booking for 15 people he told us point blank that we hadn't. His tone was quite rude and then after a bit of a heated conversation he said the table was probably downstairs. How did he not know of all bookings in the venue?Anyway we went downstairs and the table wasn't ready, the staff started pushing tables together so there was a lot of waiting around. As more friends arrived they were told their table was reserved upstairs so after a lot of confusion we finally moved upstairs and took our seats. In order to just get on with the meal we ordered the fixed menu. This came and the food was very average. It was very bland although the side orders we made from the 'a la carte' menu were very nice. The service was terrible. I will reflect on what an earlier review stated and this was not the fault of the staff, its the management. The restaurant is severely understaffed for the number of guests it has to accommodate. All in all this was not a very good experience. I will go back and sample the a la carte menu and maybe try at a quieter time and see whether any of the other reviews are justified, but for now this isnt top of my list on London's Lebanese restaurant.

The only thing good about this place is the sheesha menu apart from that highly unprofessional staff give preference to ladies specially whom they know doesnt matter how long the other people are waiting for in the queue to be seated.I myself understand how does hospitality work as i manage a 4* star hotel and understand the whole cycle of customer journey here its all about preference and even when you finally get seated no one bothers to come to your table and take your order and when they actually do instead of actually knowing who is having what the waiters go around asking what you having and taking random orders on random tables which is highly improfessional.

great space, amazing Shisha flavours and to top it off some of the BEST cocktails i've ever had in London. I was genuinely amazed at the skills of the head bar-tender (having been to the American bar at the Savoy, ECC, etc etc...) - this guy knows his flavors. Would defo recommend

5 y no 6 libras. 5 que hacen que este como un 5 estrellas.
