Takeaway Sunday 13/10/24. Nothing particularly outstanding here with average food (chips okay - wraps/box average) and felt expensive compared to Real Taste across the road which is our usual go to.

This place is one of the best turkish kebab shops I've been. The kebabsare homemade daily and it tastes amazing. The portions are generous and the service is awesome, specially after Meal they serve you baklava and tutkish tea on the house.

Very bad experience! I was go there at 16 August, Friday evening for my wedding anniversary but, it was very horrible experience . I had to wait for food for up to 30 min , I was asking for my food for the manager but his behaviour, very rude !! and when food came it was very disgusting

This one is a Third class restaurant I ever see because they don’t give good hospitality service like their staff and manager don’t care about their customers. Theirs behaviour towards the customer is not good at all. And their food scale is average as well. Even we pay a lot but still We can’t feel any luxuries environment and positive environment as well. I’ll not recommend this restaurant.

I used to order takeaways from this place back in 2022 and 2023 and the food was good. I just had an order today in 2024 and the quality of the food has improved. The chicken and rice, with bread was amazing. So delicious and full of flavour. They now mix the rice and chicken together with some sauce. Which makes sure it is not dry. Their baklava is so tasty. 10 out 10. Great food.

Honest feedback: We just visited the place this afternoon around 2pm. The guys seems friendly and took our order. The restaurant wasn’t highly busy. We ordered Mix kebab, the Ribs and some soft drinks. Although, the mix kebab was juicy and tender. However, the ribs were chewy and the taste were not so great either. The waitress forgot to bring the soft drinks, no spoon was provided with the sauce, until asked. We have noticed that, some of the staffs were too busy with the phone then serving the customers. When we went to the till to pay the bill. The guy was about to charge us for the drinks, he didn’t after we reminded him of not receiving the softdrink. Even though, the behaviour of the staffs were friendly and welcoming. However, the service wasn’t great. Please improve the service and be mindful of customers.

The whole review for the place to atmosphere is a whole -1 I do not recommend, staffing are so rude and adding unnecessary extra prices to your total, charging an extortionate amount for complimentary starters without stating, do not recommend this place, even a member of staff agreed with me

Amazing food and loved the free appetizers and baklava at the end! The staff were really sweet and even sang happy birthday to my dad and brought out candles unprompted!

I visited this place with my sister around midnight to grab an order of chips after a few beers. Unfortunately, the chips were quite soft, which was disappointing. While the staff seemed nice, the presumed owner was overly chatty in a negative way. He commented repeatedly on how tired I looked compared to my sister, which was unnecessary and rude. Save your money and find another place with crispy chips and better manners.

Excellent Dining Experience at Woody's Grill I recently had the pleasure of dining at Woody's Grill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Friendly staff; falafel wrap was delicious; Turkish tea, hummus, ratiha and bread on the house, reasonably priced.

The food is simple but very well done. Fairly quick preparation. Dish portions are very generous for London standards in terms of quantity/price. Service is kind and polite, especially by the waitress. I'll definitely go again.

Little gem in the heart of London

Had the lamb doner don’t know when was it prepared, but had a very bad stomach pain and diarrhoea…

Used to have great experiences at Woody Grill but this time even though it tasted good, had terrible upset stomach all night and explosive experience in the toilet. Very sore stomach. My friend also, he ate what I had. So it was definitely the lamb shawarma that did it. Will never go back.

I’m not joking, when I say this, that was the best lamb and chicken sheesh I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. You won’t regret it. Changed my life. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Have had takeaway from here several times over the last year when working and got to say best chicken shish I have had. Decided to eat in with a friend after the restaurant has undergone a refurbishment. Surprisingly busy for a Thursday lunchtime. Good food as usual. Great service didn’t feel rushed

I must say… everything has changed. I have been going to this place for over 10 years and for once, just once when I told them that my chicken Shish was not good. Nothing.. nothing was done and I was treated like I was lying and was called horrible names. The manager at time even said to me “hope to never see you again”, and another worker there also said, “go apply benefit if you can’t afford to pay”. How DISGUSTING. Is that a way to treat your customers?

It's difficult to know exactly how to evaluate Woody Grill. Hard by Mornington Crescent station, they serve you a ten pound doner wrap. It was exactly what I expected, needed and wanted. I can't say if it will be so for you.

Nice kebab restaurant close to mornington crescent. The staff was quite friendly and there are about 18 seats inside the restaurant, which is more spacious than it looks. As an appetiser we were given some bread with sauces and olives, the order was quick to get ready. Food tasted delicious.

The wife and I shared a "2 person platter", we needed another person or two. All the food was excellent! I can not decide on a favorite, each selection vied with the others for first place. Emeral and Jan, our servers, made us feel welcome and insured our needs were well met.

Lugar bom, com comida bem honesta a ótimo preço. No Brasil é comum ter churrasquinho grego. O daqui tem um conceito parecido, mas é bem menos insalubre. O prato que pedi veio com arroz e uns molhos pra acompanhar, além de pão. Tudo bem bom. Se quiser comer bem, rápido e barato, recomendo aqui.

Meget venlig betjening, velsmagende mad og hyggelig atmosfære. Vi fik pitabrød med forskellige dips og oliven imens vi ventede på maden. Dette var på huset. Vi bestilte döner wrap med lam, smagte dejligt. Efter maden fik vi baklava til dessert, gratis.

Rigtig god oplevelse. Vi kommer ind omkring kl 21 en mandag aften, bliver mødt med smil af begge ansatte. Bestiller deres lamme rulle og tager plads. Indenfor kort tid kommer en ansat med forret til os på husets regning. Vores lamme rulle var så lækker og god smag. Derefter fik vi en lille baklava på husets regning til at slutte måltidet af med. Vi kom af med 30 pund for 2 lammeruller, en cola og en vand og derudover forret og dessert oveni. Alt i alt en skøn oplevelse.

Staff clearly don't want to be there, ordered a chicken döner wrap which was somehow cold, and was next to nothing in the wrap for £10.00 I was still hungry and had to just make do with fruit and snacks to make up for the lack of food I got for my money.
