Woody Grill in City of London, Westminster

Chose this restaurant as we were looking for a quick Turkish lunch with a spacious interior . We had a cold selection of mezze for 2 which came with only 2 dolmades along with hummus,tzatsiki and 2 other dips. For mains ,we ordered a platter of grilled meat with fries,mixed salad and pitta bread. Food was tasty and of a big portion. Service was friendly. Enjoyable meal.

Horrible service, disgusting food and rude staff. Not only that but it was very very unclean and unhygienic. Don’t bother going here

The staff were so incredibly rude. Our food was cold despite them making it there and then. Chewy chicken. Disgusting falafel. We are a same sex couple and they screamed at us to leave.

We ordered a kebab vis Uber Eats after a few pints. Absolutely banging, our eyes were bigger than our bellies and we got the Woody Special ( chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb kofte, chicken kofte, mix donner, mix rice, salad, sauce, and bread) - glad our flatmate helped us out to finish it off. Absolutely delicious, fresh salads and nicely cooked meats. Can't wait to eat in the restaurant for the full experience!

Frecuenté el asador Woodys el 18 de octubre (¡pequeño Woodys!) Y estaba realmente entusiasmado con mi comida. Lamentablemente, el servidor en ese momento decidió atender a otro cliente que había ordenado 10 minutos después de mí primero. Solo puedo presumir porque pidieron la misma comida, pero por alguna razón fueron más importantes. Planteé este punto con el servidor, pero él no pareció verlo como un momento importante o definitorio. Me fui sin comida. . . Después de abandonar las instalaciones, un miembro del personal intentó corregir esto (vio que estaba en mi teléfono). En general, se ve bien, pero no te molestes. . .

Can you hurry up!! Is this decent talk from a server.. didn’t feel could ask for what we wanted that had to rush and say anything...

The food already cooked looks dry and pitiful, took it a couple of times and choices are very limited: lamb shank, lamb and aubergines, lamb with peas and carrots!.. However the freshly done shish kebabs are very juicy, tasty and plentiful..

Ordered a take away (meat, salad and bread). When I got home, the first thing that struck me was the smell - it smelled off! Tasted a tiny bit and decided to throw the whole thing out as I didn’t want to get ill. Will definitely not be returning and urge others to find other restaurants also!

We went there and found delicious fresh food and huge portions. We had the fish, and it was fresh and would have cost much, much more in a fancier restaurant. The cooks behind the counter were gracious. Excellent fresh chili sauce which tasted like spicy gazpacho. A good place to visit after going to the Kiln theatre.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. Not particularly friendly. Pleasant enough. Food was fine. Fairly unspectacular interior. It’s just your average kebab shop offering dining in options. The food was fine - tasty etc but nothing to set it apart particularly. That said I would rather go here than to some flash Turkish restaurant charging three times as much.

The "wood special" is a fantastic option. All cooked meat with salad and rice was amazing and a unbeliavable tasty of the seasoning. Good job guys.

As a single female I did not feel welcome here, my order was not taken seriously and I felt uncomfortable. On top of having to wait a long time for my order, it was not that good. I will not be going back here. It is not good value for money.

Been going for years to the same place. When you're "hangry" and want very good food "now' this is the perfect place. Free dips and bread to start with. Also the mixed kebab is highly recommended. And for pudding they do a lovely rice pudding! Thanks you! See you soon!

Horrible greasy food, dirty tables, staff rude, we shan't be visiting again, you're better of at a Berni Inn

I been told new management has took over the place and made lot of changes. I can see many improvement which has great reflects on quality of the food and service. Well done guys definitely will be back.

Please just avoid there's are other restaurants nearby that are better. Food was horrible, the price was high considering the quality of the food. I wouldn't recommend

Un buen aspecto externo y muebles puede dar la ilusión de algunos medio-mercado. El kebab - Menú basado pueden vencer algunas parte de la ilusión.

Pedimos un plato para 5 personas con hummous y patatas fritas.
