. . . Lección aprendida. Hay muchos otros restaurantes mejores cerca.

Visited here on Friday night and wasn't disappointed. Place was quiet due to Ramadan but staff were welcoming and very attentive. Had the Lebanese meze for 3. Well could have fed 5 easily. Started off with 3 dips, aubergine, hummus and yoghurt. Seved with the thinnest pitta breads I've ever seen. Gorgeous. Then a plate came out with stuffed vine leaves, and another 2 which I don't know the name of but were very tasty. We then moved onto a huge plate of pork, lamb and chicken. Washed down with a very nice glass of white wine. I'd recommend this hidden gem and will be back when I'm back down in London.

We ordered the "Traditional Lebanese Meze and Grill Platter to Share with Glass of Wine". It was a good sampler of the lebanes cuisine and a lot of food for three so we were able to take home some. The owner/manager was the one serving us himself and he was very accomodating. Food was spicy and delicious. Location was on the main street in the Edgeware Road area, so it was easy to find.

We are regular visitors to tarboush and have been for the last 5 years - the service is always amazing- you can see how much the owner cares as he is always fully involved and making sure all party’s are happy. The food is amazing and great value for money and always more than enough especially with the set menu. I would highly recommend and will, as always, be back soon.

Something a bit different in an Arab area of London. The restaurant is clean and the service by the owner was good. The food was plentiful. Some might think it was a bit bland but better to come out so that you can add seasoning than over seasoned. The humus and the meats were cooked very nicely especially the chicken which was still juicy.

I made the mistake of bringing my auntie here (who has come for a holiday) thinking we were going to have a nice meal out. We were greeted and served by an old man who seemed to be the manager there First we walked in and the man kept asking us what we want without letting us look at the menu properly, rushed us so we ordered very quickly. looking around the restaurant and there’s spider webs in the corners, the cutlery was unclean and the tables were almost dusty. Our drinks came and there was lipstick marks on the cups. At this point we knew we made a BIG mistake by coming here, the food came (2 wraps and chips) and was very average, on top of that the plated looked dirty and it instantly put us off our food. Thankfully it was time to pay. the guy tried to process the payment through three card machine and there was a connection error, we had 2 cards which were credit cards and for about 30 minutes he was trying again and again, he didn’t even apologise for wasting our time or any inconvenience all he cared about was getting his £20 and finally after half an hour one of the payments went through. Still no apology. Worst experience ever, we went to McDonald’s after as we were still hungry They also charged us 12% service charge for the worst service I’ve had. Would not recommend

Tried very very hard to book a table, as for 2 days no one answered the phone, then when we did arrive , no need to book as the whole restaurant was empty, some people out side were smoking shisha, we had the Groupon voucher, and to be fair the starters were very nice, Hummus, Vine leaves, stuffed flat bread and fattoush salad. We cannot fault the starters they were delicious. , however the food was dumped on our table by what looked like the owner, food came quickly one after the other, , the mains were shawarma , lamb kebab and chicken , with rice, but all were served at such a quick pase that we could not eat as fast as the food was served, then the owner at a very empty restaurant was involved in his lap top completly eqnored us, when we asked for the bill our baklava at the end of the meal which was meant to be included. did not arrive, pity this restaurant with so many in Edgware road will not servive This restaurant has the potential to be great food but very bad serviceI won’t be returning anytime at all.

This place pretends to be a lebanese restaurant but the majority of staff are Egyptian and prepare the dishes accordingly. However, that is not the problem. The place is dirty! When we sat down we realised the plates on the table had not been washed properly and had to change them. The bathrooms were filthy and the smell from them wafted up over our lunch which made us feel sick. The food itself did not taste fresh and we barely finished it. Definitely will not go again and strongly recommend you avoid.

