Didn't realize after reading other reviews that we would be eating amongst casual drinkers. Portion sizes are very small and leave a lot to be desired. Definitely won't be back

A little disappointing and expensive. We went for lunch and we were told sandwiches weren’t available. (A shame at lunchtime). We all chose wraps, two barbecue chicken and two chilli chicken with chips. The wraps were ok but not worth the price and the chips were extremely poor quality. It was served with the tiniest of salads. I sadly compared it to a popular burger chain where I had exactly the same items a few weeks before, just the same quantity, probably even more chicken for a third of the price. As we were waiting for the food a supermarket delivery van arrived and brought a quantity of ready made McCain's fries, so we realised then why the chips were so poor.

Lived in Cyprus and the food here is on par with anything I had there reminds me of good times will be ordering a lot more often

The food is fairly authentic, portion sizes are good, although the price is medium-to-higher. Nicely presented, good ambience and the staff are friendly

I would like to talk about my experience with this restaurant as they do not adhere to any of the basic rules - of human decency! I was treated without respect I was shouted at and at the end she also made a racist comment “that I am so Greek” because in fact I called to make a complaint about my order . Let me start by saying that I have severe health issues with anything containing onion so many many times I had requested no onion in my order and never once did this restaurant follow up and most of the time I ended up taking them out myself afraid that maybe I would have issues after with my stomache. Today I made the same order halloumi gyros as I am a vegetarian and its the only thing that I can eat and reminds me of Souvlaki that we eat in Greece - and it had small pieces of meat in side. Vegetarian and meat do not mix - so I got pretty angry and decided to call the restaurant and talk with the manager as that for me was a grave mistake and that the behavior was irresponsible and with no respect to a persons eating habits or way of life. The lady on the phone was shouting was rude , unprofessional , unapologetic and told me 2 things if you do not like do not order again and that you are Greek that is why you are complaining. You may understand my anger as she was obliged to apologize for her irresponsible behaviors and lack of respect to a humans right to choose what to eat. So , based on all the above after my experience I give 0 to this restaurant and based on the ladys irresponsibility if u do order in the end who knows what you eat...! Think about it! Amazing place with great interiors. Food is tasty, with amazing hospitality! The food is really prime, definitely happy with the chef.

Been in here twice now as we have found space here to sit and relax when other cafes have been busy. On both occasions we have had a tea & cappuccino as well as a bacon, egg and cheeses sandwich. On both occasions we have had a good experience here, the bacon being cooked nice and crisp and the egg not runny which is just how we both like it, give this cafe/ restaurant a go if you are in town as it is a friendly and pleasant place to go.

As a regular / local visitor since before lockdown, I have been recently disappointed since returning to be put off my food with the basic service not being met. One very loud female member of staff - who is old enough to know a responsible volume of voice to use - for some unknown reason decides to shout extremely loudly as her ‘talking’ volume. Whilst eating here with family and friends, she can be heard out the back in the kitchen while she’s doing the food or dishes, shouting in conversation to other staff rudely about some customers or about her life. I have experienced this on more than one occasion when I have visited, it was not just a one off time. It really is off putting for customers and absolutely no need for it. I often bring family and friends here who have also been put off by her shouting. Local residents have also noticed it when eating, which was whispered at other tables when I heard her shouting here on my latest visit today. We now don’t seem to have a nice peaceful lunch in the quiet area of Hadley as we used to. Disappointing for an area like Hadley to have staff serving local residents or visitors, who lack even the basic human manners or awareness of consideration to others around with their own noise. Very off-putting

Took up the Wednesday offer of £20pp, for 2 courses, which includes a bottle of wine. Sat in the conservatory with our dog. Great value and service.

worst food ever! went for takeaway, waited over 20mins for food. they forgot a portion of chips. the ones i got were stale, i only live around the corner!! wrap was basic, lentil soup was just meat broth full of oil, chops were dry. place looks lovely on the outside, terrible food on the inside.

Was with a group and had prearranged a meal for 14 prior to watching a show Place very busy I had ordered the pork in cider sauce along with 2 others Dishes that were served were lukewarm and had to be returned The best part fir me is normally the crackling part of the belly pork all 3 portions were without the crackling part Very disjointed service Mediocre at best

this is dreadful, i get sick every time i eat form this place, the food is so old and the dips are moldy, i had Humus and Yogurt, they were moldy, and the shop refused to return it. the staff are like gangsters and scary, i fear this place.
