Very disappointing. The wraps are pre-prepared, sitting on a counter, so you can't choose your fillings. Mine was small, and slightly stale at one end. Chips were fine. This meal cost over £13. Incredible.

First time visit to a Comptoir Libanais, had heard of them but never stumbled upon one before. Was overwhelmed with choice at the Westfield London food hall to be honest. We had to order at a till then were given a buzzer to let us know our food was ready to collect. The gentleman who served us was very distracted & kept looking away every few seconds. Was about a 10min wait for food, which I thought was really good as the place was really busy. I enjoyed a tasty lamb burger with halloumi, with yummy crispy chips. My boyfriend enjoyed a honey & harissa half roast chicken. We'd like to find a proper full restaurant version next time of this Lebanese chain. :)

I went here with a friend before catching a movie. We had a chicken wrap and chips. The chips were more or less cold. The wrap was bland and very lackluster, I have not eaten at McDonald's for several years but I am sure that the £1.99 wrap of the day is better than the rubbish that we ate at this 'Lebanese' place. We paid about £25 and it would have been better to go somewhere else where the food actually tastes good. Just avoid this place, there are so many other great places to eat at Westfield, do not waste your money here, you will leave hungry and unsatisfied.

Tried this place as it was halal, in hindsight wish i had gone to Pret & saved around £15 - £20. A £3 gourmet burger from my local Chicken Valley beats this place lamb burger by a mile, falafal wrap & humus not much taste much like the chicken wrap, better to venture outside of Westfields if you fancy quality lebanese i guess. Generouse with my 2 star rating as at least the food satisfied my hunger but with a hefty price as the menu is expensive...

Westfield is a busy shopping centre and I visited back in late November for Christmas shopping so the first thing I would commend this restaurant on is the friendly, helpful and informative service. They managed to explain the dishes to us despite a queue and the line still moved quite quickly. We chose to have a bit of a mixture: We had the lamb kibbeh and batata hurrah followed by a chicken tauk wrap and a falafel and fatuous salad. Everything tasted really fresh, the portions were generous and we decided the next day when we were out in South Kensington to try another of their branches. Definitely converted to Lebanese food -thank you

Located inside Westfield, it is not a table-service restaurant; if they need to make your order, they give you a buzzer which lights up when you food is ready to collect and it terms of seating, it is a case of wherever you can find seating. The portions are big and everything is served together; the disappointing aspect was the taste, I was expecting more flavour rather than the mild flavour. I do not know whether the Westfield restaurant is a true reflection of their other restaurants, as I have had several friends recommend the Kingston-upon-Thames and St Christopher’s Place (off from Oxford Street, London) restaurants. It seems the ethos for this restaurant is cater-for-all rather than those for traditional Lebanese food. We spend about £50 for the two of us, not worth it.

It was the vivid bright colours of the food and then the wonderful sounding menu that first attracted me here. The food was a little pricey, but then so is everything at the Food Hall in Westfield. It is always very busy and struggling to find a seat is an issue for any of the canteens there. Luckily I went with somebody so one of us could find a seat whilst the other ordered. Once we had sat down to eat, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Mezze for two and every single bit of it was extremely enjoyable. We also tried their Rose flavoured drink, which was very refreshing and tasted a bit like Turkish Delight - yum! If you like middle eastern food, then I would definitely recommend Comptoir Libanais when at Westfield. The staff were friendly, yet efficient and the food was very high quality. Do make sure you have a seat before you pick up your tray though, especially if it is busy as you don't want to be wandering round with a heavy tray and nowhere to sit down!

Having eaten in the Comptoir in Sloane Square and South Kensington, I was shocked to see standards in this location. Untrained staff, dirty food preparation area, poorly prepared food. On different occasions I ordered different meals and they were all of a very low standard. The lamb tagine was rock solid and tasteless. Kibbeh portions were either burnt - I notice that they heat them up in an oven without a tray - putting it straight on the oven shelf - which in my opinion isn't hygienic - or dry. Salads didn't look fresh. I have also noticed that the cashier was handling food as well. Health and Safety anyone? This branch is dragging the comptoir chain down and change in management/staff is desperately needed. I will not be returning.

