The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Mediterranean food

Recommended by my sister and so glad we took her advice. The food was delicious and served quickly. We had the hot starters which came with a lovely salad on the side then chicken kebab. All delicious. We’ll be back

Didn't realize after reading other reviews that we would be eating amongst casual drinkers. Portion sizes are very small and leave a lot to be desired. Definitely won't be back

Been in here twice now as we have found space here to sit and relax when other cafes have been busy. On both occasions we have had a tea & cappuccino as well as a bacon, egg and cheeses sandwich. On both occasions we have had a good experience here, the bacon being cooked nice and crisp and the egg not runny which is just how we both like it, give this cafe/ restaurant a go if you are in town as it is a friendly and pleasant place to go.

My friends and I went to the greek night .Oh what a night .Food and atmosphere was amazing .As it was several of my friends 60th birthday in sept ,Chris allowed me to bring in some giant balloons .When getting up to dance to Zorba he let me throw my plastic picnic plates😂What a good sport 👍Every member of staff is lovely and so good at their jobs .I think Sheldons is the best place to go to in Colwyn Bay .Try it and I am sure you'll agree!

Lived in Cyprus and the food here is on par with anything I had there reminds me of good times will be ordering a lot more often

The food is fairly authentic, portion sizes are good, although the price is medium-to-higher. Nicely presented, good ambience and the staff are friendly

I would like to talk about my experience with this restaurant as they do not adhere to any of the basic rules - of human decency! I was treated without respect I was shouted at and at the end she also made a racist comment “that I am so Greek” because in fact I called to make a complaint about my order . Let me start by saying that I have severe health issues with anything containing onion so many many times I had requested no onion in my order and never once did this restaurant follow up and most of the time I ended up taking them out myself afraid that maybe I would have issues after with my stomache. Today I made the same order halloumi gyros as I am a vegetarian and its the only thing that I can eat and reminds me of Souvlaki that we eat in Greece - and it had small pieces of meat in side. Vegetarian and meat do not mix - so I got pretty angry and decided to call the restaurant and talk with the manager as that for me was a grave mistake and that the behavior was irresponsible and with no respect to a persons eating habits or way of life. The lady on the phone was shouting was rude , unprofessional , unapologetic and told me 2 things if you do not like do not order again and that you are Greek that is why you are complaining. You may understand my anger as she was obliged to apologize for her irresponsible behaviors and lack of respect to a humans right to choose what to eat. So , based on all the above after my experience I give 0 to this restaurant and based on the ladys irresponsibility if u do order in the end who knows what you eat...! Think about it! Thank you for your time.

El servicio al cliente fue excepcional. La comida era sabrosa. Mientras que el shish de pollo estaba ligeramente mal cocido, la ensalada y el postre eran sabrosos. El personal era amable con nuestro hijo. Definitivamente me gustaría visitar de nuevo.

this is dreadful, i get sick every time i eat form this place, the food is so old and the dips are moldy, i had Humus and Yogurt, they were moldy, and the shop refused to return it. the staff are like gangsters and scary, i fear this place.

probamos el restaurante del hotel, pero todas las noches durante 6 noches los mismos platos, 80% de ellos picantes, no es normal en un hotel internacional, además algunas mesas son altas para que pueda sentarse en una trona pequeña sin comodidad

Not worth it, even at half the price. Walked in for the first time and asked for two things and was told it's not available. Usually this is when a customer service rep should recommend a few things but I just stood there awkwardly asking what is available. Then was served my third preference of food. Paid £14 for it and it's cold. So not only my third preference but also very cold. I work super local to this place and was looking forward to it but this subpar experience means I likely wont be returning.