I know there are many negative reviews, but honestly i went with a couple of friends a while ago, and we absolutly loved it. The food had an amazing taste and flavour without the overpowering chilli spice that you get in most asian restaurants. We ordered a variety of dishes from the liver to the lamb shank to calamari, and much more. Everything we ordered was divine. I still rave about this place. I am from the staffordshire area and was visiting London but whenever i go back i will always eat here. It is a little expensive but well worth it because of the quality of food. AVOID LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON ITWhere do I begin? For starters, the waitress looked nonplussed that me and my girlfriend were even there. I was hoping for a nice meal but everything was totally below par. TV screens blared with football that no-one except the owner seemed to be interested in, with the sound level ridiculously high. I love middle eastern food and was really hoping this place would be nice - the starters were average and the food took so long that I was left scratching my head when it took around 50 minutes to come out (let's bear in mind that there was only me and my girlfriend and 2 other couples there.) Whilst we were having our starters the couple next to us got up and complained that it took so long for their food to come out that they cancelled their order and left, quite vocally. There was no explanation offered to them by the owner/shady character, or the waitress who was totally not bothered, or offered them any recompense, just the receipt. Also it seems that they will let anybody in, 2 - girls walked in off the street that looked like junkies demanding that they used the toilets, and were let right in. After the first couple left the owner gave the two useless Chefs a rollocking in front of the rest of the restaurant, which was great for everyone else to know about. We ordered 2 starters that came to around £20 (a fatoush that a child could have made and a spicy homous) The shish taouk which is impossible to get wrong was bland and average. I received mixed meats - with the kofte being chewy. On what planet can minced meat become chewy? When Britain's potholes need filling I will recommend them to come here for their supplies. The lamb seemed akin to a horse's saddle. Add an average bottle of wine and the tally comes to £70. £70 for literally the worst meal i've ever had - I've never not finished a meal and half my plate was still there when I asked for the bill - Which was demanded in cash. (It was never mentioned that they didn't take cash.) By this time the waitress had disappeared for around 25 minutes, on which the owner took the onus of throwing a tray on the table with the receipt on it, without saying a thing, but with a polite glare. Customer service is obviously key to this place. It sickened me that I parted with more than £15, let alone £70. Instead of this place go - literally - anywhere else. What a joke.If you think this is me being nitpicky - trust me, I think i last complained about a meal in 2005.Trust me, go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Undoubtedly the most overpriced restaurant on Edgware Road. The service was reasonable and food adequate but there was just not a lot of it. What was described as a "Large Mixed Grill for 2 people" just about filled one person. What's more, it was priced at an incredulous £24.95. The 3 of us paid £75 for one "large" and "medium" mixed grill, hummus, fatoush salad and one round of soft drinks. Naturally, we went home as hungry as we were disappointed. How this restaurant can still operate as a business with such little regard for customer satisfaction or value for money, I simply don't know.

I went there with my family. The restaurant was not very busy but had a good feel to it . After all most of the restaurants in the street looked like take aways. They have good wine list for a Lebansese restaurant. We have gone for an Australian white and the Lebanese red which were excellent. We Choose a selection of traditional mezza and some new ones like grilled tiger prawns, grilled scallops, garlic baby aubergines and goat's cheese dip. The mezza was good. For the main we the Veal chop which was big , juicy and deliciously grilled. My wife ordered a fried king prawn in a provincal garlic and cottiander sauce which was perfect. Even the shish taouk ( Grilled Chicken cubes ) which my son ordered was beautiful. This is a Lebamese restaurant different than the norm and it has a touch of class to it. However, the atmosphere warmed as other diners arrived. Service was good - friendly, attentive and accurate. We chose dishes we had never eaten before and were impressed by the presentation, flavour and portion size. A Lebanese white wine costing £25 was excellent - distinctively flowery. We were somewhat taken aback by the £1.50 cover charge per person although what was supplied as an appetiser was substantial. A service charge was added at 12.5 percent bringing the total bill to £93 for three diners each having two courses sharing one bottle of wine.Overall, interesting and enjoyable if maybe a little expensive.

Four of us ate here. The vegetarian meze was nice and the contents of the lunch special wrap were nice. The problem was the service. It took an hour to get any food after various chasing. They add a fairly hefty 13.5% service charge. I did not want to ruin the mood of the day out by objecting but normally I would as service was woeful. Lovely little street full of many restaurants. I am used to restrooms being hidden on another floor but here they are down a fairly steep flight of steps.
