Wilfred's On The Terrace in Burnley

This place is so over rated its unbelievable. Its like London prices, but most people are on Burnley wages. I cant understand that they can get away with charging the prices they charge. They will use the same brewery as the rest of the pubs and clubs. And its the same wine that pubs and clubs use and they charge nearly 3 times more for the same drink just to pay their extortinate overheads. Their should be a ban on ripping customers off. 10 people having a meal and a couple of drinks £1,000!!!! absolutely rediculous

We have been to wilfreds on numerous occasions pre- covid restrictions and alway thought the place was amazing great food, great service. So have been very disappointed on the two occasions we have been since they opened. We went for food last week and felt let down with the drastically reduced portion sizes we received and lack of table service. We phoned to book a table for drinks to which we were told we didn’t need to book tables in the week for drinks just at weekend. We travelled to the establishment to then get told that they don’t allow people to be able to sit outside for drinks We are disgusted at the miscommunication of the staff and the embarrassment we felt being turned away This will be the last time we will visit Wilfreds. I thought businesses would have wanted supporting especially from regulars but that’s obviously not the case and we will spend our money elsewhere in future

We dined here last night and loved the way The Terrace has been set up, very classy and well organised. Food as always was excellent and I highly recommend the chateaubriand. Booking on line was excellent and the follow up emails reminding you to wrap up warm is good as it was extremely cold and a blanket was needed with no one taking their coats off. When the weather improves the experience will be excellent. Looking forward to returning when the weather warms up