I ordered the Lamb Tagine with Cous Cous (see pic) and it was disgusting - drier than a dessert and tasteless, impossible to eat. I asked the kitchen if we could get something to take away the dry state of the dish, like butter, but was told they didn't have any. I was then offered Humus, which would turn the dish into a material thick enough to fill holes in a wall (!!!) and various other thick sauces which would do the same or similar. As a last resort we chose mint yoghurt as it was a little runnier than the other sauces but actually still turned it into a thicker ball of food. We didn't eat even half of our food. Once I complained, it would have been better for them to take it back and offer me something else entirely, not say "sorry" but still force me to eat this gross piece of crap. The Pomegranate & Orange Blossom Syrup drink (see pic) was delicious, it had sweetness with bite, like cranberry juice, with the added citrus sweetness of orange, but the price for the drink £3.45 is incredibly expensive.

I come to this eatery every week, sometimes twice a week and although in the past i have enjoyed the food, the customer service has gone from bad to worse. I would like to ask the company if they understand what 1. hygiene is, 2. what being polite is, 3. if they know what an apology is and 4. if they understand the concept of good customer service. Today and last week has by far been the worst experience and to unfortunately put me off to the point i am taking time out of my busy schedule and write this. The issues are not just with simple hygiene but also the mannerisms and professionalism of staff who have today been very offensive. I feel that if my food OR a fresh juice is being touched with bare hands, then hands should be washed first. Is this not a basic hygiene rule? Today, and last week, i asked for a fresh carrot juice. After the cash was taken from me, the same member of staff who prior to me was handling meat / poultry proceeded to take fresh carrots without washing hands or wearing gloves. At this point, i feel it is reasonable to mention that kitchen work tops and notes carry a lot of germs and i am not comfortable that hands are not washed or gloves are not worn before handling food. Even if it is not a standard procedure or basic hygiene rule, i was not comfortable with the way my fresh carrot juice was being made without the use of gloves. After trying to get the attention of the staff, I politely asked for them to put some gloves on. They did not do this. I was ignored. Although I was less than impressed with the lack of co-operation, i decided to not say anything as I was limited for time and thought it would just cause a scene. The person who was making my juice then proceeded to laugh about it to their colleagues, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was here standing as a paying customer, feeling very offended for asking for something very basic. Once my juice was made, they handed it to me in a dirty glass. I raised this to Ridan who said he was the Manager, and asked politely for him to transfer it into a clean glass. Ridan did not do this, instead he tried to make an excuse advising that the dirt mark was just a scratch on the glass. I asked again for this to be done and Ridan was less than discourteous about doing this and resisted as much as possible, then proceeded to turn around, do this and laugh about this, in my face, to his colleague. As a Manager, i would expect a higher level of customer service from Ridan, of course from all staff but especially from the Manager as he should be setting a good example. If my glass is dirty, the right thing would have been to change the glass as per my request, or, simply make me a new one. This is not an isolated situation, as the same thing happened to me last week. Additionally, as i am a frequent customer and the majority of staff are aware of who i am. When i approach the counter, there is never a smile. They treat me poorly, speak to me with no courtesy or respect and do not consider my simple/basic requests. Whatever happened to basic, good, customer service??

Will not go into detail here but will just say that they must be spiking the food with some preservatives that are lethal for people who eat clean or simply keeping the food out for too long - not very good ....Moreover, it is terribly overpriced for what you get - we paid 40+ GBP for our lunch the two of us which consisted of two salads and three dips - not much of a good value, which could be forgotten if the food was as fresh and as healthy as it appeared at first glance ..... avoid avoid avoid and choose some other place in the massive Westfield .....

I have been to Comptoir Libanais at the food court in Westfield White City/Sheperd's Bush many times. The food is always excellent, especially the chicken taouk wraps and hummus. However, the ordering system is always chaotic. It is difficult to know where to order and once you do, you have to go to the till and repeat your order to the cashier, pay, then wait. Hopefully you will get the right order in the end. So I learned that ordering mezze and dips is at the far right, then you move to the wraps section in the middle and order from someone else there. Not this time though. Completely ignored at the mezze section whilst others cut in the queue an ordered from the wraps section. So I ordered everything from the wrap section. Went to the till, repeated my order (mezze platter for 2, three chicken taouks, 3 cokes). Got a mezze platter for 1 (which was for previous customer) but error was corrected before leaving and a lamb wrap (which we had to take back and exchange for chicken). My bill stated 3 different kinds of wraps (chicken taouk, chicken kofta and falafel wrap) and 3 different soft drinks (diet coke, coke, 7 up). Why? I had to doublecheck the prices to make sure I wasn't overcharged. Staff behind the counter are all young and inexperienced but it would help considerably if management set up a clear, functional ordering system. It has been this disorganised for years... why is this so difficult to achieve? All you need is some simple signage and staff trained where and how to take orders. I love the food here but sometimes I skip this place because I know I will get frustrated in the end, like I did on Wednesday.
